First time here, my sons choice for his 21st Birthday. Thursday trivia night and we won! Good beer selection, Happy hour! Food was good! Bar tender was amazing, one of the best I have experienced in some time. He not only took drink orders, he took food orders as well. We will come back!

Brought my 13 yr old here as he loves retro video games. Nice selection of stand-up games. 2 skee ball, air hockey and 6 to 10 pinball. A couple of newer multiplay, one Packman on a large screen plays 4. Fun memorabilia and cool lighting. Outdoor (enclosed) eating and outdoor air eating. Two levels and parking in back and front. I gave it a 4 because their food was really pricey. Hot dog starts at $12, albeit a footlong. Apps and wings around $12 as well. Nice place, clean with friendly staff.

As a bar with arcade games, this place is great. Good music, great atmosphere, and great games to play. Most are only 25¢ and none more than $1.However, the food isn’t something to be super excited about. I’d suggest sticking to the normal bar food and sides. They have a lot of cute ideas that aren’t executed very well.

This place is an absolute blast. Lots of special themed events. The staff are excellent and have a great knowledge of beer, spirits and food. The menu also provides vegan and vegetarian dishes. PIXELS also has a large game room with new and classic game titles from your childhood.

I LOVE this place!! From the friendly, laid back, yet attentive staff to the fun games and nostaligic atmosphere that still adds something new to your evening. 10/10 would recommend.

This place is a great spot to have some drinks and hangout. They have a variety of pinball machines and arcade cabinets, and the bartender upstairs was phenomenal.

Let me start out by saying Heidi was my bartender for the night.. and she’s absolutely AMAZING. I have visited a lot of bars (don’t judge) and she is by far the most attentive bartender I have ever met at one of the local bars. With music blaring from the live band, which was also amazing, it’s as if she read my lips to take my drink orders. She was there every time I was ready to place a new order.The environment, the band (Red Stapler Duo), and the drinks make this the perfect place to bring a first date or just relax and enjoy the atmosphere with your friends. You won’t regret stopping by!

Great food and cocktail menu. The food menu has lots of vegan options and plenty of meat. We got the tofu fries, buffalo chicken sandwich, and short rib sloppy joe with Mac n cheese and sweet potato salad for sides. All great! The staff is friendly and attentive. Lots of beers on tap and tons of classic arcade and pinball games.

The food was fresh and the games were awesome. Took the kids and they had a great time. Most of the games are old school arcade plus pinball, air hockey, ski ball, even board games. We loved it!

Great environment for family with kids. You can definitely chill and relax while gaming on retro systems. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants good food, chill atmosphere, and drinks!

Norfolk finally has a barcade! It is a fun place with a great beer and 40 selection. I was there on a Saturday night and it was busy which made getting to the game difficult. Seems like they could do with a few less tables and more games.

This place is within walking distance of my apartment which is amazing. Went there for my birthday this last weekend and had a blast. The place was packed but the staff seemed to be managing it really well and still gave great and quick service with lines of people!! I didnt try the food yet but I keep hearing amazing things about it so Ill definitely be getting some grub the next time we go.

I was quite sad to see that Belmont House of Smoke had been closed down but Im pleased about what was put in its place. My girlfriend and I had the smash Burger which was beyond outstanding. The fries were perfect and the beer selection was great. The atmosphere is laid back and loud but what would you expect from a restaurant with a FULL arcade inside.

Cool spot for fun with friends or a date night. The food was pretty good, nothing spectacular. The GTFOH tatertots were pretty good, wish the tots were crisper. The burger left more to be desired, you couldnt even see the beef patty it was so small, it was mostly bun. The ranch doesnt taste like ranch, more like a garlic tzatziki sauce. The south philly sandwich was good, that sharp provolone was perfect, but again the bun was too big for the ratio of meat. There were no draft beer prices listed which makes it a surprise on your tab which I was not a fan of. It was nice that you could just buy tokens on your tab. Most games were only 1 token. Only a few multi player games. Overall a fun time.

