I grew up going to this park for family and/or church picnics. It had a big field to run and play soccer or football. The dog park is a plus for our furbabies. Two pavilions for gatherings and bathrooms. But it has changed since then. Now the open fields have 2 tennis courts with some space to throw a ball around. I still LOVE it because the playground is naturally shaded by big trees and we have had it all to ourselves. No worries about distancing or bumping into others.

My family and I love coming here, my husband and kids spend the whole time having a blast I have fun with them as well though most of the time Im cleaning up what others have left all over the park. OUR CHILDREN PLAY HERE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES. :) other than that its awesome here. I even brought my ferret to run around she enjoyed it as well.

Pretty good spot, to take the doggies for a good exercise, and they get to have funn in the open, its a it far from my house but, I dont mind the rode to c mi doggies happy !

A quiet park with a caged dog friendly park next to it. It has swings, seesaw, rock climbing, monkey bars, slides, and a few more things for your kids to play with. I would like to see more police officers in the area as the playground is secluded near a residential area. I did see a few homeless folks camping out, although they were very friendly. They made small talk and kept to themselves afterwards. All in all great park to visit if its near your location but nothing to extravagant.

You would not expect to find this gem hidden back in this little cut,tucked away from the hustle and bustle of u.s 41! What a beautiful park! There are 2 tennis courts, 2 gated dog areas, 2 covered picnic bench areas, grills for cooking, a restroom, play ground with equipment for children, and a wide open grassy area. It is clean and very well kept. Take your family and or your pets, its a wonderful park!

Nice quiet uncrowded park . The playground was fun for all 3 of the children I brought with me ages 3, 9 and 11. The tennis courts are nice and there is a nice grassy area to put a blanket down and lay in the shade. Dogs are allowed too.

Pleasant place to spend time with my dog while visiting with other dog lovers.

Nice park. Used to have a breathtaking veiw of the waterway and passing manatees and schools of fish. Now the shoreline is overgrown and the view of the water is totally blocked.The squirrels are very friendly. I wouldnt recommend using the dog parks unless you are the only person there. As so.e people are bring untrained aggressive dogs into the free roam areas. Thats dangerous for all.

Great place for dogs to have fun and exercise. Plenty of room to move around and the owners so far are friendly and keep tabs on their dogs. Really nice and quiet area and there is a restroom nearby if needed.

It looked spooky to me. I didnt feel safe for some reason.

My American Staffordshire and I love this place. It brings the good out in your dog having them interact and play with other dogs. Keeps their health and social skills in check. This dog park provides plenty of water, space to run and shade.

Theres not many public places to launch a kayak. This launch gives a sense of adventure to it due to the canopy.

The only downside of it is that there are no benches on the edges of the playground. But overall great place!!

Loved the dog park!Our 5 year old puppy was excited to run around with friendly dogs and play fetch in a fenced in area. The large dog park has a few crates full of tennis balls and toys to play with, fresh water for the dogs, bathrooms and water for humans, and shade from the trees. Will definitely visit regularly!

This is a really nice dog park and offers lots of shade for the large dog part of it. There is a separate area for small dogs. It does not look to be as shaded.

Its a great park I went there as a kid and they have new equipment now and you can see the water which is nice.

Nice small area for dogs to be able to play and run. They have an area for bigger dogs and a smaller dogs area. They have the rules in an area thats easy to see and so far all the owners pay attention and clean after their dogs. Most of the smaller dogs run around and play and not much barking.

I love taking my dog here. The grass is always well kept and friendly people always come.The pooch park is divided in 2 ;one side is for big dogs and the other side is for small to medium size dogs. This is great because we all know little chihuahuas like to pick on big dogs heheAnyhow, if you live near by and want to treat your pet for a great experience...This is the place!

Quiet and well organized place to take your dog. Our Chihuahua Hank met another Chihuahua called Tank of all things. They had a great time.

The place has a playground, softball/baseball field, and a dog park. The dog park is big dogs and little dogs. Great place to take your kids. It has a tennis court too.

We have a 20# Fox Terrier, the small dog area is fenced, clean and well maintained. Most of the dog owners we have encountered are polite and their dogs are well behaved.

Used the baseball field which is pretty nice. It has tennis, basketball, dog runs and playground areas.

Great park for dogs.. there are 2 sections, one for small and 2 for large dogs.. they have balls and frisbees there and plenty of poop stations . It has a playground and picnic area as well even a drinking fountain for dogs.. todays visit was good but cut short due to an aggressive dog and owner that let his dog be.. not cool.. other than that great park.

The small dog park is extremely small and has no trees for shade. I was told the trees were lost in hurricane Irma which happened over a year ago. So why werent new ones planted? Shade is important in Florida dog parks. The large dog park was adequate in size. Still could use more trees at the one end and new sod. Some of the area was just dirt. The people seemed friendly enough but the parks could use some care.

Great dog park dogs will love to run free in the fenced in area while your kids have a great time on the play equipment which btw is a covered play set. One of the biggest around. Covered eating area or just sit and enjoy the beautiful surrounding. Love love love this park. Oh and tennis courts. Just great place to take the family and the the furry part of the family.

This park is hidden gem in N Ft Myers. The playground has a large pavilion next to it so you can sit in the shade. We have had a few birthday parties here and always have the best time.

Perfect place to take both dogs and kids! Fenced in areas for dogs to play. The playground is mostly shaded, next to a picnic table filled pavilion. Great place for a picnic.

Beautiful Park! I didnt experience all of it but enjoyed the dog part of it. Looks like there was a lot more there to do also.

Great Little park for family outing... Bring the dogs o, its a Dog Park... also tennis courts, playground, BBQ pits/grills, nature trail... Baseball areas and Theres a boat ramp with kayak slips... This place has plenty of shade trees or pavillions.... Theres are bathrooms on site too.... Parks is Right on Yellow-fever creek, however Swimming is NOT recommended, unless you enjoy being Gator Bait! Highly recommend this Park:)

Dirty, run down, with a little wind the smell from dog play area was discussing! It ruined the birthday party. No one wanted to eat. First and last time you will find me there.

I come here for the dog park, and its pretty nice. The fact they have two areas for small/shy, and large/outgoing dogs is really nice. Could use some shade in the small dog park area though.

Usually a very nice community park. In the past some skechy people woild hang around. Havent seen them recently besides the young adults/ late teens trying to damage the playground equipment- I yelled at them and they took off

Just watch out for the old ladies, they the real creepers frfr. This place reminds of a park behind a gated community, NFM is lucky to have this park. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean considering the scum that dwells in the woods.

Great little country setting doggie park. The county has divided the doggie part into two sections, small doggies and large dogs. There is park bench setting and a chain link fence around each section. Theres even a pavilion for family get-togethers apart annd separate from the doggie park. Peaceful ambiance and scenic the park is a favorite local for dog owners.

Our family loves it here. Ive been coming here for years and have just recently been able to explore the waterways.

Great place to meet friends and bring your other little family members your four-legged friends with you the love it.

Small, but not without its charms. Theyve divided up the dog park very well, and there is plenty of space to walk around and stretch your legs. One HUGE annoyance is that theyve left no opening anywhere in the trees to actually enjoy the surrounding water. Its such a shame, because some of the larger and more active flying fish are jumping just beyond these trees, and the view would be beautiful!

This is a super cute little park that is off the beaten path so is never really crowded. It has restrooms and a nice little dog park too!
