My children, aged 13 to 8, were absolutely fascinated as our guide Sheryl did an amazing job of captivating their attention, explaining the different patterns, colors, and styles that developed through each era. My children are all now Heisey glass fans and made me promise that we could come back!

Such an amazing Museum, the people are so nice and the displays of glass, history and art are astounding! Definitely a place to spend a day enjoying this great gem!

Way more here than you expect. Great local history. Nice gift/souvenir shop. Take a group. Call ahead for your group and they will arrange a great tour.

A wonderful experience, and a beautiful setting. My wife and I visited today, and were quite impressed with the beautiful and informative displays,as well as the Museum building itself. This museum is amazing! So interesting to see not only the extensive collection they have, but, the history of the industry and the impact on the town during its time. Highly recommend!

Great place to learn about Heisey glass history. Very informative. Such great works of art.

As a Heisey collector, every trip through the museum is a new experience. The glass is beautiful and interesting to behold. I have taken several non-Heisey collectors through this amazing place and they have enjoyed learning about and seeing the glass. The one outstanding statement that seems to come from all of them is the enthusiasm of the collectors. One interesting part of the Museum is the gift shop. You can actually purchase a real piece of Heisey!!

Nice museum retelling the storey of Heisey Glass manufacturing in the past decades.

Fun place to go with the family. I learned about the history of the Heisy Glass Factory and got to see a lot of its creations. I thought glass would be boring but its not; its awesome!

Amazing glass museum. Easy to see quickly unless youre youre a collector, in which case you should plan to spend half a day or more.

What a neat little gem in the middle of Newark! With more than 4,500 pieces of historic glass its quite the collection. I learned a lot about glassmaking and even discovered some Heisey pieces in my familys collection of glass. The curators here are extremely attentive, and you can really tell theyre passionate about the collection and history of Heisey Glass.If you ever find yourself in Newark, Ohio be sure to stop by the historic house.

I was a glass museum, the second floor had obvious water damage and smelled musty and moldy. Didnt really care for that style of glass wear, but it was interesting to see all the ways Hollywood has used this brand in different movies.
