Gay pride was awesome this year!! Lots of people enjoying being themselves. The square is a nice spacious area with 2 stages, lots of space for vendors. Had a great time.

Easy to access in the heart of downtown Nashville. It is so beautiful!

Clean and well maintained area on beautiful location.

The park is a great public area right in the middle of downtown, north of Broadway. Love all the fun concerts and events they use the space for! We stopped by on sunday before our flight home and got to try some of the local food trucks as well, perfect way to end the trip. Super easy to get to via tide share as well, or scoot scooting.

Exploring the area and discovered this cool public square with an interesting juxtaposition of a classic old government building with Roman pillars and the modern design of what seems to be similar to a triumphant arch... but i believe was an elevator to lower level parking. And I found the yellow spray paint on the street amusing. That may not be there when you visit the area

Was there at night, but still lively with a party attitude.

Is there anyone that can tell me the diameter of the park circle? I am going to use it to start train up for an event and I want to know how many laps is a mile. Thank you and I love this place !!!

Loved live on the green. Plus the park is a small Oasis in the midst of the cosmopolitan life of Nashville. Accepting for both singles and families, it is inviting and the festival adds even more charm to the city life of Nashville.

This is a terrific park and I usually attend Nashville Pride here. I love that they allow it to take place here.

Great area to have a fun outing. The water is a great feature and its easy to line up the food trucks lol... So many venders for the spring event.

The observation deck here is one of the best views of the city at night. Truly wonderful spot to meet up to start a night out on the town!

Beautiful park

This was a nice spot for Live on the Green. The water features are really nice and all of the shade is lovely. If I lived or worked downtown I would definitely come on a regular basis. The festival security did check bags for drinks and they wanted me to pour out my ice water - the guy suggested I refill my bottle inside the park, saying something about a water fountain, but I was there several hours and didn’t see a single fountain at the park. Annoying, but I just bought a $2 bottle of water from the festival vendor which wasn’t too bad.

A fantastic, clean park for all of the great events in Nashville. Any event here will be well laid out, secure, have easy to access bathrooms and great lyft/uber drop points.

No water and elevators need work bad.

We went to the public square park as part of a marathon race and it is a great little green space with a water feature and lots of shady trees.

We come here frequently. Its great place when downtown to let the kids run around. Plenty of nice benches. Cool water features - the kids (and adults) can run through those too. The statues light up if you turn the wheels at their bases. The building is the old courthouse and city hall. There is reasonable parking if you look around. The public square parking garage is underground under the park. There are also plenty of metered spaces between this park and Riverfront park (Gay St, Bank St, and 1st Ave).

A lot going on! Plenty of places to go or choose from to fill any need you have. Great bars, good food, souvenir shops, etc.

Stopped here for an outdoor music event. Everything seemed well organized. Lots of food options and vendors to see.I imagine its not typically like that but if you happen to be there on a festival weekend which worth stopping by.

Love Nashville and all it has to offer. Its beautiful and vintage. Love that you can walk around the whole area. Hate that parking has to be paid for but its part of the city. Nice area to take your family. Lots of.activities near by as well.

The lawn of the court house is clean and a great place to view Nashville from. I went with some friends to the annual Cherry Blossom Festival and the park was clean and beautiful. The dancing fountain by the street is great for kids to play in and the tower at the far end of the park gives you a great view of the court house and the Batman building. Its a great place to go read a book or listen to music or even take pictures.

Absolutely beautiful scenery. Id recommend to everyone to check this place out.

Took my daughter out on dinner date Thursday and had a great time. The resteraunt was right down the street from the public square where Live On The Green was having opening night with The Strumbellas and many other excellent acts. Nashville is a fantastic place. Love coming here for live on the green each year. Theres a splash pad for kids to play in and lots of spots to stop and have lunch or take a break if youre walking around the city.

Very nice space for sightseeing, sitting and or outside meetings.

It is a beautiful national park with lot of car parking place... Good tracks for joggers and walkers.. Dog training, children play area for soccer, baseball available... Sports centre and serene place... Went many a time recently for making evening time pleasant...

