Great outdoor art project. Amazing city park.

Spectacular park. Im went in there to turn around and go the opposite direction. Where those 15 seconds it was pretty dam nice very few people . I really enjoyed my drive to the 15 seconds was quite nice

My favorite walking spot in New Haven! Nice long wide paved path, usually not to many people there. If you start from Whalley, you first pass by tennis courts, usually people there enjoying themselves. Then exercise equipment.Then a skate park, this is the one part that scares me, usually lower class people there, graffiti all over, a lot of noise...Then you pass by a dog park. Then as you continue there many trees, some small pathways, that go to the sides, can walk along the river, there are some nice bridges, and built path ways. You pass under a street, theres too much graffiti on the tunnel/bridge. As you go, there is this huge pond, with ducks all over, nice bridges, seen people fish here before, dont know if they found anything or if its even legal... But its a really nice spot.Further theres water shoots, where kids play in, and a play ground.The ranger house and bathrooms appear to be permanently closed, but I dont know, forsure wasnt every opened whenever I was there.

This place is sad. Poorly maintained, dirty not fun.

Enjoy the wildlife and nature the most high has thought of everything.

Nice place to go for a walk. Bring the kiddies to play in the park or go fishing... Or just sit in ya car and chill.

I would often visit this park as a child. The natural beauty of this park is breath taking.

Great park, lots of shade from trees. Some seating available and great for outdoor events.

Every time I go for a walk or to meet people this place brings me back in time with the atmosphere of our soothing mother nature.

Very lovely park with walking trails (paved and unpaved), playground and skate park, workout area, and seating. It was lovely to visit the goats being used as natural ivy control!

Went to the farm stands to use the vouchers for fruit but didnt have much things to get there

A great place to walk alone or hang out with friends. Generally safe and very big. Has an outdoor playground for kids thats fairly large, sprinkler system for kids to play in during the summer, skate park and hosts summer camp for local residents.

I played suicide (Wall-ball) for a couple of hours. Great day!

Great place to get some headspace. Bring your dogs!!

Its a State park with some of the most beautiful birds in Ct. Not to mention the addition the off the chain skateboard park! Bananas. Dog Park, Ducks, Trailes for runners, Pavement for cyclists, Tennis and Basketball courts... But most importantly the trees. Being one with nature, and the best oxygen money cant buy. £

Love edgewood park feeding the ducks..the long walks the skating ring...the animals once Saw a great big beautiful deer in the park and she had her baby deer with her I didnt have my camera a great place to walk your dog as well. They also have a park area for the kids to play with water in the summer its beautiful

Really cool park in New Haven to walk, bike, jog, have a picnic. There were 2 sketchy guys who called out to me. Just ignore if that happens to you.

I missed going to the park. It was a great time with my Goddaughter. She attends a art group for children at the park. She loves it! The teachers are really great with the children.

Went bike riding with my son, this park provides a paved pathway for a walk, run, or bicycle ride.

Great park. They have goats eating the knot weed, a charming Sunday farmers market, and some really nice paths.

Great farmers market on Sundays. Fresh produce and a very good deal for SNAP card users. Very friendly vendors and usually music in the gazebo.

If your kid loves to fall and get it in, why not enjoy this skate park !!!

So when we moved to the neighborhood a few years ago it was a decent park. Now it looks like the city has forgot about it. The water isnt even turned on and its almost July.

Great place to hang-out annd go for a walk but, DONT go after dark.

Its a beautiful place. Nice space for children, the trails and the bridges are wonderful. But its like no one takes care of the place. Everything looks so unkept, especially the dog park.

Great park. Its pretty big too. Its got playgrounds, a bunch of open fields, great for jogging, basketball, theres even a skate park. Check it out!

It has a nice farmers market on the weekends and its a nice little park in new haven

Beautiful park, but dangerous. Certain black males will smoke drugs in their cars at the basketball court & offer these drugs to young under aged girls and boys. I saw this happen summer 2017. The teens turned down the offer and kept walking to their parent. However this should not occur in the first place. I took a picture of their lisence plate. Rangers and police should patrol the basketball court area more often than they do.

Good skatepark, no full bowl but has water fountain.

Lovely park with tennis courts on one side, fountain, pond, and playground. Park is divided into different sections by a major road. On Sunday mornings there is an awesome farmers market on the whalley avenue side. The playground includes a fenced off area with equipment for very young children. There are also swings here.

Its okay, some people lets their dogs poop on the tennis courts and dont clean up after them.

Great place for a walk, cast, or bird watch. Juvenile bald eagle, wood duck, osprey.. Great Blue herons...

Edgewood Park offers a lot of space. There is a problem with blatent substance abuse. Not use, abuse. There are people that drink to excess. They leave liquor bottles in plain sight. Its a great space, but something needs to be done about the alcoholism problem. There are children, and parks and rec allows that kind of behavior. That is not okay.

One would be surprised at diversity of wildlife in this inner-city park. Check it out

It has both a dry park and splash pad. There r picnic tables and other places for u to sit out of the sun. Plus there trails u can walk though. My 3 yr old grandson had a great time. Everyone is very friendly and the kids were very respectful.

This place needs a full overhaul! Nothing for children, dirty, and drugs are rampant. I think the town needs to move to the tennis and basketball courts to another place, or make it a park just for sports and the skate park is not safe with drugs around and bums! No swings, bums living under the bridge, the park needs HELP! You have goats with ticks and carry posion ivy! Then seeing 2 parents doing iv drugs while there kids played with goats was horrible!

So many bugs. Does not get landscaped. Homeless living in the park and inappropriate activity happening all the time. Not very safe.
