Besides the Dome, this is one of my favorite theaters. I love the atmosphere of the individual theaters, it doesnt feel cramped, the darkest blue theme, and the whole venue itself. Highly recommend. For anyone who loves film, youll find THE LOT Fashion Island Presents films to be much appreciated if youve missed any old films, especially classics to be watched on the big screen, or to even rewatch some of your favorites from the past.

Restaurant and food quality are mediocre. Calamari was not fresh. The poke bowl was too small. Staff are nice but servers are hard to find. The screen quality in the cinema is mediocre. The seats are excellent. Overall not a bad experience.

Best movie theater ever! Full bar and food is great, you can watch football on the big screen as well. Theater is clean and you get full service while relaxing in a comfy lazy boy. Worth checking out or taking a date.

We stumbled upon this spot while visiting NPB. Amazing food & stiff drinks! Smoked Gouda Mac n cheese was well worth the $22. And the bonus was Wizard of Oz movie night. I will definitley come back again

I just went to watch Captain Marvel and I was amazed at the level of service the staff at the lot have. I have never been taking care of this good by so many different people, they made me feel literally like a king, from the most minimal things while talking at the bar during some drinks, to the concession stand to the food we had during the movie the service was outstanding, I cant believe I have never been here before!! this is going to be a must from now on, I dont think I can enjoy a movie any other way, I really commend the staff for their great effort to make the movie watching experience a great one!

Best Luxury Movie Theatre hands down! Compared to others the service, the food, the drinks, and the seats are the best! Does the food compare to eating at some amazing restaurants... No, but compared to any other Luxury Movie Theatre’s it is the best. Spend the extra $7 and go to this movie theater. Well worth it!

This movie theater is excellent. The food. The service. The chairs are very comfortable. I love how the theaters are smaller there aren’t so many people. The ice cream and the guacamole are great!

Its a really nice theater and operation all together. I would have given them five stars however I purchased to top-shelf Martini drinks and was told that all their martini glasses were broken. $20 a pop they should have martini glasses. Just saying. Otherwise a great spot for date night.

First time here, it was awesome. There were a lot of options to choose from on their food and drink menus. The service just fabulous and there was little waiting time for our drinks and food to be delivered.

Not really anyone enforcing masks 8n walkways or social distancing. Also same issue with lines to get in stores.

This is the one of the most comfortable and most enjoyable (service, cleanliness...etc) places I’ve been to. The reclining seats and how spacious they are with in Theater food and drink service makes this a really special place.

Food is good, a little expensive for the quality, but tasty. Theater has comfortable recliners but is freezing. Considering they sell blankets for $20, the temp is probably set low on purpose. Well probably go back, but its not our first choice for dine-in theaters.

Dont get me wrong, the facility is immaculate. But 25 for a ticket so they can bring you food during the movie? Go to the AMC dine in instead. Just because something is in fashion island they made it even MORE expensive.

Very fancy movie theater. There is a botton on the seat that when you press it your sever comes and there is a verity of food they can bring you including sushi.

I have seen many movies here over the past year. The theatre experience and comfort of the chairs is wonderful. Unfortunately the service has gone way downhill!! When you arrive a little early to the movie so that you can order something to eat, there are no servers to be found. I have gone looking for a server in the hallway so that I may place an order. They tell me they are short staffed and busy with another theatre and will come closer to the my actual movie start time. Then they come to take my order after the previews are well under way and the food comes after my movie has started. I have missed important scenes in many movies because Im trying to order in the dark after the movie has started. Then the serving staff walk back in forth in front of me to take other orders in the theatre. Im lucky to get my food a third of the way into the movie which also interrupts my viewing as well as many other people. PLEASE, Management, have enough staff working so that we can order food in time to watch the movie without so many interruptions.

