Season 3 episode 22 of friends was filmed here. But there is more to this theater, its a small theater with good sight lines and its intimate. Good place to watch a show and its historical.

I attended a Memorial Service over the weekend for my friend, Bruce. The venue was exactly what I thought it would be, it literally set the stage for everything that was said and done to honor and remember my friend. It was an Awesome Day Of Remembrance, and the theater provided the ambience and decor, fitting for the event.

Large standard Broadway theater. Not modern but not the most ornate traditional house. Seats are comfortable, but a little tight. Nice bar and lounge in the basement. Obviously a lot depends on what is showing. View from far isle orchestra seats can be a little impaired by large speakers.

Went there to watch DOGMAN the musical which was awesome and very comical and funny. The theater was nice and clean. Smaller than the theaters in Broadway. The seats are very comfortable with red velvet covers. But the downside was one of the staff members told my daughter not to eat her lollipop since they dont allow FOOD in the theater. I believe that lollipops are not food. Its a candy. And candies are not food.

Good sight lines, not too deep, comfortable enough chairs. The rake isnt very deep, so you might have someones head in you way, but the upside is no steps or steep aisles in the orchestra section.

This is a great off-Broadway theater run by MTC. The stage is large compared to the number of seats available which makes for a very intimate space. Theres no bad seat in the house, Ive sat in all sections of the orchestra and balcony (when available). Quality productions that are definitely worth seeing.

School Girls;Or the African Mean Girls play, is excellent. Through The Eyes of a private girls Secondary School in Ghana Ricci the queen bee static at work through two generations and also have there are layers of racist overtones Within and self-hatred for ones own skin color based on how one is treated and seen by the other.

A utilitarian performance space-- one of the old school off-Broadway houses. No bells and whistles, the Lortel feels a little worn, but in a good way. I did not have the sightline issues that one reviewer mentioned. The box office staff and ushers were very friendly and helpful. I would go back to this theater happily.

This theater reminds me of the old Roseland in that it looks like it hasnt been renovated since World War II. The seats arent the most comfortable either. But it is pretty intimate, with good sight lines. And MCC puts on some great productions here. On some level, I will miss this place when MCC moves uptown.Separately, if you like coffee and/or tea, stop by McNultys (just a few doors down from the theater) to pick up some beans or leaves before your show.
