Wonderful and uplifting

The park has large oaks, so it is well shaded from the sun. It is in the shopping and city government area, so it is safe.Anytime its a time of year when there should be decorations or be festivities, look here by in the park. Its basically the hub of cultural life in the city.

Beautiful!

Cute, well maintained little spot in the midst of the downtown area. I grew up spending time here and still come quite often for picnics or just as a place to stop and sit for a while and enjoy the view of the Opera House and surrounding area.

Very peaceful place

Small, but very nicely decorated for the holidays. It is in the center of everything. Lots of seating for enjoying a break.

Very nice place to picnic

Went to Grandmas house for thanksgiving dinner. After that we went to Memorial Park to look at the lights. Beautiful little town with a wonderful Christmas decorated park.

They did a good job on the memorials for such a small town but be sure to get out and visit some of the historic buildings and the town.

Nice place for meetings but needs more womens rest rooms

Nice place to sit and read, check out the local downtown area, or just reflect and enjoy nice weather. Surrounded by neat local shops, eateries, the historic Newberry Opera House, and even a nicely built-to-fit-with-the-area Hampton Inn.

The Eclipsefest was a wonderful, well organized event.
