The place is always on point so great to see them open after Covid. We can surely use the visit from you. We know contact and interactions are very limited with the beautiful creatures. We understand why. The gift shop is open and I was very happy Superheroes of Service childrens book is on the shelves. I highly recommend this book knowing with the racial tensions going on in our country now, this book is perfect for your third, four, and gift graders. It is very service driven and champion service learning. Get a copy for your family.

We had such a nice time here. The was adequate staffing and they were all friendly. Theres plenty of animals and their habitats were very well kept.And its really cool how inexpensive EPZ is. They even offer free days.Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Such a fun experience for adults and kids alike. Summer, spring, winter and fall the zoo is open and packs a day of adventure and fun for a low low price. Definitely see animals here that you wont see at phila. Zoo. Also the environment feels very family like. In terms of how the keepers take care of the animals like they are their own. Go and check it out!

The staff members are kind and helpful. The place looks beautiful and ever changing. The animals do seem to be cared for with love and compassion. The food is a little expensive but good so its worth it.

The grands had fun, needs more sanitizing stops!

This place was fun. Came here with friends. Dont expect wild zip lining rides. This is more for beginners who want to have fun.

Great helpful staff and a fun activity for kids & adults! After a quick training for how to use the equipment, you are mostly on your own to go through the course (we did the Zoofari course). It seemed expensive at first, but I understand why after doing it because there is a lot that goes into the course. It’s worth it for feeling safe and having all of the employees there. I would return, especially if they offer Groupon again or if I become a zoo member.

It was pretty fun. Staff were rude. Might go again?

Treetop adventures is super fun. Whenever we go to the zoo we take some time to play around up there. Thanks for such a great experience!

Amazing place the kids had so much fun

My 7 year old had a great time doing this. He did the introductory level course which is not too far off the ground, maybe 5 to 6 feet at most places along the course. I could walk along with him and encourage him throughout. Wasnt too scary for him. A good intro to ziplining.

Very fun for the kids. Great staff, but they seem like they dont have enough help. I cant wait to try it for myself next time!

We went to the Wine Safari at Elmwood Park Zoo. We had the best time! A lovely crowd, great live music, delicious wines and an amazing catered dinner. I went with my daughter in law and her best friend. Got to enjoy the zoo in the evening/ at night. Very leisurely evening of roaming around the park. It was great fun, local vendors got to show their wares and it is also a fundraiser for the zoo. A wonderful, fun evening!

Nice place geared to a young family.

Took my girlfriend here for our anniversary. We both had such an amazing time here. Guide was so helpful and very pleasant. If your looking for a thrilling date with a loved one or seeing if that special person is someone thats a keeper this is the place.

Great experience for the little ones.

I went here with a group a children with special needs. The staff were amazing with the kids. Very accommodating to their individual needs! The kids had a great time and were kept safe throughout. I just wish I could have zip lined too!

I purchased a Groupon for my four-year-old and I think it was the best decision of my life. Our instructor was amazing and he helped my son. It was a little scary at first but after the second obstacle it was okay. It was very safe and it was worth the price. We ended up going on a very hot day but we didnt even feel the heat because we were under the shade. He had so much fun and he would love to do it again

My neice and nephew needed an adult to go with them... It was so fun! Guides were amazing and it was a blast to zip over the bison.

So family friendly! We love that we can pack a lunch and find a pavilion to eat it under. The kids love the playground after seeing all the animals too!

I took my daughter here for her 35th birthday, to feed the giraffes. The zoo, and the tree top adventures was nice. Although I thought it was way too expensive, for the rope climbing.

Nice spot nestled within Elmwood Park Zoo with a variety of options for people of various ages.

2 levels. Lower for the kids. About 4 feet off the ground. Price was great. About 13 dollars. Lasted about 20 minutes with 2 zip lines. I walked along side them and was able to help them thru. Staff was helpful and treetop adventure was very safe. Kids had alot of fun.

Really great place for young kids. It isnt super busy (we went on a saturday) so there is plenty of room to see each animal. The kids loves the playground and it was nice to break up the observing with some playtime. I have 3 kids ages 1, 3, and 10. I was comfortable taking the trip alone. Parking is free but a little limited. The food is pricey there but you can pack your own lunch. Id look up the feeding schedule ahead of time. We got there in between and missed most of them.

Challenging and exciting. Lots of fun high up in the trees. The night adventure was a great first experience.

Amazing. Grandchildren ages 11 and 13 gave it a 10. Really loved it. They did an hour w a guide; really awesome. They are still talking about the trek!!

My family loves the zoo and this Zipline setup. My son goes Everytime. Their very patient with the kiddos. Good pricing for kids. Long course and even larger course for adults.

Had a blast, but Im not physically fit for it. Lol

A little pricey but was fun to watch my niece on the Cub Climber course. Definitely felt safe but fun.

Cool experience and enjoyed the rush on the ziplines. I tried the Elk Expedition and was not too difficult. There is much introduction to the safety hook systems so listen up to an earlier group to get a handle on it. There were three zips on the Elk and has a soft mat if you dont brake in time!

I took my mother here and my granddaughter it was really neat to see and feed them but they eat the lettuce is best and youre not allowed to touch them but its nice being up and close to a giraffe

Okay place for the money they charge ($20 for adult and 14 for kid) . The lights are good in a couple of places but otherwise there is not much there. We were done in less than an hour, kids did not find it much appealing. This is just my opinion.

Went here on my first wedding anniversary trip. Got a good deal on Groupon and got the ziplines all to ourselves because it was a cold day. Such a fun experience and faced my fears. Looking forward to going back this year.!

Went here with my 3 year old brother and ive gotta say for the price... pretty damn good

A lot of fun, instructions were clear, those helping with the course were very nice and seemed knowledgeable.Only problem, once the course is started you are unable to get water. Though its only 1 to 1.5 hours, it gets pretty hot.

I didnt try the treetop adventures because it was to expensive for me and my grandson, and he was required to have an adult to do it.

Guides are friendly. After the instruction, you are pretty much on your own. Completed the longer course and it was challenging enough that I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone not in decent shape. This is more of a treetop obstacle course than just zip-lines. The ending of the course was a little odd landing near the kids play area in the zoo then having to walk back to where we started. Not well marked.

Norristowns Elmwood park was our destination but we found the Bocci Courts so pleasant (and free) that we spent a pleasant day enjoying the Spring blooms. Picture using Google lens helped to identify the wildflowers.

Elmwood zoo is just the right size for an outting with small children.
