The quilt is very comfortable. Public areas are awesome. Parking fee is too expensive: $35 per day and I can’t park my car by myself, so every time I need use my car I had to wait for about 5 to 8 minuets and give the guy tips. Restroom is big and there is a stool. Room802 one bed,and it is so small. 2017 is great. Two beds room.
Hotel is nice. Service is excellent. Mattresses are new so they are very hard. Not comfortable at all. The hotel rooms could use some updates. Great location. I have loved this hotel for many years, but more as a Four Seasons
Im impressed with the quality of the hotel. The attendants are helpful and friendly, room service was prompt, breakfast was delivered to the room and everything was very good, the eggs were as requested. The outside are is very spacious and pleasant, its possible to enjoy a good drink by the pool or in a more reserved area, inside the hotel has a nice bar, Wi-Fi is free. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
Had a great corner room....... bedroom and separate sitting room with great views. However, room was next to elevator and we could hear noise all night. Bed was hard as a rock and bedding was made from crackling material.....most uncomfortable. Tiny martinis at the bar. Room service was good and the valet staff was great. Location is excellent but well likely stay somewhere else next time. Has been one of my favorite hotels over the years.
Expensive but worth it. Great customer service nice pool. Room service fast and easy food is fresh! I wish I could give more than five stars! We happened to be celebrating my daughters 13 birthday during our trip. I mentioned Id like a piece of cake to come to our room. Look! Above and beyond for the staff!! As one review said if you like service then this hotel as it As soon as I drove up we were greeted in a welcoming manner. The check in was simple and fast so we could enjoy what the hotel had to offer! The location being minutes away from the beach and the mall if you just want to escape and just relax there are so many things to do around the hotel. I dont typically order room service because I find the service to be overpriced for the quality of food which I also find to be average but since it was Mothers day the mom wanted room service how could I say no? So we ordered a salad and a quesadilla with guacamole. When the food came the guacamole was not fresh it was brown. When I called for the them to pick up the table. When the guy arrived he asked how was everything and my mom told him. He asked if he could bring another dish. Since the dish was half eaten we said that was ok. 20 minutes later they brought another quesadilla for us and that made my mom so happy. Good job Fashion Island hotel. But next time Ill take an uber cause its valet only and it was $35. So if you are driving make sure to bring that extra money. Other than those two things Ill be back!
Went here for Easter buffet. It was great. I didn’t actually see the rooms, but service, food, et cetera was amazing! Hope I stay here again soon!
Hotel is dated needs an update. Lunch service in main dining room slow. Staff every where but had to get up an get some one to wait on us. Club lounge needs more imaginative offerings for breakfast and cocktail hour. Wife rated Hotel as a 7.5 I rated it as a 8.2.
This is a nice hotel in the Newport Area. The pool area is great and you can bring drinks from outside (no glass though). Its right next to the Fashion Island shopping centre making it handy for a shop or visit to a restaurant.

My home away from home in Newport! I love the staff, Oak Grill Restaurant - they have the absolute best Tuna poke. Proximity to Fashion island is awesome - I always walk over to shop and workout when I’m staying here.
Valet = $20 a night for visitorsHotel staff was outstanding and professional in all aspects of their job. A couple of things could have been better like 4mb speed WiFi lol and the fact they didn’t have any USB ports for charging but I probably sound a little spoiled saying that.
We are in a large suite and we had to wait nearly an hour to get into the suite last night. The keys didnt work for 3 days in a row. Its frustrating, even security couldnt get us in the room a few times...finally we got in. The rooms are nice once you get in.

Had a great Brunch experience here on a Sunday. Super relaxing. Not a lot of people. Pecan French toast was amazing. Everything here is great including the service.

Hotel is nice but my only complaint is that the pillows are too thick and hard. My queen bed had 4 pillows and they all had the same size. Instead, I wish 2 are smaller for people who prefer lesser elevation.I really like the Hyatt mattresses and pillows.

Nice hotel. Clean. Good service, great view. Very clean, the pool is decent but the shape is hard for the heights. Free WiFi with 5mbps. TV is pretty good, along with the bed and chair. The desk is suitable for decent work. Theres many shops and places around. The balcony is very small. The height of the hotel is very very tall.
Lunch at the pool patio for under $9? Unbelievably true with a great variety of menu items. The place to go for quick individual dining and also groups of eight or more in a pleasant casual outdoor venue.
This hotel is amazing! Within walking distance of fashion island, nice rooms with great views. Large pool and a great place to lay out. Definitely a must if youre visiting Newport Beach. While your here check out the blue chair bakery. Best Cinnabons in California.

We visited the outside fire pit and had chips, salsa, drinks and live music; does life get any better? Anyways, the drinks were on point, the chips and salsa were delicious and the live music was outstanding. Theres an added convenience of the mall across the street. Dont forget your swimsuit.
Huntington is a great hotel. Stayed here with friends while they were in town (even though I live in SF) and we had a great suite and staff was friendly and accommodating, even when we broke the rules and had too many people in the room. Nice panoramic views of the city and well-situated in Nob Hill.

