Clasky Common Park

Nice and relax. I visited for the first time to feed the squirrels and I loved how a nice park it is. You could see people walking their dogs, exercising or in their bikes.

Beautiful, nice well kept park, perfect place for nighttime walks to get a breath of fresh air thru covid! My son and I live this park :) p.s. lot of Pokemon too! lol..

It was cool, there were cute squirrels everywhere so that was a plus. 8/10 would recommend. Only reason its an 8 is because of the broken glass and trash around the park. :)

Very beautifully decorated. It was great to see all the people enjoying the Christmas lights, sipping on hot chocolate and eating brownies and cookies that was provided free while listening to carolers singing classic holiday songs. A beautiful night .

The Common Park is a small, yet well laid out Municipal Park with old growth trees in the center of New Bedford that has character...

Great place to walk and relax and let the kids have fun on the playground and the sprinkler on those hot dog days of summer.

One of my favorite parks in the Newbedford area. Plenty trees great for walking for exercise. Or a to enjoy the day.

I live right down the street from here and in the early mornings, I go for walks around the place. Very beautiful statues and very wide-open. Its right across the street from a school and in the winter, they display wonderful Christmas lights.

Fairly clean park, playground could use some repairs especially as there are some sharp hazards. Also, more fencing would be a nice addition to the playground area to keep little ones from being able to dart to the side street. Grass is kept well. Wintertime brings a beautiful story-like display that can make most people feel happy and warm walking through even in frosty weather.

Farmers market here on Saturdays.

Love this park! Its super cute for a short little walk and during the winter time they have a lovely light display.

A peaceful afternoon in the park includes visiting the memorials that are scattered throughout. During the summer you can watch the kids have a rousing game of basketball

Great Christmas lights show

Me and jon had a good time it sucked that thier was no working bubbler we actually drank sprinkler water until les Halle brought me a water bottle .then my daughter chichi brought us some cold juice .we fed a baby squirrel a cheese Danish and it loved it .i feel real good even tho i spent 7 hours thier .Thank God .

I went here for the Farmers market they have every Saturday from 10am - 2pm there was only two stands Im hoping it was due to the weather. Wasnt much too chose from at all., But the people were very friendly and helpful. I got some fresh veggies so Im grateful for that. Planning on returning next week hopefully there more to choose from.

Its a few steps away from me and its a New Bedford Beauty. Especially at Christmas time!! And a place the St Laurence church bells might end up at!

The park was well maintained, the playground had stuff for very small kids and bigger children as well! Theres also sprinklers built in to an area there so the kids can cool down during the summer which is great since theres no pools in the area! The playground was clean, no trash, beer cans or anything like that, and its on the bus line! In my opinion the best park and playground in New Bedford!

I grew up at that park! Very peaceful and clean. Nice lit up basketball court and playground with sprinkler! Nice place to walk your dog, read a book or bring the kids for play and free summer lunch program!

Clean park. Not in a great neighborhood but the Christmas lights are extremely pretty every year. They have a playground and basketball court. Most of it is hilly grass; great fit picnics, tag, and King of the Hill.

Had a great time with my children and really enjoyed having a NBPD cruiser parked directly across from the playground. Felt safer with him there.

Been going there for years and still do. Good place to go enjoy the sun or shade. There is a basketball court, kids playground and water sprinkler to keep cool and summer lunch for the kids.

This is a perfect little park,sit down relax take a walk around the park for exercise or just to walk nice clean playground plenty of benches so parents can watch their children,a splash pad to cool off definitely a nice neighborhood park

The park itself is okay, I like that they have sprinklers and the basketball court but not much of a playground. It is a nice park though

Very nice park went to the farmers market there on Saturday they didnt have a lot its kind of early yet but I love going to the farmers market there in the summer

Great Christmas display, some of which they still have from when I was a kid. Beautiful homes on the south side of the park facing north. Unfortunately not the best neighborhood.

Great park always has shade with a nice breeze. Popular for walking dogs. Lots of benches.

Playground and sprinklers in summer. They have a basketball court. Nice grounds and beautifully decorated at Christmas. The only drawback is you may run into a few drug addicts but that seems to be the case at most parks in the area.

Super awesome place to go exercise and relax.

Nice park with lots of room to run and play.steep hill for sleding in the winter.and shaded park benches in the summer.theres a watter sprinkler for kids to play in on hot days.and basketball court to play.a play ground for smaller children.be sure to check area of play ground for sharp objects.

Small park needs to be monitored better because Ive come across syringes laying around and this is a play ground for children.

Beautiful park and got a nice nature feel in the dead center of the city beautiful landscape and nice park and basketball court and on christmas a beautiful display of lights for no charge to visit done by local highschool students..and random activity s thru out the summer...take a walk or relax an breathe....despite what people may say of this beautiful historic city its home and just like any where in life you mind ur bussiness and enjoy yourself the most ull get is a guy asking for a ciggerette or change....thatll be in any cityyy any where....new bedford is beautiful and it is home nomatter where you are from...it has that vibe
