The green park like my grandson calls it is great for the kids to play on. You can watch and see almost where your child is if you paying attention to them

Really nice and very pretty park. The only slight complaint that I have is some of the equipment needs to be repainted and some wooden benches need replacement. But other than that it was very nice. I will come back.

Doing it in da park Ya~Herd

This is probably my favorite park in Acadiana. Its a good size, *completely* shaded by trees, has walking trails, tennis courts, a traditional playground and a new, fenced in playground for bigger kids on synthetic ground (less dirty) and a dog park. Theres even more that I cant list. The scenic bayou is along the back end of the park and theres an enchanting blue green pond surrounded by swamp trees just past the walking bridge where youll see ducks and other animals. I can go on and on, I just love this place!

Its a nice park,decent for not wanting to drive to Lafayette. Theres always ducks and squirrels willing to come close and eat bread. Park and okay areas are always clean enough.

Does not actually show up on Google maps. Iberia is a small town located not too far from Lake of the Ozarks. Located in Miller county, the population in 2010 was around 740. This population count has increased by about 150 people according to the 2000 census count. Iberia has an elementary, juinior and high school. There are no major retail stores in this town, however does have a supermarket, Caseys convenience store and in the last year or two a Dollar General. The Iberia City Park itself is right on the out skirts of the town. Taking the main road through the town will lead you right to the park. It has three covered pavilions. The largest has electrical outlets, not sure if the other pavilions do.

Nice clean park. I like to walk here in the morning and afternoon. Most of the time when I go there are always cleaning up the park. There are a number of trails and a ball field. Also a boat landing and a dock. There are two chil playgrounds and a pond. There are several pavilions and a recreational center.

Much better than i anticipated. Nice track. Nice dog park. Go check it out. Right on the bayou.

Great park for the kids. I bring the dog sometimes. They have 2 doggie parks. 1 for small dogs other for larger. Really just a large plot of gated land.

Kids love feeding the ducks and squirrels.

My toddler girls love to visit the park when we are in town. They love to go to Devil’s pond and feed the ducks. The playground equipment is also well maintained, and there are many options for all different ages of kids. There are shaded places for parents to sit and watch their children play. There is also a very nice walking trail for dog walking and exercise.

A nice peaceful place for a walk. I enjoy communing with nature. However, I really wish people would not throw their trash in the water or on the grounds.

Its not cool in the front of park and the swimming pool always crowed but in the back is a beautiful playground and perfect for your children to have lots of fun. Enjoy

LOVE everything this park has to offer! Play- grounds for kids, swimming pool, tennis courts, skating area, dog park, picnic tables by the pond with ducks, 3 mile trail, access to the bayou and overall tons of tall trees that provide shade and beautiful greenery!

This is a great place for family fun. Picnics, family reunions, barbeques, and wonderful shade trees. The duck pond and squirrels are fun to watch. Its a great get away place to relax for a bit.

They have a really nice fenced area with turf and a large play set inside. Our kids love it!

Very nice park with great features. Walking trails, boat dock, brand new playgrounds, bathrooms, public pool, and more. The park also hosts a multitude of events for the public. Our current favorite is the symphony in the park. We come here often to walk the trails after work.

Very clean and well up kept park. Great for families. Saw a lot of people jogging around the park. The community center is very clean and organized.

Beautiful park. Great for letting the little ones play or even for basketball for the older ones (adults). There is also workout equipment, a walking path and a duck pond. Near the back of the park is the Bayou Teche where you can launch your boat or just go fishing.

This place is awesome! They even have a gym you can use for free!

Love catching the Action Packed Wrestling show here! The crowd is intense and the show is great!

One of my favorite places to go I grew up here and as a kid spent a lot of time in the city park. Its still a nice clean family orientated place to take a walk watch a ball game or spend the day with family and friends.

We always enjoy the park!! Watching the ducks and squirrels is relaxing, letting my kiddo burn energy playing is priceless, surrending time as a family is hard to beat!!

Its pretty nice with big beautiful oak. But the dog park has the city park group goes every day at prime time. The woman that must be the head of the group is very rude and cussed me like a dog. Even had a drone filming me. I dont know even know the woman I just wont to know who does she thing she is.

Lovely park. They also have pool and a sprinkler on side for smaller kids. Inside food drinks basket ball. Ping pong. Summer camp. Certain time of year they have small an large festivals. Includes shopping booths of all sorts home made items. Walk trails bike trails tennis court. Picnic areas. Fun for all ages.... Also have a park Ranger...

Love feeding the squirrels. They will eat out of your hand. I think their favorites are peanut M&Ms.

Take yoga twice a week....is so relaxing and peaceful always makes my week better.

Beautiful little park with 2 off-leash dog parks, one for all dogs and one specifically for small dogs. It would be a lot nicer if people would pick up after their pets but they dont so be forewarned: the dog park areas are COVERED in feces so youre guaranteed to step in something nasty or (in my case) catch your dogs eating something they shouldnt. Since people are too lazy to pick up after their dogs, skip the off leash area and just walk them on leash around the park instead.

Thought this would be a safe place to park our car and take our bicycles off to check out the town. When we turned our backs to get our helmets one of the bikes was stolen by two youths right in front of the community center. Brazen theft in the middle of the day with other people around. We ended up leaving the area disheartened.

Pretty nice park for kids of all ages. There are some bigger slides for the bigger kids. There is also a nice little pond to check out the ducks and nutras. Right next to the bayou. Plenty of walking trails.

I really love this park it is well- kept people are very nice. I like walking around to see the ducks in the squirrels and it is a very nice place for the kids to play. I recommend this part to anyone that wants to relax and just enjoy their self.

The play ground itself is nice, but New Iberia need to step it up for the kids with swimming pool access. Only one pool for so many kids. I gave a three because New Iberia needs to do more for the young kids. Every summer only one pool, everyone does not have access to transportation and I believe that we the older generation need to do something other than the boys and girls club. Again Everyone does not have transportation or can not afford to pay. All be bless.

Very nice place to hang out with friends and play basketball

Attended a wrestling match at the recreation center. Facility has adequate parking, good concessions. The building is starting to show its age, but is still good for what it is. The park is well laid out. Wish they would reopen the skate park to give young people another recreation option. Boat launch available too

Its a peaceful place

I love the park. Its very nice and big. The new editions to it are very nice and great for the park. I love to come here to walk and listen to music. Its a great place to get some reading done too. Its quite and peaceful. Its very well kept. Theres all kinds things to do and keep busy with. The ducks are awesome and so adorable. They come right up to you when you have food to feed them.

You may get hassled by local police before you can enjoy the park. Trash everywhere, very close to police station. This town is due for a makeover.
