I just love the Radio City, all the time good shows on. I saw the Christmas spectacular!! It is really an amazing one. But I also saw the IL Divo there. Spring spectacular and lot more. Tickets sometimes not cheap but worth it. I enjoyed every minute. Sometimes before the show I went a little bit earlier to the city and walking around, specially before Christmas. Beautiful that time .
I went to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in 2016 along with my sister and aunt and I was so excited to see the show. The Radio City Rockettes were amazing! Show was nice, staff was friendly, and the entire experience of the show was fantastic, including Santa Claus there.Unfortunately I cant attend the show this year because of COVID-19, but I am looking forward to attend next year to see this tremendous performance at Radio City Music Hall!!
Watched the Rockettes! What an amazing show. Its so fun, the venue is full of tourists from different parts of the world..I hope to visit New York again soon after Covid 19..
I remember watching some theatrical act here when I was a kid, I dont remember much that day but all I know is that it was fun, and the restrooms were clean.
What can I say? Its Radio City Music Hall!School trips, Boy Scout outings, with family, friends, clients... I would never miss a chance to see the Rockettes or the Christmas Spectacular. Such an appropriate name. Truly a must see!A true New York City landmark that everyone needs to see at least once. Unfortunately, due to covid, this years shows have been canceled, but will be back next year.
The music hall is amazing! I took a stage tour door of the facility and got to meet a Rockette! Tip: The best time to take the stage door tour is after the Christmas show so going on so you can walk on the stage and look towards the seats. Nevertheless the tour guide and staff were very knowledgeable about Radio City and its rich history!
A staple of the Big Apple, Radio City Music Hall is one of those places you should consider visiting even if you arent planning to see the Rockettes. But if you do see them, Im sure youll be impressed by their Christmas show. It was an amazing production with lively music and spot-on dancing. Even if you dont love the show itself, I think its almost impossible to deny the talent this troupe has! And the building itself is not too shabby either!
I went around Christmas time for my girlfriends birthday. We had a wonderful time and the winter spectacular was amazing. We had such a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’ve to a lot of shows in New York radio city has the best staff. Get any seat, they all have wonderful views of the stage. Definitely will be back!
Saw the Christmas spectacular and it was great. It was easy getting in and out, especially if you listen to where they tell you to go! They are helpful and do there best to keep you moving as long as you pay attention. The show was great of course. Its amazing what they do now compared to the show 20 years ago. Always gets you in the Christmas spirit!!
Went to Radio City Music Hall such an iconic location in New York City. Attended the 2019 University of pace Manhattans graduation. Took lots of photos the building is beautiful steeped with history. The day was wonderful got to go to a bucket list location for such a special occasion. The speeches where wonderful and the graduation was spectacular.
Amazing venue! Walking in feels like you are transported back into a simpler time. There is such a vast difference between the outside and inside it is almost shocking. The giant chandelier is beautiful and the acoustics in the actual theatre are amazing. We have been visiting for a few years now and always around Christmas. Wouldnt be the same without it!
Christmas spectacular was amazing. My personal favorite was the toy soldier part, but it was all good. Poor kid playing the little brother tripped on the stage, but the whole show was great. Amazing stage mechanics, beautiful choreography and great singing.
Sadly, we didnt see a show however taking the behind the scenes tour was awesome! Melissa was a wonderful guide and super informative. We were lucky to be there right at a time where they were filming a movie so that was fun. The decor was gorgeous and done beautifully art deco. The tour included a meet and greet with a Rockette who was lovely as well. Overall a must see when you visit NY.
The back stage tour is fantastic. Our guide Perry was very interesting and fun and shared a lot of good details about Radio City Music hall. Standing on the stage and looking out at nearly 6000 seats was both humbling and a huge adrenaline rush.Getting an insiders view of this iconic performance venue opened my eyes to the intricacies of hosting huge events like the Tony’s or a big music stage show.We also enjoyed the time learning about the Rockettes and the chance to meet a member of this famous dance troupe.
