Awesome park with a perfect walking or running trail along the outer periphery. Good for moderate cardio since unlike Johnson Park this is not a flat path. Also there is plenty of parking along the road that runs through the park.

This park is absolutely beautiful. Enjoy a family picnic under a huge wooden pavillion, or if your in the mood to work out, there are walking paths and a circuit workout station near the gazebo where you can sit and relax. Or head over to the Buccleuch Mansion and read about its rich history

With the gyms closed due to pandemic. This is a great park to get your workout/fitness going. Waking/Jogging is really nice at the location tho it’s hot the best part are the huge trees for shade. Everyone here is following 6-feet rule when walking. It’s great to be with nature again. Totally with going too :)

Its a great park within the city limits of New Brunswick. There is plenty to keep you occupied - baseball diampnd, tennos courts, swing sets, workout area. More importantly, you are able to spend quality family time while social distancing.

This park has it all! Playgrounds for the kids, dedicated walking areas, picnic areas and a brand new work out area! You can connect to a special app to see workouts and track your fitness. This park is huge and seems to not have enough parking, however you have room to park off the side of the road if need be. Parking on the grass is frowned upon. One other perk about this park is that it is close to Rutgers!

Very nice place for walks, I just wish there was more shade! The walking path just ends by the tennis courts and I had my baby in a stroller so I didnt want to walk along the street. The walking path is mostly small, loose gravel but it wasnt too bumpy or difficult pushing a stroller on it.Theres a cool fitness area that reminds me of CrossFit as well--there are rings and boxes and places you can do ab work--the first Ive seen of its kind!

I love to come to this park for runs. It has a great trail for doing a quick mile, 5K or just some speed training or short run. It is close enough to Johnson’s Park and you can extend your run into Johnson Park for longer runs with different scenery through the run.I’ve had the fun of spotting deers as I loop around the bushy parts on the George Street side of the Park. The gardens in front of the great house are very beautiful in the spring and summertime, and worth seeing.

Living within skipping (or even rolling) distance from this place, I can easily say its my favorite park within central Jersey. Theres a myriad of spaces for activities throughout included but not limited to a fitness trail, basketball court, volleyball net with sand, tennis courts, fields for soccer or football, baseball diamonds, and a playground. Theres also statues, gardens, gazebos and other common areas for gathering within. If youre in New Brunswick and looking to find a safe place to bring your kids or have a picnic in the grass, you neednt look any further.

Park is bigger than it looks from the street. Plenty to explore. Great place for walking, running, biking. Or playing various sports on the courts and fields. Quiet a bit of animals like deer and rabbits. The street parking is a little weird with cobblestone ditches on the side where you need to park) and the park navigation could be clearer (a few maps with a you are here dot, signs marking the park entrance for cars, signs showing which way to walk for things, signs indication it is okay to park)

Decent sized park with softball, tennis and basketball and baseball courts. It also has nice places to picnic and to perform other activities. Street parking is the main option available and there is a limitation on the amount of time you can park. There are several entrances available as well from various sides. The grounds are well kept to be in the middle of a urban areas. It is a decent walk, but close enough to various restaurants on Easton Ave.

Its a nice park. Highly recommend it for 5k training and mid to long distance running.
