We are visiting from Texas and this little vineyard has been one of the top 5 vineyards weve had a chance to visit!Rarely do you get a chance to sample ALL of the wines available for sampling. This place is a must see if youre in the area!
Not the best. First time visiting here, but often attend wine tastings. Arrived and discovered no tasting due to live music event. Would have still bought a few bottles if I was allowed to sample, but was limited to 2 samples and told by an employee that we needed to hurry and make a decision because the line needed to keep moving. After the drive I still purchased a bottle, but almost didnt...I really didnt appreciate being asked to hurry when I had waited patiently for well over an hour to get inside myself and watched patrons before me take their time and not be rushed.I enjoyed my experience at Mercer winery in Lexington, SC so much more and highly recommend you give them a visit.I truly didnt feel appreciated or welcomed for taking the time to come and visit Enoree winery, in Newberry. In fact, up until l made it to counter, I was enjoying the music and the atmosphere. The 3 groups before me each spent about 10 minutes at the counter. After 2 minutes, I was told to hurry, but didnt hear it said to anyone before me....Most likely l will not be returning as I was not treated with the same respect l watched afforded to others..
Definitely a great place to try delicious local wine. The venue is clean, tables are spaced, and there are various outdoor seating options. Please note that there is currently NO outside food or drink allowed.
I love tasting new wines and having the vineyard experience.. It was super clean, very tasty wines and being able to walk freely in the vinyards was lots of fun. Staff was super sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back...the only down fall was a recommend a bigger sign by the road I drove past it twice.
My fiance and I attended a friends wedding ceremony this evening. Staff was absolutely welcoming and kind. Beautiful place. And the wine is absolutely delicious. Got me reconsidering my venue for my wedding planned for april.
Beautiful quaint winery off the beaten path. My partner surprised with a trip there 2019 for my birthday. Owners were great host, are a nice couple and very knowledgeable about grapes and wines. Will visit again soon to restock.
We went today and had an amazing time!!! The folks were amazing and helpful. The Employees were diligent wearing their face mask. The wine was delicious and very flavorful. They were extreamly helpful,, going above and beyond finding me the very last bottle of the Peach Muscadine wine!
This winery is for the people who like the sweeter side of things. Great mixes and a nice wine slush. Doggies on the porch brought on a smile
Good atmosphere, server didnt rush us during our samplingVery good variety of wine to choose from.
Nice place, good wine slushie. Had a lot of fun checking out the vendors! Only issue was getting served at the counter inside. Got ignored and had to interrupt a conversation to be helped. They seemed rather irritated that we wanted service.
Very nice, the band was great, the area is so clean and the vineyards are gorgeous
Very pretty property. The vines are blooming. They have a nice variety of wines ..several white, red and trend towards the sweet side. The customer service is very awesome. It is a very nice place and worth the drive.
Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon on a drive back from Greenville. We had a great time! We enjoyed the tasting, and Barbara, our server, was very welcoming and entertaining. I like the quaint and cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely charming. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. There’s a range of wine for any palette and the prices are great. 100% will be back
An amazing experience!
Awesome ️
Good wines and nice front porch
Cranberry wine...yummmmm
Lovely wine tasting for Valentines Day. Staff is very hospitable and friendly.
Awesome place. Awesome people. Its our home away from home. Great atmosphere to enjoy a glass of wine.
Upon arriving, the grounds were untidy and uninviting. This picture is what you pass as you walk up the stairs to go inside. You also pass a mop bucket with empty cleanser bottles in it, among other things just lying on the porch. Inside was clean and tidy at least. When we asked the woman behind the bar whether one of the wines was dry or sweet ect., she laughed at us and said this is South Carolina we put sugar in our sugar here. We had glass of wine and went on our way. Disappointing to have driven from N GA to visit this winery. Would not recommend.
Great staff, beautiful scenery and delicious wine
Wonderful way to spend an afternoon!
The wines are AMAZING. The people that work there are great. They make you feel at home and answer all your questions. Cant wait to go back.
I had an amazing time. Great people and wonderful wine selection.
Quaint winery with just plain good folks.
There are always lovely and friendly people working. The owners are mostly always there and are great people. They take pride in their quality of wine and its always delicious! Best local vineyard by far!
Very nice place to enjoy a glass or two of wine overlooking the vineyard on a shady verandah or in a beautiful rustic lounge.
Great place. Beautiful. Loved the backberry and elderberry wine I tried today. Bought some for gifts.
My husband and I recently visited the winery. The owners were on vacation, but Emmy gladly served us up a tasting and lively conversation. The weather that day was unusually non-humid, so we sat on the porch under the fans overlooking the vineyard enjoying our wine. This is not our first time at the winery nor will it be our last. We are looking forward to the October pack the porch Sundays, when they will have local musical entertainment. The venue is free except for your wine purchase. Tail gate baskets of food are welcome as always. Enoree River is always a great time to spend with the locals or to meet people just passing through South Carolina.
Great wine and great staff!
We always have a great time at Enoree River Winery! They have a wonderful selections of wines, from dry to sweet. I especially love their fruit wines. Definitely recommend!
Very comfortable experience. We loved the variety of wines accompanying the rustic home feel. We felt welcomed and privlaged. Thank you for the delicious wine tasting.

Nice setting, very friendly people, and good wine!
Visited Saturday Sept. 9. This small winery is a gem in the Midlands. A very nice, comfortable tasting room with very relaxing porch overlooking the vineyards. We drove from Spartanburg and were very pleased. I admit to not being a big fan of muscadine wines. Although, there were a couple of blends that surprised. The fruit wines were really good. We brought two bottles home. We enjoyed a tasting and a glass on the porch. just a very relaxing evening. Our sommelier was very funny and knowledgeable, making the experience really fun. we met the owners, they were very cool and eagle to share their knowledge. What a fun and relaxing way to spend an evening. Highly recommend.
A group of 8 ladies from our dental office planned a Ladies day out at this winery. Upon arrival everything was set up nicely. We were charged an additional $2 per person, per our group size- we were okay with that. Our issue started once we noticed the tables on both sides of ours were recieving double pours (they have the 1oz measuring cap on thr bottles), while we were only recieving single pours with no offer to any additional pour. After the tasting our group decided to purchase two bottles to drink while there. While attempting to purchase said bottles, we were very rudely reminded that we had to pay for them. We were very aware we had to pay for the bottles and never disputed or questioned the price, but feel as if we were treated very unpoorly. There was another server there, who has a bottle of wine named after her, and she is who I would recommend if you are interested in going. Although she was not assisting our party, she was very friendly. I would not recommend this place to anyone. As Ieft this review on their facebook page, a response was given that sometimes the pour mechanisms do not pour as they should so that is why it appeared the opposing tables received more wine per glass. I am a former bartender and I am familiar with those mechanisms- they dont malfunction at each person.
Very friendly, great picture windows with view of vineyard, reasonable prices.
Great experience! Highly recommend it!
Very nice and cozy place!
Great experience