Tyler Perry Madea excellent! Packed sold out. Everything from train to Penn to cab went right. Expensive everything together but was gift. Seats perfect as we were 1st row just banister in front. Wish he would continue to have more shows. Dont forget grab a pretzel on the street
Very impressive concert hall. I dont know why they cant make more concert halls like this one. The seats are comfortable the views are amazing no matter where you sit. We took the backstage tour which gave you an amazing view of many of the rooms that you wont see if you just go there to see the Rockettes. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The mens and womens lounges actually are very comfortable so that you can use the restrooms while your family can wait for you just outside it in some very comfortable chairs and couches. And of course then theres always the lovely rockettes which are amazing to watch for their beauty and grace and most of all synchronous dance moves that are the icon of this place since 1931
First time seeing the Rockets . Absolutely loved the show... beyond words, moved almost to the point of tears. Great seats off to the side on an 11am show. Prices were reasonable. We were maybe 12 rows back. Great seats. I was with my elderly parents, dad walks with a cane. Was very cold but we got in line little more than an hour early. A kind employee there saw my dad who has difficulty standing, and brought him inside to wait so he would be more comfortable. Thank you for your kindness it was very much appreciated.
The Christmas Show was great, although the Nativity Scene was better in the past. No mention of Jesus? Its Christmas...hence the word Christ in the name. Nonetheless, it was a great time with the Family on Christmas Night! Peace and love to all!
Radio City Christmas Spectacular is amazing! People near and far and all ages will love this show.
Took a backstage tour was the second time if you did it once do it again different people different information its very fascinating especially the Hydraulics that were built from the beginning or still there and working. I got to walk on the floor my mother auditioned in 1950 on. I have a lot of old pictures from backstage from her being a Rockette I guess thats why it was so special for me
Radio City Music Hall is an entertainment venue at 1260 Avenue of the Americas, within Rockefeller Center, in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Nicknamed the Showplace of the Nation, it is the headquarters for the Rockettes, the precision dance company. Radio City Music Hall was built on a plot of land that was originally intended for a Metropolitan Opera House. The opera house plans were canceled in 1929, leading to the construction of Rockefeller Center.Radio City Music Hall was designed by Edward Durell Stone and Donald Deskey in the Art Deco style. One of the more notable parts of the Music Hall is its large auditorium, which was the worlds largest when the Hall first opened. The new complex included two theaters, the International Music Hall and the Center Theatre, as part of the Radio City portion of Rockefeller Center. The 5,960-seat Music Hall was the larger of the two venues. It was largely successful until the 1970s, when declining patronage nearly drove the Music Hall to bankruptcy. Radio City Music Hall was designated a New York City Landmark in May 1978, and the Music Hall was restored and allowed to remain open. The hall was extensively renovated in 1999.The Music Hall also contains a variety of art. Although Radio City Music Hall was initially intended to host stage shows, it hosted performances in a film-and-stage-spectacle format through the 1970s, and was the site of several movie premieres. It now primarily hosts concerts, including by leading pop and rock musicians, and live stage shows such as the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. The Music Hall has also hosted televised events including the Grammy Awards, the Tony Awards, the Daytime Emmy Awards, the MTV Video Music Awards, and the NFL Draft.
If you have children with you, be extra careful as its heavily crowded out here during holiday season. Do enter the subway station that right across Radio City, its a beautiful station to see. The city looks all glammed up around Christmas, in fact its the best time to visit with family and friends. There are several food places to try your taste buds on. Prefer not to eat from the stalls that are at each corner of the street as the food is not that healthy from those stalls and is day-long often. Carry a backpack and avoid carrying a purse.
