Nice flat park for my son to place ultimate frisbee.
This is a small, unassuming neighborhood park next to a school (it is possible the school uses the park / playground for recess or other activities, Ive never been around during the day to know). There are several ways into the park - an opening by the baseball field backstop, stairs down from Jackson Street, a passage from Lincoln Eliot Elementary Schools blacktop, a path at the end of Pond street (it looks like someones driveway, but dont be fooled!)During COVID-19 quarantine this has been a treasure. As Ive strolled by on walks to get some fresh air Ive seen all of the following: kite flying, remote control car driving, fathers and sons tossing a baseball, a pair volleyball setting practice, small groups socially distanced on separate blankets, small children on scooters getting some wiggles out.As things have begun to reopen it has been fun to see the swings be used and pick up basketball return.
Grass field. Not completely flat, but sufficient. Was here March, so grass hasn’t grown yet to determine quality height etc. Stairs leading down from the street to the field are damaged. Basketball court is fenced in.No admittance after dark
Not well kept