Arrived and had a cold walk to the front door. For a Friday night, it seemed pretty relaxed with a small amount of patrons which was lucky for me since I dont really like very large crowds at bars. Old arcade cabinets and pinball lines the left side of the downstairs dining area, complete with its own bar and a staircase leading up to another, larger bar with much more pinball machines and a few more arcade cabinets. It didnt seem like there were very many if them, but as I kept walking around I found more and more games which pleased me.There is a large room filled with cabinets, one side dedicated to co-op games like Mortal Kombat and TMNT and the other to more classic ones like Pac-Man and Centipede. There is a skee-ball area which we definitely got good at while we played around with the games.We were greeted by a nice server who promptly brought us water and menus (themed with video game inspired names for dishes). We ordered a mozzarella stick basket (5 sticks) which came with fries and instead of marinara, a penne sauce for dipping, which was very tasty. We both had the burger with fries for our entree and it was pretty run of the mill for a cheeseburger.I opted for a double smash bacon cheeseburger (smoked Gouda) with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mushrooms and grilled onions. It arrived with a toasted bun and toothpick holding my toppings in place with a lot of fries on the side. after taking a few bites, I noticed my mushrooms and grilled onions were absent from the burger, but thats okay I was so hungry I didnt mind. I was not charged for them so I cant complain. 7/10 burger Id order again.The fries were good, cut with the skin on, giving a nice texture to them. I could see some complain about the amount of salt on the fries, large flakes clearly visible on them. I thought they were good, but order with reduced or no salt if thats not something you can handle.I recommend visiting this establishment if you enjoy retro games (theyre only a quarter a play which is very very reasonable) and pinball and booze. Seems like I could spend a lot of time here and I very well may.

A cool place with a lot of vintage video games and a full bar. Went for brunch and the food was okay, with just a couple light/meat-free options. If youre looking for large portions of eggs and pork, this is the brunch spot for you. The staff was extremely friendly and seemed vested in us having a good time.

Want to start with how clean the facility was and attentive, friendly staff! but DO NOT order food or cocktails with any high expectations. Portions do not match price nor does quality. Very much like school cafeteria food and that might be generous. Super cheap (ie. chicken patty and smash patty). Cocktails weak and watered down. Come here and just get a draft beer and play some games, nothing more.

Got an chance to experience coming here and definitely worth the time to go and enjoy some old school gaming especially with friends too. Only did one game at the time we were there and then ate afterwards. The food was great and staff were helpful too. Definitely going to go back at some point and experience some more games.

A lot of the games feel like clones of original cabinets. The drinks are good, and the staff is great. I enjoy my times there.

We came here after kickball because its one of our sponsor bars. This was my first time here, so maybe the experience is skewed, given they were probably busier than expected on a Thursday. But the service was quite slow, took a while to get my friends SALAD after others had gotten their burgers and chili cheese fries. And anytime we wanted another drink, took forever. Once I just went up to the bar and ordered it myself. The games are fun, and the atmosphere is very relaxed, and there is a lot of space. We will definitely at least give the place another chance.

Tasty! Service could be better but great games and food. Menu changes on weekends, so if youre vegan I suggest coming weekdays because theres only one vegan option on the weekend brunch menu. (Though it does look delicious)

Went on a saturday night, parking can be an issue but the bathrooms were clean, the service was pleasant and the games were varied. Packed house but still easily able to get to a game.

Absolutely fantastic! It feels like an arcade all grown up with a chill atmosphere, good ambience, and pretty good food. I ordered the 12 count wings which was just enough to fill me up. The games are also reasonably priced with most of them coming in at around 25 cents per play. But the best thing was our server Alex. She accommodated our special requests and allowed us to get the nachos with pork rinds in stead of fries or tots. I would certainly recommend checking this place out.

Very cool barcade. We were entertained by an amazing mentalist while waiting on our appetizer. Totally blown away by the mind tricks and food. Good selection of old school arcade games and pinball machines.

Pretty fun place to hang out with friends, grab some drinks and eat bar food. The games are vintage and much cheaper than other popular arcades. There were a fair amount of people there on a Saturday night but games werent being hogged and almost all of them worked well.

This spot is great. Awesome workers, calm atmosphere. Will be my spot for sure since I moved to VA I feel a little of home which is Philly.

I just realized I give 5 stars too often. Wish there was a 6th star for Pixels! This is a gen-Xers dream come true, and a swell spot for reto-keen hipsters and millennials. Great food. Great drinks. Cool 80s and 90s arcade games. All. Under. One. Roof! This is a spot for grownups who still like to have fun! Beer selection is worthy. I kinda wanna just live in this place.

Great concept and service, but the menu was very lacking. I think they tried to get too creative with their options. Its good to be creative, but have a few tried and true options. The wings were good, the burger was ok...but they could use a better quality patty. But the games were great and old school priced (25 cents).

My brother and I went there for the first time Saturday had a great time. The service time didn’t bother us because they are not robots. The raisin ketchup was excellent and will be back. Everyone has different experiences there just don’t bother me about yours, I like it and will be back soon.

I give it a one star based on food. I was there with 6 friends we all ordered a different dish and no one was pleased. As for the drinking and games we had fun.