This is truly THE GREATEST PLACE TO TOUR IN NYC.First, let me establish that I work as a lighting designer in a theater and I could talk on and on about the amazing old school technology they keep here. Long story short, I know my stuff about theaters and that the backstage tour of Radio City Music Hall really shows you almost every nook and cranny of the theater. When booking your tour, in order to experience every part of the theater to your money’s worth, you will need to do some research to find the best time and day to book your tour. Knowing the entertainment industry, there is no way you will be walking on the stage and backstage if you book your tour in the afternoon before a show taking place there that same evening. It is best if you can book your tour on a day with no shows in the theater. I personally had my tour the morning after a big show because I knew that the show would be loaded out the night prior and they usually wouldn’t host an event in the morning. In the beginning of the tour, you will go through the necessary security precautions in the entrance lobby which is good because they are keeping you safe so be compliant. You will then move to the grand lobby where you will meet your lovely tour guide. They are always very nice and very good at keeping the audience engaged, likely because they tried to get into the acting field.Your tour group of 15ish might appreciate you more if you often ask your tour guide interesting questions about the different parts of the theater because 1) the tour guides really do know what they’re taking about and can probably answer most of your questions and 2) if your group isn’t asking questions, the tour guide may move the group along suddenly and you may not get to fully take in every part. One interesting part of the tour is when your tour guide might offer for you to use the bathrooms in a dark lounge. As weird as it sounds, I encourage you to go in and take a look at the bathrooms that still have some of the same vintage 1920s art and amenities that still work like hand dryers. This building is truly and Art Deco marvel of the 20s and if you have to pick between a tour of RCMH and NBC studios, definitely choose the tour of Radio City.
One of the most beautiful theatres Ive ever been too, especially at Christmas. The Christmas Spectacular is an absolute must. It really gives you a warm Christmas feeling. I also did a stage door tour. I wasnt sure what to expect but it was one of the highlights of my trip.
Even though it was last Christmas we cant wait to go again. It was a fantastic show with the world famous Rockettes and a very appropriate Christmas extravaganza!! I especially want to take the bus tours & check out all the sites. There are restaurants everywhere so you wont go hungry just pick out your favorite or try something new. It was very crowded but it was fun for me in the sharing the experience with those around me.
Very nice theater! Seats are well-placed for good viewing. But its a mad house trying to get out at the end of a show, beyond a normal concert hall or stadium.
My friends and I spent Christmas there for watching the show! The bathrooms there were so cool as if you were one of the actors/actresses. Some people dress up really formal and some do not so I guess as it’s okay not to wear like suits or high heels? The show was great, too. Santa Claus was adorable and he sang and danced at the same time! Another interesting point was it became cooler and cooler after the show ended.
Went to the Rockette show before Christmas, and was amazed by all the excellent performers. The dance, the stage that keep changing, the live orchestra, the friendly staff were perfect. Really nice for family and friends to enjoy the atmosphere of Christmas together!
Most amazing show I have ever seen and I have seen so many from the coast to coast, theater and Opera and none come close to the Rockettes holiday show. Worth every penny of the $100 dollars per ticket . The visual effects and timing was amazing . Live animals and even a bus all onstage . True class act take your wife and kids it was awesome
Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular. Need I say more? Just a phenomenal show filled with absurdly talented dancers and singers. Their commitment to their craft is extraordinary. The whole ambience in and around the theater is captivating. The synchronization and precision displayed by the Rockettes is absolutely breathtaking. You are never too old or young to see this show, which has a little something for everyone.I have to mention the staff at the theater. Its obvious they have done this hundreds or thousands of times. So efficient. A really wonderful experience.
Must see in new york. The tournis amazing. The view of the stage at the top is awesome.
I surprised my wife by taking her to see the Christmas Spectacular featuring the Radio City Rockettes. Its definitely something everyone should see in their lifetime. I only wish I had seen it as a child
Place is legendary- what else can I say. I always look forward to seeing the Christmas Spectacular here. One day, I hope to catch a concert or an awards show. When you go here, just leave your problems, and all the noise of the world at the door and lose yourself. The sights and sounds are simply awesome. Only downside is it is expensive - almost too expensive, but for now I am willing to pay it just to say enthusiastically I get to go to Radio City- a legendary landmark not only in NYC but in the world. The Christmas Spectacular is amazing and if you have never seen it - take a plane, take a train or swim to New York next December if you have to. For 2 hours, you will be reminded of why Christmas was your favorite holiday when you were a kid.