I reserved seats for a movie well in advance of the event. I opted for seats in the back row as I was going with my parents, both of whom are in their late 70’s. I am not exaggerating when I say that the speakers were within 1 foot of my head, my left ear more specifically. It was an entirely untenable movie viewing experience. It was so loud and unpleasant that we didn’t make it through the previews. I cannot fathom what they were thinking with that design. Redeeming the experience was the politeness and attentiveness of the staff. I got a refund. I may give them a try again in the future, just not in the back row.

It doesnt get any better than this movie theater. The service, the ambiance. the food/drinks from your seat, ugh the seats! Every movie experience here is enjoyed thoroughly.

It will be hard to go back to a normal theater. This is the best place to watch a movie in an area with a ton of competition. Superb dining experience as well.

Service from Claudia was great and the food was awesome! I ordered the new chopped Cesar salad with chicken as she suggested. I will definitely be back soon.

Mixed feelings! The theater is fantastic, it’s definitely my favorite place to see a movie. BUT, sadly, the popcorn is ALWAYS stale & though the servers are nice, it takes forever to get your order. They really need more help! You are far better off just getting the food yourself.

If you want to see a movie in comfort and have a cocktail and/or food while youre at it, this is the place to go! Quality sound,/video, and not a bad espresso martini, ha ha... have fun!

The Lot is my favorite luxury theater. The food is fantastic. One star short because no one was monitoring our theater. I had to ask a patron to turn their phone screen off.

Great way & place to spend an evening. They offer the most current release .movies & films. Really nice restaurant & bar area to hang out in before going to watch a movie there. The food & drinks were delicious!Kevin the manager there was very helpful & accommodating! Cant wait to go back again.

An awesome place to chill and relax on the weekends, the movie theater is top of the line and comfortable with all the amenities you want, the food and seats are a bit pricey but other than that the experience is wonderful.

Seats are nice. Waiters run up and down and are very distracting. Popcorn took 30 minutes to deliver and was cold and old. What is the worst part is the people on their phones. I am just so over the people that think they can be on their phones during a movie. Can you just turn them off and enjoy the movie the screens are distracting to others.

The movie theater is nice enough but the popcorn was AWFUL. We ordered the $9 bucket of popcorn with butter. The bucket was small (for $9!) and it had virtually zero taste. It was like eating Styrofoam. Get better quality popcorn and add some butter by golly!

My wife and I were here for our Anniversary, We had a wonder wonderful time. Food was great, then we went and saw #Aquaman had a drink while watching.. Crispy Fish Tacos in photo.

A luxury movie theater thats great for dates and drinks!

The theatre is comfy with spacious recalling seats, but the light bleeding on to the screen from the stairway emergency lights was very off-putting. The tickets here are expensive, so I expected a much better viewing experience...

This was my first time here really enjoyed it. The seats were incredibly comfortable and the service was amazing. The only negative thing I have to say is about the food. My friend and I decided to split something to eat and decided on the chicken sandwich...it wasnt good at all, it was so full of who knows what, we had no idea what was on it since we couldnt see anything. It was really spicy and on the soggy side. The French fries were done perfectly so it wasnt a total waste lol. They have a full bar with plenty of top shelf alcohol and wine to choose from. Definitely going back!

Nice seats but dont book the first row. Not suitable for watching a full length film. Ordered Poke salmon which was good but only came after TWO reminders that I was still waiting for my dinner. Eventually arrived after film started. Only reason Im giving 3 stars is due to the film we saw.. Mama Mia! Gotta see it. Fun evening but go to a regular theater.

It seems so obvious nowadays, but I went to run-of-the-mill move theatres for faaaar too long. This place serves food and booze and is super comfy and intimate. If I have the option, I will always choose to watch movies here.

Poor system and service. Never buy gift card online. My gift card wasnt working. I paid by cash first with refund after movie. They couldnt refund past ticket. But after my complaint, I got refund. But refund total was wrong. Email support said you should go to tell to person directly.

1st time at the Lot, popcorn was mediocre for the smallest 12.00 large bucket I have ever seen. Movie goers want Volume and Quality ! Bathrooms was messy and out of hand towels. I definitely wont be back at the Lot. I dont see this place lasting. One of the most annoying was a waiter constantly walking by and blocking the screen.

