As a property owner I would have to say,I love it here in Windmill Village.As a visitor, I would have to say,I love it here in Windmill Village.It is a great place to live. It is a great place to visit. There are a fair number of snowbirds. Most leaving at the end of March, and certainly gone by the end of April.Lost of activities in the park to encourage social interaction. From cards to dice runs, dances and all kinds of stuff to get to know one another. Certainly difficult to not meet people....just a walk around and you are greeted with smiles and waves. Its just lovely.There is a great swimming pool and clubhouse, that can also be used for dances and parties. There were several here just in the last couple of weeks.You should be here if you are not already.Lots of new trailers for sale. Several used for sale that I saw, and a couple for rent... (shameless plug)

Close friend just bought a nice place here. Loves it. Very clean, friendly, and quiet. Close to grocery stores and restaurants.

Love it I am buying a house there and its a good village

Nice People, very relaxing, I moved in recently. Loving it so Far. It is life away from the busy city life. The approval process is very daunting, and at times unfair or confusing. But still overall a good place.

Friendly and open. Very clean and well kept but high lot fees. North Fort Myers is exploding with new business and new people moving down so all the costs have gone up. Windmill hasnt gone as far up as the rest but it will. Hopefully not too much.

My parents like living there and it has a lot of friendly people

I lived there for almost 10 years and would consider going back if I ever decide to sell my house. Its reasonably priced, nice amenities and I always felt safe there.

Great place to leave and friendly neighborhood. I wish the pool area will reopen again soon coz on of main reasons i move i used the clubs house and special the Hot tubs and pool areas as Therapy..thx Ms. Ghie.

Very well maintained and very friendly people

Seems like a nice quiet 55 and up community of manufactured homes. The only thin bff I dont like is the distance between sites. Neighbors on top of neighbors. Has a club house and courtyards for tennis and shuffle board.

Its a big place oh, but I did find the girl I went to visit. It didnt work out but thats nothing bad to be said about the place

The pool was cold. At least the hot tub worked this visit. The clubhouse was closed during our visit.

I live here nice neighbors.Ive been here for 17 years. Always improving the community. Looking to sell my place due to illness.... After 17 years you get to know alot of people.

My grandmother lives here. It isnt a 55 or over park thats for sure. Lots of druggies have migrated there in the last few years. Not a good place to live and retire at. New owners and no new changes for the better.. its sad

Windmill Village provides a great activity room lots of things to do that they have planned the swimming pool and hot tub is an added bonus the gyms pretty decent definitely get a workout during season we have security crime rate very low in this Village children are permitted to visit theyre not permitted to move in and stay without prior approval from the office pets are allowed

Living in Windmill Village is the worst experience of my life. I loved the mobile home, loved the neighbors and found it to be a quaint, wonderful place to live. Equity Lifestyle Properties - the corporation that owns the property - is another matter altogether.. I had roof leaks which breached the outside dining room wall and caused mold on the ceiling and wet carpet. Management walked through it, took pictures and never remediated it. I had to do my own testing of the place, which found DNA mold spores in the air. I now have those mold spores in my blood stream and am very sick. Management offered to let me out of my lease, but only if I signed a release with them giving me a whopping $2,250. (Thanks a lot!) I now live with family and friends and am trying to bat my own medical bills. When I wouldnt sign the release they ignored me. I will be forced to litigate to be able to pay what may be lifelong medical bills as a result of their negligence. NEVER get involved with these people. The neighbors are great, but its not worth taking a chance with the owners.

Well Im kind of biased because I do live here but it is a nice place to live. Its quiet and well kept and theres a real sense of community.

UPDATE!The people I spoke of below was removed a few months ago and everything appears to be much better.I was reading the reviews and saw they evicted a child with cancer! How come they wont evict the young felon living next to my grandmother in house 104? This felon has already been caught stealing from the neighbors and reported by neighbors my grandma has to double lock everything up when she never usto! Not only is he a theif but he does drugs and I am not talking about marijuana you can see him tweeking through out the day in Im assuming his fathers yard? My grandmother complains constantly to me about the screaming coming from the house and loud noises that sound like someone being slammed into walls! My grandmother told me not only does he live there but his girlfriend does too! Windmill village if you want this review removed you will have to remove the crackhead making my grandma feel unsafe in her own home.

It would make it much easier to plan your day if they notified you that the water would be shut off before they shut it off instead of after. And no this is not a one time thing.

Stay Away! Used to be a nice place to live. Well managed, nice neighbors, etc. Now....they only care about collecting their rent. They treat the bad tenants with respect and the good ones? Well, we move! Lot rents keep going up and the place keeps going down...down...down...... Stay Away!

Cost to much for lot rent. I can purchase and other parks and I have an association fee which runs anywhere from $67 a month to 350 a month

An older park with older homes with a nice pool area

They break all the rules, dont care about renters. BINGO is nice on Tuesdays.

Pay for sewage when we havent had water during the day for four weeks. Thank my rent and add-ons are way too much money for this part

I was going to bring my grandmother here but then I realized that she is 54 and 3/4 years old so she would not be admitted. Sorry grandma.

Dont ever move in here they keep raising the rent every month and they dont fix nothing very even have a lawsuit against them
