Pleasant walking path. Not very long. If you are a bird watcher you may be able to spot a few species not normally seen in the city.

Ranger and I love this place. We go almost every day. Very clean. Very peaceful most of the time. Sprinklers and monkey bars for the kids to play with.Ranger enjoys visiting the kids.

Great walking trails . Grounds are spotless. I was amazed at the cleanliness of the trails with all the trash people are capable of. It must be exhausting cleaning the trails as they do.

Came to practice Tai Chi and Dao Yin this afternoon at the Wolfe Wildlife Refuge on the deck known to us as the Hexagon. There was a great breeze so the hot sun was no problem. Made for the sounds of rustling leaves and birds singing: occasionally little children laughing (and screaming). A great afternoon.

Great place for a gathering. We spent the extra money & rented the super cooker & that was well worth it. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that the tables under the pavilion are in rough shape. They definitely need to be refurbished. Especially nice if you have smaller kids seeing as the splash pad & playground are both close to the pavilion so you can keep an eye on them.

My favorite park to go to in oak lawn. We used the picnic pavilion for my daughters birthday last year and it was perfect. Nice playground areas, splash pad is nice for the kids. Hiking trails go around the pond, cute little duckies are always nice to see.

Unique day trip. Wolf and other small canine nature park. Fantastic place to go and enjoy and educate yourself and your family or friends on the wonder of these amazing animals. On site parking, close to hotels and restaurants.

Grandkids played at the playground and then we took a short walk on the trail. Saw an egret and ducks. Had a nice time.

Its not a massive wildlife reserve or anything, but its certainly fun to walk down the trails (including unmarked ones) at all times of the day. There are bullfrogs, cranes, muskrats, snapping turtles, and more here. Also, I like that theres no ticks!

Great place. Still a very clean park, but has become popular with groups of people that do not clean up after themselves.Sad, because there are enough garbage cans around.

Great place to go for a long walk all year round. Enjoyable to observe change of seasons. A long path snakes through the entire forest and prairie areas. You will find playgrounds here and there, bridges to walk over and pause at. Theres a winding pond with a dwindling duck population due to the pond being slowly drained by a retention pond constructed by a nearby Marianos when it first opened. I expect that the pond will completely disappear along with the ducks in the near future, so you should visit soon.

Take the some bread on the nature path and feed the ducks. Theyre trained to come right up to you and get some bread.

This Wolfe wildlife park it is a very beautiful place to go for walk out. It also a great place to take your kids to because there are lots of fun there. It is awesome.

This is a great trail for a nice walk in the woods in the middle of Oak Lawn. Bike rides are also recommended. The best part: is it leads right to marianos. What a fantastic idea!

Great place to take the kids. I was impressed with their nature-themed play area which is pretty big and adventurous for the kids. There are benches for parents alongside, as well as a large picnic area with many picnic benches under a canopy. Their nature trails are paved and go around the lagoon, and is well-kept. They also have a parking lot on 109th Street.

Great park for dogs, offers a doggie drinking fountain and dookie pickup bags. Also a great park for the kids with a climbing rock, and rubber matted playground. Has a nice trail with its fair share of ducks and birds. Close to marianos and also offers a canopeed area with picnic benches and grilling stations.
