Fun location!! They have full wine tastings, beer flights and wine slushes. When youre done, walk around and see the animals. Michael, one of the owners, gave us a personal tour of the day-old bunnies and introduced us to the other animals; were now on first name basis with them (!) Theres a treasure hunt for the kids (they have to find coins hidden throughout). We had a great time!
Really good wine. For those that like dry in the area and can never find a dry wine being in Muscadine country. It is a bastion of awesomeness. Their drys are that. Their sweets are also naturally sweet. They do not add any sugar. They stop the fermentation process early, thus reducing alcohol content, but keeping the taste amazing.
Such a great spot. It is like visiting a friends house. Great beer and wine selection. You are free to roam the property. There are several farm animals to see. All the staff were very friendly too.
Thursday night. Catawba Farms. Bring your own chair, sit outside and enjoy music - all for free. Of course we always enjoy a glass of wine or wine slushy or a craft beer and food from Treys food truck delivered to your chair. Restrooms inside the tasting room. Beautiful grounds. Picnic tables throughout. Check out their website for all the othet activities
It was ok... They are new and still establishing themselves. No gift shop or ombionce to speak of. They have a self guided tour and some farm animals (did not do that part so cant comment on it). Prices for the tasting was very reasonable and they had some outstanding wines.
Lots more than wine!!! Great spot. Lots of picnic tables spread out on the property to enable social distancing!! The slushies are yummy!!! We enjoyed the Animals!!!
I don’t often write reviews but this place deserves one. We had such a good time. The staff, food and drinks were amazing. I was concerned about how crowded it would be but the picnic tables outside we’re spaced apart and you didn’t feel on top of each other. I’ll definitely be going back .
Went for a wine tasting really found a lot to like there and brought a nice assortment back home nice visit
Pleasant atmosphere and good wine and food and a separate section with a menagerie of pets too
Scenery and dogs were nice, and food was good, but beer and wine was a little underwhelming, and they weren’t enforcing their mandatory mask-wearing policy which made me super uncomfortable. One of the servers was serving food without a mask.
Wonderful relaxing environment, several areas and patio outside, large well appointed tasting room. Also were greeted and served by extremly courteous and amenable staff. The beer selection ranged from IPA to a very good stout and also a fairly diverse wine selection. We stayed to eat but left before their regularly scheduled Thursday evening music session with a local group.
The staff was amazing and so helpful!! A cute little spot to relax in the evening. We did the wine tasting followed by the beer tasting and took a slushie to sip on while walking around the farm. Will definitely be back!
Poor service and the staff is not that friendly or knowledgeable of the wines. Beer is also lacking. I didnt see any of the animals while we were there either. Definitely not impressed.
We had a nice time here - great place
I love this place, so open nice and friendly staff great wine and beer. Okay place to bring your kids as wellI love this place!
Absolutely loved our visit. Large space inside and out with seating. Pricing was affordable. Good wine. Lots of selection. Beer and food available. Staff was nice. Huge farm with animals and a pond. Clean restrooms. Cant wait to go back!
We have visited multiple times and have always had a wonderful experience. Great wine, very family friendly, and such a welcoming staff. Highly recommend!
Great place. Nice wines!
We had a fine time while visiting, but the trouble came when we got home with the bottle of wine we purchased. Took off the top foil and found mold all along the cork and inner ridge of the bottle. When I called to tell then, the worker said oh thats normal from the moisture... Ive never opened a bottle of wine before to find mold in it... Wont be back.
It is beautiful and such sweet people
Absolutely fantastic service! Friendly and accommodating . Visited with a 1 & 2 year old, they had toys for the kiddos to play with and were overly understanding. Wines were amazing, and beer was delicious. We did not stay at their inn, bed and breakfast, because we were not aware they had one, but will definitely be coming back to visit!!! Thank you for your hospitality, I wish everyone did business like this!
Good food and excellent wine n
Attended a New Years dinner here. The food was off the chart. The staff was the nicest you could ask for and they were well informed about a wide variety of subjects, which made it pleasant conversing with them.
This was such a nice place to visit. Catawba Farms certainly does not disappoint. They truly offer something unique for a winery. The facility is superb, but my favorite part will always be the animals.
We had the most wonderful afternoon ! The wine the atmosphere the beauty. Friendly warm and welcoming people and animals especially when you gave the animals treats. We will see you all again ! Thank you !
This place is amazing! Best new place in Catawba county. Wine is great, just started brewing craft beer that is superb. Grab a glass and walk around the farm. Feed the peacocks, watch the goats and pigs. Take a tour of the old Belgium horse barn. Dont miss this place!
Great food.....
Very nice. Things for kids while parents enjoy food and drink. Food was delicious.
New vineyard and the wine was great. Plus Mike one of the owners gave us lots of info on the farm along with the peacocks showing off. I must visit.
Got to meet other wonderful customers, and though very kind, the person doing samples fir cystomers was not strongly knowledged on the wines/blends/finishes.
Good wines. Loved petting the animals.
Good music, good food, Catawba Farms own beer and wine. Perfect day!
Such a nice staff, and delicious beer and wine!
Awesome wine and awesome people!!!! Definitely worth the visit!
My family and I had one of the funnest days there!!
