Great place to go to have your kids play, play tennis, play field sports (nothing specific). My only issue is that there are not sidewalks or walkways all the way around. A water feature would make it a lot more fun, too.

Playground is a excellent place for children to play

Nice wide open areas. Great for picnicking or frisbee. The 2 tennis courts are in ok shape. Fine for casually hitting the ball around. There are some cracks that will give some wild bounces, and the courts have a considerable amount of leaves and acorns around the perimeter.

Went here for my moms birthday. We enjoyed ourselves got to see the Parthenon which was an exact replica of the original in Greece. Didnt know such fine art was located so close to home. Very spacious and family friendly.

Truly the definition of a public park. Gorgeous school as a backdrop, medieval fights on the weekend and soccer, food trucks, never know what youll find there.

This park is on Huge ginormous square! So you park on the side that has what you need. If you play soccer then youll love this park. Great big open green grass for two games at same time. They even have a baseball diamond with backstop and bleachers! Plenty of space to bring blanket to picnic and watch a game. On weekends during Nashville sports league game soccer there are about 4 to 5 food trucks who come regularly on weekends during game time generally from 11am to 5pm or later depending on crowds and when games end and sun goes down since no lighting available. Trucks selling everything like snowcones, fruit cups, wraps, burgers and I even saw a lobster truck. Also great place for the LARPers (live action role players) on Sundays starting about 1pm.Update: They do have great play ground area (sitting in gravel pit for safety) slide, swings, climbing equipment etc., on south end of park for kids. Lots of moms with strollers and dogs on leashes ( snow cone stand sells pup cup of chicken broth snowcone for your pooch! Porta Pottys are found 1 on each side of the square park. Also 2 to 3 picnic tables on each side of the square park. Someone mentioned grills, but I never saw any as I drove around. See pics of Food truck options, NSL soccer and LARPs going on Aug 2017!

Wide open grassy field, with limited parking, but a great place to stop if you need to escape the rush of traffic. Or for a wuick quiet monent.Trees provide shade which also makes it an ideal lunch spot.

It was great hanging out with family at the park. And the food trucks that were there were amazing! Especially Meadow Melts! There was an incident where someone’s car got broken into. And the police took way to long to get there.

The soccer pick up game was good and there was also volleyball and frisbee golf going on at the same time. The field was in great shape and everyone was friendly.

Nice playground with a good slide, big and little kid areas close together, and a sandbox of sorts. Downsides are that its not fenced in, when the school next door lets out its overrun with big kids, and the parking situation is beyond lousy (official parking is clear across the park with no stroller trail from it to the playground and street parking is minimal, tenuous, and overrun when school is about to let out).

Its a great park in the spring but when it gets warm you want more tree coverage

Great food when the trucks were there. The people attracted to the park varied from normal families, to furbies, to renaissance play actors, to no hablo ingles soccer players, to antifa goofs.

Big open space but since its attached to a highschool, I witnessed multiple altercations from highschoolers cursing each other out and throwing a girl on the floor. Didnt feel safe having my kids play there.

As far as parks go its pretty average. BUT there is LARPing on Sundays and that alone makes it one of the GOATs

Awesome Park

Great place to sit and enjoy some fresh air or have a picnic. There are food trucks that set up here on the weekends. And for those who play Pokemon Go, there are 3 pokestops in the park, one across the street and a gym at the church nearby.

Perfect place in the city to walk or play fetch with your dog !! Great place for frisbee wth friends too.

Food Truck Saturday is a ton of fun! Now if theyd just bring back the park benches, it would be easier to linger and eat while sitting instead of having to stand.

Nice space near West End with some reservable fields (softball or soccer) and (at least according to my kids) some great playground equipment. Just needs more parking options and regular food truck appearances.
