It was really neat to sit in the actual place where the whalers used to sit for their spiritual services. There was also tons of interesting info and artifacts. A real piece of history.

Lots of history in this place. Really neat to sit where Herman Melville did as he was writing Moby Dick:

I loved knowing Melvilles pew is in the southwest corner. The fair winds blow from there, mostly, warm and lingering.

A very stunning location with historical plaques around the walls and a very unique podium shaped like the front of a ship. I unfortunately was there for a funeral service but it was a remarkable service due to the location. I would recommend the space for anyone.

I visited here in 1999, but remember the experiences I had vividly. There were two paranormal encounters that didnt scare me, but was rather amused by it.

If you want to feel like you have been transported back to the days of schoolers and whaling ships, this is your place. Be sure to go upstairs and see the cenotaphs on the walls.