Good tour! Good staff! A very different experience! The radio city theatre hall is a magnificent piece of technology and art! Rightfully given the Landmark title!
Classic venue. We had front row seats in the 3rd mezzanine and had a great view of the stage. We were there to see Josh Groban on Valentines day. When he showed some video clips on the rear screen a very small part of it was obstructed by the curtain..but not enough to pose a problem.
It’s a large music hall! Lots of urinals downstairs. The Rockettes are very synchronized and talented, but it’s just not the kind of entertainment I like. If you like music, dance and legs you might enjoy it. The food is very expensive and I assume the tickets are as well.
Very nice performance, spectacular setting. But all the chairs are almost at the same level, so if you have a tall person sitting in front of you, you wont see much and your kids will see nothing at all. (I was wanted to do 3 stars because of the obstructed sight but it wouldnt be fair to the actors).
I loved visiting Radio City Music Hall! I do however wished they were a little more organized to guide visitors properly to their seats. I would also love it if it were a little warm inside, the seats could be a little more comfortable, and signs to restroom and elevator could be more visible. Other than that, the place is beautiful the Christmas Spectacular show was spectacular!!! The production was superb!!!! A must watch!!! Were planning to make it a tradition every year!!!
The iconic venue lived up to its legendary reputation delivering nastalgia, luxury and a state of the art sounds system..
Loved this place! Has a Hollywood feel to it. The ladies lounge was something else. Three separate lounge areas, one with individual mirrored vanities.
Ahhh love it love it love it! We went for a choir walk through. They give tours but only 19 at a time just for heads up. They take you through all of the floors and areas where they record every Saturday night live showing, we saw the stand for where they enter and got to see the set up for the bands that play with every star. Going through a hallway they have pictures dating back to the first Saturday night live. We were given magnetic pins that say applause and the staff and tour guides knew our names and remembered them throughout the whole tour. They gave us a small session of making our own Saturday night live video and it was fun. There was a sound crew, camera crew, a host, a spokesperson, the band and a special guest. They made the tour fun and eventful, and they pointed out cool facts such as one of the studios (dare not say which) has the same fold up seats from the very first show. A secret also is that they have a garden gnome and every star rubs his face for good fortune and luck. We never saw it but they say he has been there since the beginning of the NBC recordings. Then they will take you down the stairs and guide you the souvenir shop where every show is separated and has their own section so if you love f.r.i.e.n.d.s or Jimmy Fallon or maybe the news, then they have something for you.
A magical venue with a rich history, which is woven within the fabric of what is New York City in the heart of midtown Manhattan just steps away from Rockefeller Center. Inside different shows are hosted here and it’s really beautiful, especially the mural which is arguably one the best in the city outside an art museum. Outside is definitely a photo snapping moment for sure too!
The Rocketts and the rest of the dancers really put on a wonderful show. The place was packed and all the staff were really stepping up and getting ppl to their seats. There was liquor and snacks right outside our seats. We loved the show.
Home of the famous NYC Rockettes. The show is non stop singing and dancing so well choreographed... makes one wonder how much time they practice. There are no bad seats. The show is highly recommended for the whole family.
Rockettes Christmas Show was a wonderful production. Kids will love it; adults loved it too. Dont dress too warmly or you will get hot. Even though there were 100 announcements not to take pics or video, many folks around will do so. Security moved fast, just fill in the spaces around you. We had Orchestra seats, row K, section 400, great seats!
What a gorgeous venue. Was here for the Tonys dress rehearsal. Not sure how it usually sounds since they were set up for broadcast rather than in-theater sound but phenomenal acoustics and not a bad seat in the house
Went on the tour here... The place is absolutely amazing... The history and architecture is so interesting... Hope to go to an actual event here some day...
My wife and I watched the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes! We were told that it was great, but it was even BETTER than we imagined!! The set, props & performances were all top notch and filled with Christmas wonder! Magical!!
