Great little venue! We won tickets to see Sinbad! Only down side was they only opened 1 door to let everyone in and out was super crowded!

Great venue for these intimate concerts. Bought the jazz series, four concerts over 4 months. The audience really gets into it. Good night out in a nice setting at SCSU

The Lyman Center a blessing to the community and the students that attend Southern University. The Lyman Center offers so much entertainment for a quality price, the diversity is amazing. I am thankful the Lyman Center exists. Cant wait for next years line up! Great job to students, faculty, and staff!

Just came from friends of Rudolph day of giving at the Adanti Student Center & the kids had a blast!

From what I saw it it looked lovely. We attended my brothers graduation here.

Programs are outstanding, seating is horrible. Only comfortable chairs are the ones on the front row.

Love the jazz series but the Vincent Ingala, Paul Taylor and Michael Lington show was a waste of time. 1 hr 13 minutes. Shortest show Ive ever been to and I have season tickets

Saw Comedian Tom Segura there, it was Absolutely the best place to see a comedian!! Not a bad seat Anywhere!!

We saw a show performed by the Tia Russell dance studio students and they were excellent last night on February 1st 2019

I attended a fashion show here. There are many events held at Lyman Center. It is possible to see your favorite Jazz musician, standup comedian or a slight of hand magician here. Lyman Center is on the campus of Southern CT State University. See a show and check out the campus if you are looking at colleges. There is sufficient parking.

I work close by and has been to many shows at Lyman center. Great show year long.

Saw Rick Braun Euge Groove and Peter White Christmas show tonight. Holy moly what a great show. Saw each of them individually but never together. Four spring shows go on sale Feb 2. Mark your calendar

Temperature was much too warm. Air conditioning was not working properly. Had to leave before performance ended due to uncomfortable room temperature.

Ive been to this venue several times for concerts. The college has a great schedule of artist.

What a great space. The staff was super friendly. Parking was a snap. while yale just minutes away.

Auditorium is nice but seating very uncomfortable and not made for the average size person let alone someone with longer legs and a little bigger than average.

Seats made for tiny people. If youre over 6 feet tall dont plan on being comfortable

Sound quality at the Euge Groove concert was horrible. We sat second level towards the right side of the stage. You could not understand what the singer was singing nor could you understand what the artists were saying when they talked. The sound was also terrible. If you dont get seats in the middle of this venue, dont go. Weve seen shows with better sound at the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun with Dave Koz, Peter White and Brian Culbertson. I wish this concert was at that venue, it would have been much more enjoyable. I feel bad for the entertainers, they are great musicians. I will not return here unless the seats we get are in the middle of the stage.

Great theater small in size so always easy to get a great seat. Dont have to deal with large crowds. General admission.

Lyman Hall at Southern Connecticut University is a wonderful venue for concerts most of the seats in the House are very acceptable as far as visibility of the stage and the performers and the quality of the concerts is exceedingly High

Decent sized, however the seats are extremely uncomfortable, small, and too close together.

There for granddaughter dance recital practice. Handicap parking way too far away.

A group of us saw Vincent Ingala on December 10th. We saw him the year before as well. What a great show (both times), but what a great venue! I LOVE going to the Lyman Center for a show (been there 6 times maybe?). All seats are great, prices are reasonable, and downtown New Haven with sooooo many restaurants is just a few minutes away with something for every taste and budget. If you havent been to the Lyman Center, find a show to go to.
