Gameworks is a new barcade chain restaurant (national brand) with locations in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake which is slated to open a location in MacArthur center mall sometime in the February to March timeframe. The concept is familiar... VR & Video game place, credit/ticket based prizes, and slightly overpriced beer with simple bar food available. This place purports to plan to hist an esports league - so presumably League of Legends, DOTA, WOW, Destiny, etc. As always the concept is interesting and amusing, and its all about the execution. Well see what comes.