Went for the Loud Records 25 year experience concert. Best concert ever. Beautiful venue. Wu-tang forever.
Great theater! Always clean and organized. Shows are always on time, view from every where I have been is great... Bathroom is always clean, lines usually moves fast.Lighting is almost perfect they really do a good job. Sound is great and very well optimized, I really like this place
I had great seats for the Jill Scott concert. But what was most amazing about this experience was the effective handling of long line to the womens bathroom. It went by quickly because an employee directed people to a stall when it became available. I know it seems crazy for that to stand out but for such a crowded facility this was an amazing experience.
My family comes here every year to see the Rockettes and we make a whole day of it in New York City. The staff is always really nice and extremely helpful. My Dad lost his glasses before the show while buying some things and noticed when we got to our seats. The staff was amazing and helped us find them so he can see the show with no difficulties. And the show....AMAZING! They have a great show every year.
Great place and iconic of Newyork
The best theater Ive ever been to. The stage & what the theater can do is amazing. Very immersive!! I watched the Christmas spectacle with the rockettes and the show is worth every penny.
The Rockettes where absolutely amazing. The performance was great and it was definitely worth the price. The atmosphere was definitely filled with Christmas joy. The lines to enter werent as bad as I thought, going through the metal detectors were fast and easy just remember to put all metal things in your bag if you dont have one they give you a little dish to put your stuff in it. They have popcorn, cookies and different type of snacks to buy when you get there. In each isle theres a person there to help you go to your assigned seat. Once again the show was astonishing and everyone that is able to go watch it I encourage you to go.
What a beautiful and historic venue! You cant be here and not feel big and small at the same time! Not a bad seat in the house. I saw the Christmas Spectacular which was great! The staff was all very friendly and the decor was beautiful!
Was really impressed with this tour the guide was really well informed and get to meet a Rockette at the end. Very impressive building.
Need to check out The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. A holiday tradition.
My wife and I went to see the comedian, Michael McIntyre. The show was great. There is not a bad seat. The staff was extremely friendly. The iconic theater is well maintained. It was only a short uber ride from the hotel. We could have walked on a less rainy evening. Highly recommend seeing a show here.
Radio City Music Hall is absolutely breathtaking, especially during Christmas time! Weve taken the tour before which was a really amazing experience. The coolest part of that was being in the light/ sound area and looking down on the performance on stage. The year after, we got the pleasure of seeing The Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes. Not only were the dancers phenomenal, but the entire show was mesmerizing to watch. They even had live animals (camels, a sheep, and a donkey) which was so cool to see! I had no idea going into it. Highly recommend this show, it was absolutely amazing!
Saw the 25th Anniversary of Riverdance here. Great performance. Good view even from the third mezzanine. Would highly recommend a trip to the Ladies lounge if you can; great paintings, cool mirrors and old fashioned foot operated hand dryers
Really enjoyed the Radio City Music Hall Tour. Excellent tour by Natalie, very informative and fun! 75min tour which really flew! Very enjoyable experience, highly recommend
I loved my experience with the rockettes! Place was BEAUTIFUL
Fun old-school style concert hall. Saw Massive Attack here. Had the time of my life. The place has so much history. I really enjoyed the energy. Its unique compared to more modern concert halls. Staff is highly attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.
Fabulous venue. I really appreciated the level of security they had coming in, and the performance selection is phenomenal. I went to see 2CELLOS and having a venue that was able to support their sound is always what I want from a venue of course, but the decor had also really made the visit special, especually downstairs.
It was a great experience. As this was our first time. The show was great, just wish there was more diversity.Be careful seats in the front on the sides have obstructed views.Maybe thats why so reasonable
Amazing show! It was such a Spectacular show! The Rockettes did NOT disappoint! The entire production was top notch! The use of lighting on the ceiling and walls was a magical touch. Loved the interactive 3D glasses and the fun Santa hats!
