Loved this place. So much history and the tour guides were so informative. The gift shop is one of the best places to get unique souvenirs and everything is priced so reasonable! Check the timings before you go.

The guide knew what she was talking about. However, she did not speak loud enough and slow enough for everyone to hear. With that being said it was well worth the time and money.

Small house mansion from the civil war era. Good decent give lots history and local color. There are some interesting paintings and decorative arts. Allow maybe 45 minutes not because its so large but because the docents are chatty and enjoy sharing information and answering questions. Dont miss the gift shop. It has some hard to find books on local history and unique gift items. They also give talks so ask for the schedule for their free talks

Its centered inside college grounds, with little parking available. We went to the door and there was a sign to ring bell, be patient and someone will be there. No one ever came to the door to let us in. ..
