Very nice course. Lots of sand and water but it’s pretty open as well.

Beautifully kept course. Friendly staff from the gift shop to the valet to the drink cart. Sadly we got a Charlie Brown cloud over us and couldnt finish the back nine.

Great course in great shape. Good spacing between groups. Have a very attractive drink cart and two courtesy location on course for you comfort.

From start to finish, everyone was pleasant, happy and helpful. The course was well worth the drive from Ruskin and would do it again. I cant say anything negative about the course, from the first tee box until the 18th green it was a pleasure to play. I fully endorse the Rookery at Marco.

Tough course but the challenge is great. People from all areas were friendly.Pro shop was well stocked, restaurant staff were pleasant and beer and crispy wings were delicious.

Absolutely fantastic course. Very scenic but very fair and playable. In fantastic condition. Definitely check it out if you want a nice gold round in Naples or Marco Island.

Exquisite course and country club. Challenging but fun. Great staff and well kept driving range where you hit off the grass. Look forward to returning soon.

So many great things to say about this place:. Delicious food, wonderful setting, great personnel. You wont be disappointed. Try the crab cake and fish tacos.

Very nice course. Very playable, but has its challenges. Marriott courses are always beautifully maintained, this is no exception. The greens are in perfect shape and roll very nicely.Im not positive, but I think rookery is what they call a swamp here in Florida. Theres plenty of water and swamp-like areas around the course, plenty of wildlife too. Its the middle of rainy season in Florida, most courses are very wet, many have cart path only rules. With few exceptions, the course wasnt wet or soggy.

Youll need to stay at the Marriott Marco Island if you want to play this course, which is generally reserved for members and resort-guests only.Plenty of golfing challenge, a well-crafted design and usually good upkeep all contribute to the appeal of this course.

Wow... Perfect. A fair test. Not tricked up goofy golf. I think they cut every blade of grass by hand. Cant wait to come back.

I loved the course, it was in great shape, the greens where quick and the greens where fast as could be. On the down side, too many cigarette and cigar butts on the course. I havent seen that many in a long time.

Great golf experience. Unique grass specific to the beaches. Staff very helpful. We rented clubs and they were in good condition.

The course is in fantastic shape. A joy to play. Very good practice facilities and a good restaurant managed by Marriott. Highly recommend playing the course.

The golf course experience is far beyond normal the staff are extremely helpful and passionate and its always nice sunny and peaceful day on the course at rookery

Positives: staff was very friendly and the course was in great shape. Negatives: GPS on the cart went dim for the back 9 so I couldnt see the course layout. No signage so we had to guess where to go half the time. The course is jam packed (on a Thursday at 1...) so it takes over 4 hours to play. Had to wait 10 minutes per hole. Had workers hawking us for like 5 holes like we were holding ppl up or something when it was clearly not the case. Didnt appreciate that. Will not be back to play a slow ass pace and get hawked the whole time.
