Glad this place has stayed in the community; so many things for the kids have come and go but this place has great leadership and great for the community. I was apart of it when I was a kid and if I still lived in the area I would definitely have my son part of it as well and all the opportunities it offers.
The skatepark is great for all skill levels!
Even though the building could use some upgrading, the programs are excellent and a great value
Lovely place for childrens birthdays and recreational ball
Youth first, always! I grew up here and its my favorite place in town, other than the local pizza places (support your local businesses)!
This place is GREAT! a lot of fun stuff for the kids. Staff is awesome. involved and very personable.
Love the look...had not been their since late 80s....they do parties..like birthday..baby showers..
This was my hangout seventy years ago, when Alex Eligh was alive and kicking, and directing the operation. The building started life as an adjunct gymnasium for the old high school, and continued to host basketball games and dances after the high school moved to West Miller Street. The pool tables in the basement were hill-and-dale affairs but they were free while the smoother tables at Frank Sedgwicks on West Union Street ran something like 50 cents a game. Way costly for impecunious youth in 1950.
Great place for large gatherings we do our family Christmas there every year 12 years running thanks mom