This place flat-out rocks. Feels like a much better run & locally-owned Dave & Busters.Pros:Menu- fairly priced, a lot of diversity/options despite being a relatively small menu.Food- everything Ive had has been perfectly cooked, never cold, and brought out way faster than I expected.Drinks- great spread. Lots of beer options (upstairs has more beer on tap than downstairs). Bartenders made drinks perfectly and seem to know every cocktail in existence.Staff- SUPER FAST! Friendly even when its packed. Great at multitasking.Games- $1=4 tokens. Most games are 1 or 2 tokens per play, so a little bit of money goes a long way. Pinball, air hockey, skee-ball, and at least 15-20+ arcade games. Downstairs, the bar has 6 controllers available so you can still sit at the bar and play games on the TVs behind the bar (which is brilliant).Cons:Its financially irresponsible to spend my entire paycheck here.Seriously, the owners knocked this one out of the park. 10/10 would recommend.

My girlfriend and I had a great time exploring the larger the expected selection of classic video and arcade games. The atmosphere is complemented well with good food and draft beers. This place is definitely worth a visit and I can see myself coming here way to often.

Great experience and service! The greasy spoon was amazing and dank af. The Irish creams were an amazing deal so you cant just have one! The service was fire. Super quick and friendly. The bartender Leamon is super friendly and has all the jokes.

The food was amazing!!! Wish they had more pinball games, but there was a good mix and the games are spread out. Even though it was crowded we didnt have to wait long to get food, drinks, or play games.Highly enjoyable cant wait to go back!

Would be 5 stars but they have Ms Pacman on the slow setting.Its a great place with plenty of fun games and friendly staff.But having Ms Pacman on the slow setting is the equivalent to murder.Can only recommend to people who dont care about Ms Pacman.

It was fine. The last time I was here this was Belmont, so take that for what its worth. The service was good and the the food was decent, but nothing really wowed me there. The video games were okay, but not really my thing. Skiball was awesome though. No Castlevania, so that sucked. It was fine.

Great games, great beer selection, but lets talk about the menu, basic! I know your trying to work a school cafeteria thing, but I feel its not working. This place should have a freaking awesome burger/fries but it does not. They are close with the Buffalo chicken sandwich thing, but really none of us ever really liked school food. It was meh, please please please adult your menu some. Otherwise I love your place.

Always love going to pixels, its honestly pretty cheap for all the food and drink you can get plus all the games you can play, its a great value! Never experienced any rudeness from the service or any bad experiences. Check it out on any weeknight or weekend, very great place in an awesome Location!

I came here and was surprise by how big it was and how many games there were there, the prices seemed okay, there was a bar tender who has pink dye on her hands serving me food and I asked to get some coins and payed for my drinks which was 15$ I gave her a 20$ bill and she did not even give me my change back just assumed the tip was for her when she did not even bring my drink for 20 minutes and seemed to not know how to handle a lot of people at the bar, my friend got some coins and used her card to pay and the same bartender automatically took her card and started a tab when my friend clearly did not want to do and once she got her card back, it got charged for drinks that were never ordered, it took 30 minutes to get her card back and they ran her card twice without refunding the first charge, they didn’t even get a manager, when the bartender came back up with the card she stated that she hated drunk people, it was very unprofessional and the fact that this bartender was serving food with dirty hand was ridiculous, when we called in the am to talk to a manager a server told us the manager was too busy to talk to us and said they were going to call us back but they never did, along with that most of the arcade games are a fluke and does not even let you play games it just shows you videos of the game and make you put in more coins, it is ridiculous, we are never coming back here, circuit in Richmond way better than this place, I do not understand why people like this place, I hope management has time to fix their issues.

Had a great time here. Took a little bit of time to get an order in, but once I did, it was out very quickly. Had to of my all time favorite arcades too....Ninja Turtles and Marvel vs. Capcom

Surprisingly affordable! The food was amazing and most of the games were only 1 token which was awesome. The game selection was pretty cool even though quite a few weren’t working. I do wish that there was a way to have more games because it was PACKED and unfortunately some people didn’t seem to notice that other people would like to play. Staff was very welcoming and friendly even through a really hectic rush however many of the guests were rude. Not saying excuse me, acting like you’re not even there when you say excuse me, running right into you or shooting dirty looks as you walk by and more. But seeing as it’s located in/around Ghent it’s to be expected. That’s no fault of the business though, really wish their kindness would rub off on their customers.

I enjoyed the vibe of the bar after reopening. It feels very similar to Belmont with the added arcade systems to add some entertainment to your night out. It doesn’t have a huge number of games, but enough to keep you interested.

Fun place lots of games most are one token to play. Didnt eat any food but what I saw looked good. You can plays games right at the bar on the TVs hanging on the wall. Will definetly go back. Lots of beer and drink selections too!