My sister graduated from Monroe College and her graduation ceremony kept there. Although it was crowded the service was orderly. Security was great very huge, clean, prestigious atmosphere. We had a wonderful time!
Spectacular. Fabulous. Magnificent. Awesome. Amazing. Astounding. Impressive.Breathtaking. Bewildering. Staggering.Stupefying. Wonderful. Great time with the wife and kids.
My family and I went to Radio City Music Hall to see the Christmas Show Spectacular and it was great! Extremely easy to get to our area, and there was an usher waiting to seat us at the entrance way of the balcony. The comfortable, padded and spacious seats were arranged in a way where everyone had a perfect view of the stage. The Rockettes were amazing as always, as well as all the other performers. 10/10 would reccomend if youre looking for a very family friendly tradition to continue annually.
The Christmas Spectacular is great! Well done, from the costuming to the acting to the dancing to the storyline to orchestra to backstage hands (as everything ran flawlessly)! Its definitely worth going!
Radio City Music Hall has that old New York sophisticated charm. The theater still has real beautiful Lounge rooms for both men and women. They even still have functioning phone booth to sit down in... WoW!! Despite the age of the building, I can appreciate that it has an elevator... unlike The Beacon Theater. The Beacon will loose out on a lot of customers due to that simple fact.
Really cool placeI am at the massive attack event at the moment
The Christmas Spectacular was amazing. And well worth it. Loved it. And crazy to see that many people there for that show.
The Christmas City Rockettes are an NYC must! I got Orchestra tickets for $36 at tkts and I suggest you go early to snag a good ticket from the booth. I was right up close to the stage and could see everything, even though the ticket said partial view: all the glitter, glory, and even the costume changes. The multiplying santas bit was my favorite part. Grand music hall and just so intoxicating just to be there enjoying the 90min spectacular. Go, if youre deciding, go!
Amazing place especially during the holidays. Very clean design and great for watching shows. It’ll get pretty crammed around this area during the holidays for sure.
Huge concert hall in the middle of Manhattan. Very well organized and functional. They have few traditional shows. I think most popular one is “Christmas Spectacular”. Last time we were there for our daughter’s college graduation ceremony. It was great as usual.
An amazing theater with awesome seating that is very comfortable. The sounds and sights were outstanding and the performers were second to none! The only issue I had was the absolute rudeness of the line keepers. The line is a chaotic mess with little organization. Seeing as they have been doing this for like 80 years you think they would ba e perfected the line issue. Last is just a piece of advice for anyone planning on going... Dont put your hair in a bun and if your hair puffs over 8 inches maybe try to pick a shorter hair style. You dont have to get it cut, just let it down.
The Christmas performance was simply grand! One of the best on stage shows ever experienced. Quite magical.
Beautiful old venue. Totally modern facility. Walking distance from both Grand Central and the Port Authority. My sister and I saw the Christmas Spectacular, featuring the Rocketts. It truly was spectacular! The stage alone was amazing.Go...youll love it, regardless of whats showing.
This is a must visit NYC landmark. Though Christmas may be the best time to visit this is a place you can definitely visit all year round. Its a great place to go to in NYC and a must visit place if your near the area and even worth making the trip just to come here.
This presentation of the Christmas show is spectacular. It is engaging for children as well as adults and seniors. This show grabs your interest and makes you that 5 year old child once again... With wide eyed wonder and hopes to catch Santa on Christmas under the tree. There are changing graphics that decorate the walls and ceiling of the Music Hall, there are polar bears and skiers, sledders and moving trains. The Rockettes are absolutely AMAZING as always. And the Christmas story with live camels, sheep and a burro will make you cry and take your breath away.
Beautiful theatre with an amazing sound system and acoustics. Comfy chairs and great view. Love that the ushers would direct people to sit during the concert. This time, I saw Anita Baker. It was an amazing show.
Iconic venue! Popular to tourists. Location is right on Rockefeller. Security is tight. Be ready to arrive at least 45mins before so you dont have to rush. Theres always a queue to toilets but its pretty organized. Beverages can be extortion. Maybe go for dinner right before, theres some good spots around the area.
