Sad to see nothing happening at Cascade park. Too see the swimming pool abandoned. Had many great memories at Cascade park. I remember when they did the hunted house around 1990. Many great memories with my Dad and siblings. Should do another hunted soon. I think it will be a great turnout.

It was a pleasant experience. Who knew that paradise was only 3 blocks from my terrarium. It has green trees, a waterfall, commemorative placing and... Just that much closer to serenity.

The kids had a great time jumping the cliff with other people enjoying the attraction too. Beautiful picnic spot

Cool older park with some good walking. The waterfall is cool, but hard/discouraged to get to the bottom for a closer look. A lot of people using the roads for walking and running exercise. A little ice cream shop that we didnt try, but it was very tempting. The 3-star rating is mostly related to how difficult it was to get close to the waterfall. The rest of the park is neat and worth a visit!

Come for the Pokémon Go. Stay for the scenery. Very nice place for a walk.

Very cool place to spend an hour or two. Needs a little up keep done but loved the water falls, needs a little trimming of the brush to see them but an nice little stop along the way.

I was really disappointed that other dog owners couldnt clean up after their pets. It really makes it bad for other dog owners. There should be some fun activities for the dogs to play on too.

Go to see this historic (use to be) amusement park from the 1890s til around 1986.

Great park with an awesome chilling spot under the waterfall. If ever in the area stop by and check it out.

Very peaceful place and its fun to look at all the vintage stuff there, its also a good place to go if you like using Pokémon Go.

Smaller park with a dog park and a nearby armory. Hiking trails, a baseball field, and small playground. Restocked with fish during fishing season. Theres a gazebo area, great to rent for birthday parties (during the summer at least), and theres grills on location, as well as a restroom. Theres also usually holiday activities. Great for kids or the occasional weird teen friend group.

Lovely little place to walk around and enjoy the beautiful waterfalls. My kids had a great day there!

Great winter photography in this location! Hope to return in the summer to slop in that stream.

Things could be better taken care of.As of 2020 I understand that not much is open,but and area that could be taken care of and used as a swimming pool for the community should not be a dumping ground for trash and scrap

Great place to take a morning walk

What a nice clean park..I had a meeting at the outdoor pavilion and it was a well maintained area.

Love love love taking my kids here to play hike catch crayfish and tadpoles and teach them about the diffrent animals. Also last week we had bread and carp come up andnate bass there are also about 15 ducks we feed. Its a beautiful place for families to go have fun and they keep it well maintained. I absolutely have no bad things to say my children and i love to go on are free time and there is always diffrent things to do they have bathrooms also and at the top they have a ninas italian ice so you can cool down there is gazebos and tables tonrelax and have a picnin even a place to play bocce for the adults while you children cannplay on the swings and slides right next to you. Never a bad experience here.

Ill give this place a 4 because I guess its a decent place to talk a walk or take your kids to the playground. That being said I really didnt find the abandoned amusement park aspect to really be that interesting, which is what I came for. Just a few locked up buildings, empty pools, and thats about it tbh. If youre looking for some urb ex type stuff this really isnt it, unless I missed something idk.

Came to view the waterfall and alone the falls give it 5 stars! There was pne large fall over 30 feet and some smaller ones as well...great stop!

I really enjoyed visiting this place but i do feel that it deserves more articles on its history and such. But the sounds and views here still remain incredible.

This is such a beautiful place to take a walk. It is also the best place to play Pokemon go! In the area.

The Christmas displays were very nice. All of the lights were bright & in great working order. It was well worth the $5.00 admission.

Very relaxing. We visit at least a couple times a month and have attended several events. Our dog loves to smell all the smells. The hiking trail is nice - but we bring walking sticks for the steeper slopes.

People need to stop leaving trash its sad its a real nice place its a place of honor of the fallen and history I ended up throwing trash away, trash can all over to use but dont hurt yourself to put in but yes to good for you right.

Love to feed the squirrels there.

Small but well kept playground with lots of shade. My kids loved the variety of slides and swings. Peaceful park with a stream running through it!

Definitely a hidden gem of the area. Great for a relaxing walk or to reflect upon the memorials there.

There is a nice little waterfall you can see from a lookout. There is a playground. There is what appears to be an old abandoned swimming pool and some other run-down buildings.

Nice walk, fish, or just to drive through

Love Cascade Park it is always a pleasure to go there. Love peaceful and quietness love to listen to the brook. Grandchildren love to play in the playground and go and play in the water it is always a very peaceful time relaxation something I dont get very often.

This is a really nice park in New Castle Pennsylvania. It is old and you can tell that it used to thrive however it is still very nice. It also has a 3 fenced in dog parks

I enjoyed the trails.

We went to the dog park, it was clean and very nice. They have 3 large separate fenced in spaces. The fences are about 6 foot tall, and double gated. With bags to pick up your dogs business.

The dog park is really nice. The middle section is always locked up for whatever reason and theres no water source. Doesnt seem very busy but so far Ive had good experiences with other people. Would be great if there was shade of some sort and water for the thirsty dogs.

This is a really nice relaxing place to go and have a picnic with the family our just take a walk.

I love going here for walks, peace and quiet when I need to study, pictures, and for the annual Back to the 50s. This is a well-kept park with beautiful landscapes and a large waterfall. The hills make it perfect for walking as it provides a challenge. The trees provide enough cover from the road that you dont really hear traffic either.

Beautiful park with a creek, picnic areas, bocce court, and a small playground. I love the rumbling sound of the water running down onto the bedrocks before rushing into the creek. I walk around the park but NOT on the actual walking trailIt has a beautiful woodsy walking trail that Im afraid to walk on because it is overgrown and dense. It appears that this walking trail is NOT safe and NOT maintained at all! If it was safe and well maintained I would be walking on it on a regular basis

An interesting place that has a forgotten Americana feel to it. A lot of people kind of just hanging and a little dirty in places with discarded clothes and trash.

Beautiful just wish the gates were open more often. And theh would make the bocce players park else where. It makes it hard to get around when theres games.

Park itself a gem. Need to get that pool going for the kids. It would really cause people to get involved in other activities at the park. Beautiful place to picnic. Its a nice place to take the kiddos and have picnics. It is usually not a busy place and unfortunately not well maintained, but, it seems as though Comcast (oddly) might be helping g revive some of the pool area (just speculation from what I saw the other day). For the purposes of a hike and cookout and running the kiddos down its a fantastic place.Just wish some of the old parts where maintained. Places I remember as a kid have pretty much been eroded away or grown over.

Great all around park. Great for small kids bc it has a playground. Great for dog walking and people. It has some hills so its a good little workout. There are also multiple poke stops and gyms all within walking distance inside of the park. People of all ages go there .

Nice place! Bigger than I thought it would be. Has a nice creek, food stand, playground and nice walking area.

Cascade is a good local park. I like to let my dog run around there, I go during the day so its never too crowded. I am new to the area and was able to meet people easily, three months later I meet one other girl with her dog once a week. Great place to run or set up a blanket and read.

A beautiful park with many sights and activities to offer. The waterfall is spectacular and offers great view.

Pretty fun, not very large but theres a playground plenty big enough for kids. Nice scenery to.

Beautiful scenic area.

This place doesnt have much to offer beyond some beautiful scenery for a nice summers day to just relax. this former amusement part still has the concrete foundations from the rides that are long gone. There is remnants of a roller coaster that once wove back and forth across the creek that cuts through the park.The park feels like at any moment you are going to smell the popcorn and hear the rumbling of the rides in motion and the excitement and fear filled cheers from the riders while you see the skeletal remains of this one time thrill park.
