Stunning stainless steel 36 ft High Madonna Virgin Mary

I was traveling from NJ to Northern VA and thought to check out a few listed Roadside Attractions - this did NOT disappoint ...-Seriously you need to check this statue out .. if you are heading south on the NJ/DE turnpike - its right there you can see it just as you pass through the toll booth .. on the right .. BUT you have to make your exit BEFORE that .. this thing is HUGE!

Even if you are not very religious and you find that you have spare time as your passing thru New Castle, Delaware I recommend that you stop by the shrine that stands alongside Holy Spirit Church and enjoy the ambience as you gaze at this 32 Thirty Two foot statue of the Our Lady Queen of Peace designed and sculpted by Charles Parks. It is one of three and the third of its kind in the country. Now if you dont have time to stop you cantake a quick glance at the statue that is clearly visible to all who travel over the Delaware Memorial Bridge on Interstate 295 Southbound, just if you do this be extreamly careful remember you are driving a automobile so pay attention to the road on second thought just stop by it is well worth the (5) Five minutes to take a look.

Beautiful church

My family has been going to mass here since I can remember. I went to school here and loved it. I can remember when you couldnt find seat in this beautiful church. I have so many wonderful memories. Weddings, confirmation, school plays, I could go, on and on. I moved to NJ 10 years ago and miss going to mass here. I would recommend to anyone if they would like to attend mass. Please go to Holy Spirit. Light a candle or pray to the beautiful virgin Mary outside.

Very nice church. Father Nolan is the best. The church never seems crowded and the people there are very friendly. Plenty of parking.

The service here is terrible! They make you kick people out of the party when there’s still room for more. I honestly do not recommend renting this hall. Their workers are so disrespectful