Came here Sunday night just for coffee and dessert. Love the fact they close late, enjoyed the ambiance and the live band by the restaurant side. Ordered an Americano and a chocolate scone, by far one of the best coffees Ive ha SORRY Starbucks !!! The scone was on point not too sweet, complemented my coffee just right ! Will be coming back soon !

This used to be regals island cinema, which was one if the first high end luxury theaters. But, then they closed to renovate...which blew my mind. Until, they reopened at The Lot and my mind was blown. The lobby is now a full blown restaurant with quality drinks and table service, and even the seats and movie snacks/treats got better...which is very hard to believe as it was so great before. You could literally go to watch a movie on a date here, but never leave. Drinks. Dinner, movie, desserts, music, and more drinks. This place rocks.

We just came recently after they re did the whole place. Holy smokes. This is a great theater. Its basically a restaurant & lounge that plays movies. The seats fully recline and have tables. There is a wait staff that serves food, concessions, and drinks, drinks as in beer and cocktails. Its legit. Its a little pricey for a movie but its worth it. Expect to spend 80-150 dollars for two people if youre gonna get food / snacks and a drink or two.

Best movie going experience I have ever had. Even if its to not see a movie the food and service is fantastic. So good that I am officially ruined. I can never go back to a regular movie theater ever again. 1st world problems.....

Ordered popcorn did not come until 20 min in, soda orders did not come until half way through the show. Asked several times on what the hold up was. Will not go back. Too expense, and a bad experience.

Food is good but prices are very high. Premium experience but you could just go to the Edwards across the street for the same thing.

Theater was nice, food was okay. Service was ehh, our food order was incorrect, beer tasted like dishwasher soap. Bathrooms were a mess with no toilet paper in most stalls and no hand towels. My seat in the theater didnt work at all. When i told the staff member they offered to moved me to s different seat, away from my party.

Stopped by on opening day, beautiful redesign of the entire place from what it was. Classy yet comfortable decor and vibe, love the flatbread pizza! Comfortable movie seats, nice wall to wall screen. Prices are in line with what Id expect for this kind of experience. Coming back this weekend--I want to try the burger.

Smell & noise :{Great setup, luxury, super comfy seats, great food we had at the restaurant/bistro/bar adjacent to the theater etc....but, I could not stand the smell of food in the theater being delivered! And so much movement around by waiters, distractive, as well as silverware hitting the plate noise while people are trying to eat a burger with fork and knife...... Its a theater better suited for a movie you would watch at home with noise, distractions and the SMELL of food! I think they should NOT serve full cooked dinner inside the theater.... experienced at 8pm on a friday.....might go again but definitely not at dinner time ...

We came here for an event with HP and Commvault to see Captain Marvel! The theater and bar were luxurious and the cocktails were strong . The seats were very comfortable and love having a table available for my dinner.

The Lot at Fashion Island in Newport Beach is a really nice movie theater. Recline in the super comphy leather recliners and order a adult beverage and even dinner to enjoy while watching the movie. The service is fantastic and its a great date nite place to go! It just opened about 2 weeks ago and they are ready to help you enjoy your evening and a show.

You are pampered and well taken care of. Free and ample parking. McConnell ice cream. All details taken care of.

Horrible service. Food arrived in wrong order and when it did arrive it was wrong and the movie was almost over. I had to go find someone to get my card back in which the waiter charged $200+ on it and had to credit my card and run it again for the correct amount. What an idiot!

The theatre had nice seats, and the fries and drinks were good, but I was disappointed that they tried to pad the bill, if I had just signed in the dark they would have received money for items I never received.It seems common by the reaction from my food server, because it was acknowledge that this was not the first offense by the establishment, so be aware and cautious as Im sure mistakes happen, or maybe not!

I enjoyed my experience here! Although higher prices makes up for it in the quality of the cinema! The staff was courteous. I didnt partake in the dine-in amenities, but they do serve alcohol!
