The Lido Theater is the best movie theater franchise in the country. I wish it was slightly cheaper but I understand why the prices are so high. Its clean, they have great service, and they dont let people talk during the movie. Also thank you, Lido Theater, for letting me see The Master in 70mm at the Dome. Ill never forget it.

Love this art deco theater. It isnt high tech but still a nice place to see a film.

Whoa.This place is incredible. I went to see The Music Room during the LA International Film Fest.I was blown away at the awesomeness of this place. Its a little bit of a wonder and I am definitely going to check out more shows there.

Beautiful theater, comfortable seats, excellent place to see a play, better if you join as a season ticket holder, choice of dates and seat location.

Love love everything about this hotel. The service is impeccable, you are made to feel so welcome the moment you arrive whether one of the frequent celebrities who stop by or a very jet lagged Aussie couple in their saggiest travels clothes straight off the plane.

I came to the Lido theatre last week to watch Rocketman (great movie) and we were kindly greeted by a tall guy name Shane. He was very nice and very helpful. I will definitely recommend this place to people because of the great customer service they provide.

If you want to watch a Korean movie this is your only option here in LA. They have different snack options than other movie theaters(different flavor popcorn/beef jerky). Seats are pretty much the same with others and have premium seating at the end for a bigger seat for more $$. The only negative part that I experienced is the contrast, which was too dark.

Enjoyed seeing Its a Wonderful Life in such a beautiful theater, especially up in the balcony!! I didnt give 5 stars because there was a very long line to enter, due to the theater having only one register open for the tickets and concessions combined. Otherwise a very positive experience.

I always loved The Lido Theatre ! I started going in the late 40s ! I saw Psycho in 1960 ! I love the way it looks ! The architecture is the same, but it has been re-done through the years ! In the same retro style. I went recently to see Bohemian Rhapsody ! A great movie ! If the movie hadnt been so great, I would have walked out ! It was really cold, as even the Cinemas are in the summers & winters ! But the real problem was the old seats ! I was in the balcony, & the seats were so small & uncomfortable & no leg room ! I was sitting off to the side, moving so much trying to get comfortable, & my back was killing me ! Freezing too ! I cant ever go back ! A big guy working there, like the boss, he was scary, cause he had obvious mental problems ! He came to the balcony when we were leaving, & looked as if he was on the verge of a breakdown ! He scared me ! The truth, so help me GOD ! He seemed okay when I bought my candy 2 hrs. Previously ! He seemed on the verge of snapping ! I was the last to leave & i was alone up there with him ! Ill never go back !

Very cool vintage theater!! Loved the decor and architecture. History was made at this theater back in the day and if you want you can imagine stars of yesteryear walking thru the small lobby and into the beatuful theater itself. Go, have fun!

I love the movie theaters so much the movies always out for a long time which is great and the sitting is perfect the arrange of the place.

Good movie theater very large and a broad selection of film options available. The drinks and popcorn are a bit pricey.

Great venue had a fun time

This is such a unique theater! Its like a legit old style theater, red velvet carpet and all. They even have balconies you can sit in. Watching a movie here is an experience of its own. Probably wouldnt come here regularly to see my movies but I would def bring guests and friends here for the experience.

Great acoustics and the annual world renown Pageantry of the Masters, where people become living painting, statues, and movie posters. Before the show are some amazing artists selling their fantastic creations. Heads up tip, No photography allowed.

Amazing venue. This renovated movie house now also has live music with original artists and classic rock cover bands. The staff is friendly and this is an great place if you are not into the typical club scene but you want to have a fun night out.

Very old theater in need of a lot of renovations. We were told two years ago at a Warren Miller show that we viewed the last show in this theater, we all thought it would be torn down. I would find a nicer theater to see a show!!

This is a historical theater, very beautiful andtheres a lovely balcony and the staff are sohelpful.

Ive been here twice & loved the small, convenient venue. Ive heard theyve now closed, which is disappointing. I think it had something to do with an expensive lease or redevelopment... in other words, money.

A very cool old theater, much better than the soulless multiplexes.

Had a great time when I went to see Crimes of Passion, Pat Benetar tribute & Double Vision, Foreigner tribute. Great stage & dancing/standing area, comfy seats, super friendly staff, decent prices for shows. HOWEVER, the price for beer and other things is outrageously high!! (hence, only three stars).$10 bucks for a 12 oz cup of Bud Light?? $12 for small well cocktail. $4.50 for a small bag of (the worst tasting) popcorn (ever) (think they need to check the oil). We go out first and THEN go to LidoLive because it is so expensive. 3 beers (Bud Light!) 1 drink cost me $42 bucks!Ive got tickets for a few upcoming shows, but Ill get my pre-party on elsewhere...

Tiny theater-- came for the Newport Beach film festival. Typical movie theater fare with snacks and sodas. Parking can be rough depending on time of day.

Please don’t go like the others with assigned seating much nicer to walk in and grab a seat. I stopped going to the Edwards Regal theaters for this reason. Keep it friendly!