The whole property is beautiful! The staff is very helpful. The conference food was wonderful, and Ive had quite a bit of conference food. Make sure you have their avacodo toast! We had it as part of the breakfast bar for our conference. They make a sweet little chef salad in a small fish bowl - delish. You have got to have their bacon, too! Plan to spend time by the pool and hot tub. The fire place is perfect for a quiet talk. This is a place to quiet your inner monkey mind. Plan to relax.
I have been going to this place for several years the lobby and the restaurants are good but the rooms look dated the amenities minimal the toilet kept leaking water you had to readjust it and overall was there not so satisfying Stay
My husband and I stay here every time we visit Newport without our little ones, I just feel like it’s not so much of a “family” hotel but we love it here. If I had to complain about anything it would be their pillows but that is pretty much it! The employees are wonderful and the location is great!

This hotel is GORGEOUS. The pool area was a dream, restaurant was pricey but you get what you pay for and the food was to die for. But there was also a cheaper express lunch option available. Room was beyond comfortable. I didn’t want to leave the bed. Service was exceptional. Every person we met was beyond helpful and kind. Will definitely be returning.
Fantastic Hotel. Beautifully appointed Rooms, great view of the pool, Fashion Island and Ocean from the 8th floor. 2 day work session and all catered lunches and breakfasts were absolutely delicious. I cant say that for all the places we have had business meetings. Comfortable beds No wear or tear in any aspect of the rooms. Bars were comfortable and great selection.
Hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant. We payed over 300.00/night for our room. This hotel is next to a mall and miles from the ocean. The downside was when we checked out and they added a 30.00 resort fee and a 35.00 parking fee. When you include taxes, you are paying an extra 70.00 per night. I will not return to hotels that take advantage of adding exorbitant fees to the bill.
The Island Hotel is the hotel of choice for me when staying in Newport Beach. The proximity to shops, beach and the airport are second to none.The view is exceptional, only surpassed by the staff and their desire to provide the ultimate experience. Which they did is spades.The Island Club is my favorite way to enjoy the evening after work. I recommend you use this feature!Thank you Island Hotel for a 5-star experience.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Our trip was a mixture of business and pleasure. Stayed 6 nights and well be back. I would recommend a corner coastal suite. Also, take advantage of the Island Club on the 20th floor. Viktor and the whole staff are fantastic. Thank you for a great stay!
Beautiful location, however the valet attendant screamed at us repeatedly prior to us entering the hotel. Overall it was a stressful and horrible experience.

A bit disappointed they tried ro give me a room without a tv because their issues. No discounts offered due to the service. Also I accidentally left my flat iron in the room and called they dont have it. Would be willing to try again.

They always have the nicest Christmas decorations. the smell of that real gingerbread house really makes spending Christmas time there all the sweeter. All the staff is courteous friendly and willing to help. Highly recommend

Conveniently located next to fashion island, the beach, and a stone throw away from other shopping centers makes for a spectacular weekend getaway with your family, friends, or business partners. We enjoyed the hotels location. It was great to be walking distance to Fashion Island. Our room had a nice view of the ocean and the private golf course. Although you cant walk to the beach its very easy to drive there and enjoy the surf and the sand. The pool was crowded but felt homey with a family friendly environment. The kids enjoyed the ping ping table right off of the pool.

Loved loved loved this hotel. Absolutely amazing. They will charge u 30bucks more for a higher level with better view and it’s absolutely worth the money u pay. The service is truly 5 star. I thank the management for everything. Highly recommend it. It’s expensive but well worth it.

Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Room service was extremely fast and always cooked properly and fresh. Prices were high as expected. This hotel features nightly entertainment and seemed to be very busy entertaining many guests. The hotel over looks a nice fashion square. Known for its shopping and good eats. The hotel is beautiful and the room was very nice. My only complaint would have been the dirty bed in our room. We didnt need it but the sheets very clearly needed washed and contained someone elses hair. Other then that the service we received were very enjoyed. We will be back.

The hotel room is large enough and quite nice. Id like to give the place 5 stars but there were a couple of problems with the room that we shared with them upon checkout and their response was subpar (see below for more). Other than that, we really like the place. Its a little dated but overall well kept. We were there for an event and the food was great and the event went off without a hitch. Work on the issues below and its 5 stars.The desk person argued with us a little on the first issue, telling us we werent doing something right but the arguement was irrelevant to the issue at hand (the remote for the TV didnt work with the volume and we had to adjust the volume by hand on the TV. He tried telling us it was the Bose system that handled the volume for the TV and that was our problem but that made no sense considering we could adjust it on the TV but it was only the remote buttons that didnt work) and the tub didnt drain. This one bothers me more because the housekeeping person shouldve been able to easily see this when cleaning the shower. It literally took 5 times as long to drain as the shower lasted. My wife finished getting ready for our evening semi-formal event before the shower finished draining. The desk person didnt apologize for this, just thanked us for informing him. The service felt a little lacking here considering housekeeping ignored the issue and the front desk glossed over it like it was nothing.

Big Scam! Booked over the phone a seaview suite that has separate living and bedroom areas, when we arrived the room had neither feature. We left without even checking in, and now they r billing me for it! Unbelievable. And when i called, they refused to address the fact that it wasnt the same room described.Worst experience at a hotel ever!Make it right
