Is a very nice park with the shelter if it rains. A friend of mine and I have breakfast once a week usually at the North end of the park. We pick up our breakfast at McDonalds and sit on one of the benches at the North end of the park. The walk around the park Ive been told is about 3/4 of a mile. So occasionally I will walk around the park.

Dog park is clean and not very busy. Was refreshing to see a park worker cleaning up the entrance when we arrived. That said, I wish the park wasnt located immediately off such a busy road (Harlem). Would have 5 stars otherwise.

This park is quiet and in a nice area. Theres something for the entire family. Running room for toddlers, big green fields for football, soccer, tag, dogs, or even a picnic. My nephews love it!

Well-maintained park. Nice place to walk. Street parking is available on the east side of the park. The only negative is the location as Harlem Avenue is on the west side of the park where traffic is always very heavy during the day. The dog park is interesting to observe when it is populated with many dog owners and their dogs.

Simple little park, clean with wash rooms. 2 year old loves it.

The park is good for all ages, social distancing was within good reason and quite of kids and adults were not wearing masks when close to other kids and adults.

Great place to hangout with family for a quiet and peaceful evening.

This park saved us from going crazy during the pandemic... only thing missing is a basketball court

Theres a nice playground for the kiddos to get sleepy(nannies/moms will get it). Even has a dog park and OPEN public restrooms(pretty clean).

Beautiful playground with inclusive amenities. Be mindful that done events will reserve the picnic area or baseball fields. High schoolers try to be cool and rebellious once nightfall his but just remember that the park DOES close at sunset. Expect smokers and bums taking advantage of the public park bench so any dogs, infants, children, or elders with asthma to avoid being exposed to dangerous secondhand smoking.

Not a huge Park like Proksa Park in North Berwyn bit still has a baseball diamond, jungle gym, winding walk path, a gazebo with a picnic table close to the working bathrooms.

Pretty nice new park. Lots of equipment for almost every age range. Good shade, lots of grass to run in.

Fun place for kids

Its not much and the last time I was here the gate was stuck so I had to go the dance and open from the inside. Its always empty as well. No running water in the fountains either.

Gorgeous park and playground. paved walkway is great for running. so nice to see so many families and children’s sports teams out when the weather is nice!

Have a picnic, meditate under a tree, walk your pet, go for a jog around the park, play checkers on the built in tables and benches nearby the cushioned-floor kids play area, bring your own equipment and play a game or two of volleyball, soccer or pretty much any sport with a ball, have a seat on one of several benches spread throughout the park for a moment of reflection, read that one last chapter in that book youve been meaning to finish or write in your journal while enjoying the outdoor breeze. All of this and so much more can be enjoyed here. A park Ill visit again & again to rest my mind and enjoy the day.

Sometimes this is a nice place, but many times people feel as if its their duty to let their dogs loose on the regular trail.

Quiet, nice walk path or you can sit and enjoy the weather. I walked with my two fur babies, then sat and read my book.

Usually a fine place to be but been a bit dirty the last few times I have gone and not as well kept up sadly. Hopefully this coming year brings back good forture for it.

Nice and clean but needs more playground for little kids

The playground at Maple Park has been completely remodeled since last year and is now without all of the messy sand of the sandbox. The equipment is new and theres an area for smaller children as well as big ones. My nephews love this park. Theres easily accessible bathroom facilities, no vagrancy and tons of room to run and play.

Unsafe for younger children..looks nice but in actuality very ineffect..theres what appears to b a slide to climb my 5yo grandson wasnt even 1/3 of the way up and slid off..its At least 4ft off the ground I was there to keep him from falling.. No reg swings just 2 baby ones

This park is EXCELLENT since it has been remodeled! I grew up in Oak Pk and now I bring my grandkids to play at the parks. THIS is our fav by far!!!

This park in particular, is run by people from another suburb. Makes it intimidating to enjoy parks that we pay extra exorbitant TAXES for, and to top it off to feel threatened. Why is this? Barry Park is the same way!

Recent (2016) renovations made what Im sure will be great improvements to the fields, paths and sightlines. The playground was moved south, and closer to the restrooms is a plus. Other positives include the spongy rubber surface and covered area north of the playground. However, a major fail is in safety for little ones--fencing is too short and inadequate to keep little runners inside the playground while a minder has eyes on another child. Another major mistake was moving the playground into the sun--shaded playground space was already at a premium in OP, and the old Maple Park was great for that. These things could have been easily fixed during planning with community input. Also, PDOP replaced some unique and very interesting playground equipment at Maple with stuff thats much more ho-hum. An opportunity to improve the Maple playground experience was clearly lost here.
