Love this walk. Clean, maintained, and mostly friendly people walking around here. Bunnies, squirrels, and tons of birds. Huge banana slugs!

Beautiful course nearby Portland

This course is one of the most beautiful courses I have ever played at. The problem is I didnt take a cart and by the time you get to the 4th hole you are in a golfers purgatory with the extremely steep hills. The hills almost always present a challenge and that is great for the mental side of golf but if you play here get a cart for this terrain.

Only used the 1.6mi. hiking loop. Wonderful walk through the woods with some uphill to work those muscles.

Very friendly here, nice option for a chill day with putting and driving vs playing the course. Very pretty course path, affordable as well. The store has plenty of equipment and snacks for sale

Gettman Loop is one of my favorite hidden gems. It has beautiful scenery in a tranquil environment and makes for a great nature walk. Great place to get some exercise!

Good golf course, friendly people

The greens had been aerated and made putting a bit challenging. But still enjoyed getting out and playing.

I go often for the driving range and chipping/putting greens. The grounds are extremely well kept and everything is well maintained. I wish there was a selection of rubber tees for the driving mats, but that might be nitpicking.

Just tried this trail with my pup today.It’s a little muddy in spots with the weather but nothing bad if you have good walking shoes on.Trail is well maintained, and we saw many squirrels! My only complaint is that they have waste bags for when you start the walk but I didn’t see a bin for them at the end of the trail! We opted to take ours the short distance home with us. Great little trail close to home. We will definitely be back!

Its a nice path and very easy walk

This is not a nature walk. This is a -soccer mom with nippy dogs- kind of trail.It goes around a golf course, which wouldnt be that big of a deal except there is no obvious trail head. Its not clear if you are actually supposed to park in the nearby parking lots.You often find your self skipping from the hiking trail to the paved golf course trails.

This a nice 1.6 mile walk just minutes from hwy 99 and just across from the Newberg PCC campus. A great trail for a quick break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The trail takes you around the golf course, through a wooded area with the pleasant sounds of a good sized stream. The trail is impacted by rain, so if it has rained in the last few days, be prepared for several muddy spots that are impossible to get around. Overall, it is an enjoyable walk without having to leave the area!

This is a nice trail with some protection from the sun.

Great place to take your pup for a walk

It was a great place to walk with our Llasapoo. She was in heaven, I kept her on the leash so she wouldnt take rabbit trails.

Im sure its a nice trail, I havent walked it but Google maps insists I have hiked the trail and wont take no for an answer so I have to write something like this just to get them off my back.

The Gettman Loop Trail is a pleasant 1.6 mile walk of moderate difficulty around the Chehalem Golf course. It has some nice wooded areas and a few hills. It gets moderate use.

Nice trail gets a bit busy during the day, part of the trail goes down into a beautiful wooden area I love walking through. Wish more of trail wasnt just looking at golfers but over all a nice walk.

Love the course. Just be prepared for some hills. Greens are fast!