Great Christmas show! And they still include the reason for the holiday: Jesus birth! So encouraging that we dont have to hide the reasons behind our beliefs! Its educational for everyone who has different religions, just like my kids are learning about Hanukkah and Kwanzaa that some of their friends celebrate! Its so nice to be able to share and learn each others beliefs without animosity.
The backstage tour was excellent! Our guide, Melissa, was knowledgeable and friendly! The Rockette we met, Rachel, did not seem to want to be there, though. Definitely worth visiting! The ladies room was amazing!
I have been to New York, two or three times in my life, I have visited Radio City Music Hall only once. For My birthday a couple of years ago, a good friend of mine took me to this amazing almost sold out show at Radio City Music Hall. This was one of the nicest gift events, someone has ever done for me, and the inside of the music auditorium was just breathtaking. It’s my goal this summer, to purchase tickets to this beautiful music auditorium in the world.
Our first time attending a concert in Radio City Music Hall. I had brought my Dove Wife to see a concert for Valentines Day, featuring Jerry Rivera, Tito Nieves and Gran Combo. It was spectacular. We had an awesome time. Seats were great. Cant wait to attend another fabulous concert.
Came here for the Annual Christmas Spectacular Show. The best ever Christmas performance by the legendary Rockettes with live Orchestra. This Music Hall is huge and lovely. There are souvenir shops and small Kiosks for drinks and snacks. It gets crowded all the time no matter what Show performance they have. The long queue gets fast though because staffs are very efficient. There’s security bag check before entering this Hall. This year’s Christmas Spectacular Show is better than ever. The sound system is super. They say it’s not allowed to take photos during the presentaion but I see a lot of people sneaking and taking videos and photos. Always worth your money to watch this Annual Christmas Presentaion, there’s always something old and something new and it just keeps on getting better each year. Minimum tickets for this Show range from $49- $499.
A big and magnificent hall thats so perfectly and fully used up by the Rockettes for the amazing Christmas Spectacular show! Not just the stage, but the ceiling and the walls were also used for projecting videos and lights, creating a surround effect, like in a planetarium. The show was superbly entertaining and enjoyable in itself, and the Rockettes are very talented performers.
Christmas Spectacular was amazing, great atmosphere, friendly staff which would help you find your seats. Lighting was on point, since it made you feel like you were actually taking part in the performance. But overall great experience.
Awesome venue. Great sound quality and beautiful interior. Easily accessible and will definitely be going back.HOWEVER, literally everyone was on their phones recording the entire performance. This was distracting and annoying and you will NEVER look at those videos and feel the same way as you would have if you had just enjoyed the performance. I wish there was a no phones policy. This pic if from the 3rd mezzanine. Still a really good viewpoint.
Amazing show.... Staff inside were EXTREMELY TACKY.... SCREAMING at the high dollar paying customers to get out immediately after the show..... VERY GHETTO
What can be said about this place that hasnt been said already. I went here for the Christmas spectacular which did not disappoint in the least. It is pricey, in the middle of Manhattan frequented by tourists, and during Christmas time with a lot of traffic to Rockefeller Center to see the tree; but regardless, it was worth it. The show was amazing, the venue iconic, and was a great outing with my family. I would recommend waiting until the little ones are big enough to appreciate coming here, but to each their own, it is still a good place to take them when they want to see Santa during the Christmas season
The behind the scenes i an excellent tour and well worth a visit. The tour guides really know their stuff about the history of the building and city aroundSuch and iconic place to seeWell worthGoing to see a show here not a bad view in the houseHighly recommended
We watched the Christmas spectacular with the Rockettes. An amazing show in an amazing venue. Acting, singing, dancing, orchestra, costumes, 3D animation, everything was breathtaking! A must see !
Such an amazing experience!!! I have seen the Rockettes in Nashville before, but there was truly nothing like seeing them at Radio City! Friends also highly recommend the stage door tour the only offer, but we didn’t have time for it this trip.