Well where do I start? Lets start with our baggage did not come out at the carousel it was scheduled for, number 8. When they closed the door indicating no more luggage was coming out we started asking about it and they said old Carousel seven is down so its probably down at Carousel 6. We went down to Carousel 6 same thing none of our luggage and they shut the door again indicating no more was coming out. So we go back down to the baggage claim office and they scanned my ticket and said well it is here at the airport it just hasnt been scanned for the drop yet. Finally, after two more flights luggage whats delivered hours started coming out. It did come out on carousel number 8 it just took an hour from the time our plane landed to get our baggage.

I found it to be very relaxing.and it allowed me time to reflect on things whild there.

Music City Jazz festival downtown was Great!

It is a clean park right in the middle of downtown. The water features are nice and there are plenty of places to sit under trees with you family. As well as plenty of open, grassy space to have a picnic. You can easily walk to many location from here and there is parking underneath, making it very convenient.

This is a nice little park in front and sides of this building. Nice place to sit around . A lot of yound men.and younger kids smite board,and roller blades. Didnt know there was any of them left.

This is my second time going to Nashville Square I really enjoy this a nice atmosphere very open well-maintained the people in Nashville a very polite very welcoming we went for jazz concert and my wife and I really enjoyed it

Best place for a nice walk, or to play Pokémon Go!

Cherry Blossoms in the Spring

Awesome place! Events held here are always well organized and safe!

Its nice and really different from when I was a child.

Well manicured and easily accessible park in the heart of Nashville. While there isnt much to do, it is an enjoyable place to sit back and take a quick break and enjoy the river and views of downtown.

It looks kinda round to be called a square. The grass is always well manicured, especially difficult with the amount of traffic that comes through during concerts and rallies. Beautiful city views down 2nd Ave, up Demonbreun toward Legislative Plaza, and from the observation tower across the river toward the Titans Nissan Stadium. A couple of small water features including a splish splashable fountain running in the summer. Interesting sculptures scattered around, and a new installation currently in the works. Lots of local eateries nearby in walking distance. A few tiny picnic tables encourage an outdoor lunch break from the cubicle caves.

Went for Taste of Music City. Great venue, awesome event. Get there early to try and beat the lines. Had some great local food.

A great place to unwind and relax by yourself or with a significant other. A well guarded and safe place to feel comfortable to do things that you enjoy doing. A place where you and your friends or colleagues can go for an event to celebrate or honor the ones you love.

We were here for the Cherry Blossom festival and, despite it being rainy, it was still fun! Its good walking distance from parking and food.

Didnt know where to park, and traffic and parking in Nashville sucks! So drove by, couldnt pull off to find parking, said screw this traffic and headache and left town.If going to Nashville I would recommend that you plan out anything you want to do or see, plan the parking and how your going to get to places ahead of time, and plan to pay for parking by the hour (s).

Really cool place. It went down and seen the new Copenhagen shop. Its definitely worth a visit for any chewing tobacco enthusiast.

Lots of fun, but prepare for parking fiasco. The most convenient public parking starts at $25/hour, so be prepared for that or walk or take an uber or lyft. Lots of incredible little shops, fun bars, and food options. A must-see for those visiting Nashville.

I have been here a handful of times and loved it every time. Beautiful landscaping, and a very professional look.

Nothing like watching a homeless guy take a bath in the shallow pool of water in the middle of the day as you learn more about Nashville rich history. If you go to this location that’s what you will see more in likely. A lot of local businesses (Banks) have left the area and for this reason there an quite a few large vacant buildings. With the lack of foot traffic that was once there the city has taken a lackadaisical mindset with keep up with this area. Truly sad that there seems to be little hope for this area and the people who need it the most. Nice buildings and history as well, enjoy.

Nice flat and open space with a water feature youll often find children playing in. There are several events that occur here throughout the year. Some make great use of the space for a wonderful time. Though other events such as Live on the Green are a bit too large for the space.

I went during pride weekend and it was a blast, alot of amazing people and sights to see during that time.

Hes a picture of fraudsters conducting a public property auction Privately in plain clothes with no acknowledge of the auction inhibiting others who appeared to bid from participating. Pubic Square? Id rather meet at a Starbucks! Or the middle of a soccer field. Valueable real estate poorly servicing or community!

Always a great place for an event. Not happy with what you have to pay for parking. But very cool for the city.

Its nice area and the scenery is beautiful. The park is big and well maintained. I know they have concerts there so it seems to be very accommodating. Also its by the river so thats a nice plus as well. And downtown so plenty of places to eat and walk too!
