Park Shore Resort exceeded my expectations. The landscaping is beautiful. There is a scenic boardwalk trail surrounded by a pond and waterfalls right in the middle of the resort. The pool is right next to a waterfall. The resort is located near several local parks, hiking trails, attractions, and the beach.
Check in was prompt and the staff friendly. Our unit was very clean (I did a wipe down of surfaces and my cloth was not dirty when I was done). While the room was a bit dated, we did not mind as we felt it was reasonably priced and we enjoyed the location.
The Park Shore condos are a good value for the area. I was able to reserve easily without fees associated with rental by owner companies. It was nice to have a kitchen and living space for about the same price as a hotel. The grounds are nice to walk around. The decor is of the 90s. I dont understand why an owner would want to keep such unsightly decor for so long. The toilets are small, and one of them didnt flush properly. The units have washers/dryers, but ours was locked so we couldnt use it. The master bathroom was tiny (think budget motel with the toilet and tub crammed in one little room). There was mildew in the shower. Dont know why they wouldnt spray it down with bleach between guests. I brought my own bleach for cleaning anyway. I think the place would get better reviews if the 2nd shift desk person was friendlier. She does come off as rude, as other reviewers mentioned.
Visit #2 this year, so I can compare. I have to say Park Shore resort is a very clean and quiet place, that has a great team looking after all aspects. Guest service is very professional. Rooms and the territory of the hotel meticulously well kept and maintained. We feel like being at home here. Both times we received more than we paid for. Thanks to the management team for their hard and honest efforts, we going to return to this beautiful paradise garden in the future. Plants, pond, flowers, turtles, ducks all of this transfers you to a middle of the jungle just a steps away from US 41 highway, a few minutes drive from Naples downtown and a gorgeous sea shore.
Very quiet and peaceful. Restaurant under construction but overall, great stay. Will come again.
As a former Naples resident, I was aware of Park Shore Resort and over the years had occasionally dined at the property. For a recent quick trip (during season!) I was hard pressed to find a property that would fit my budget and Park Shore was in the right range so I decided to give it a go. Definitely the right choice! I was shocked to walk into a spacious 1BR/2BA with full kitchen and lanai -- and the unit was SPOTLESS! I am a tough customer when it comes to cleanliness and the space was super clean and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay for just two nights -- I would absolutely return for a future stay. The Front Desk staff was very friendly and very helpful. The only down side was some noisy neighbors at nighttime but that was no fault of the property.
Great place to stay with the family. It has everything you need to have a good weekend with the family. Kitchen, BBQ area, pool and jacuzzi. Close to the beach and a small shopping plaza.
Been coming here for the past decade with my parents. Always loved this resort so chill and relaxed. The staff know my family well and always looked forward to seeing us again. The pool and hot tub are great, well looked after. Staff are very friendly and efficient. The rooms are crisp and clean, enough space for you to do whatever you want. Restaurants are near and generally well good. The resort has their own cat, Cupcake. Cupcake is adorable and very friendly, well liked by residents and respected as well. Also ducks and lizard pop up from time to time. Not much else I can say :) Looking forward to coming back next year!
The check-in process was easy, but the front desk staff at check-in could have bit a bit more friendly and less persnickety. One of the agents said that it is against fire code for me to have 7 people in my bedroom-which may be true, but I only had 6 and that is what my reservation was for. To be clear I told her exactly who was in staying in the room and she again counted 7 when it was only 6. And from there she proceeded to tell me that they switched me to two bedrooms and they upgraded me-I had to tell her, I paid for a two bedroom-oh was the response. Had a great time celebrating my daughters 13th birthday, property was beautiful! Personally think the pool closing at dusk (currently 7:00 pm) is a little early—no wiggle room there, someone comes and makes you leave). Got up to make breakfast and the oven did not work, nor did the burners. Maintenance was called was able to get the burners on and working, but oven was broken had to run and get microwaveable bacon (only had one pan to cook eggs and pancakes in), but all worked out and everyone had a great time and full belly. Front desk again was not helpful about the oven not working and said I needed to take it up with Expedia. Lack of experience was evident in her reply, simple fix could have been, “late check out, and enjoy the amenities at no additional charge for the day.”
The place was good to stay and go out of the hotel to do other activities. But if you do choose to stay in the hotel there are limited things to do. The pool is nothing crazy and the sports arent for everyone. The rooms are cozy.
Loved this place!!!Front desk person was amazing and she even remembered me which room next day when I needed anything.Very nice, roomy, clean... Room was great as well as island in the middle od this resort was nice :)We loved the pool, spa, BBQ area and it was a lot of fun!We would definitely pick this place when we come back to Naples.
Family oriented. My favorite secret hideaway. Staff and room are always as expected. Nice walks around the resort
Nice pool, friendly service. These are privately owned rentals in a rental pool. Dated decor but very comfortable. Loved the location!
Favorite place to stay close to beaches clean tropical setting never disappointed
Incredible scenery and quiet! They upgraded our room and gave us the best view on the property it seems. We watched turtles playing, listened to the multiple waterfalls, sunken gardens through out, HUGE grilling area, pool, spa..plus more! There restaurant with live music was also very charming and romantic. Definitely would recommend room #137
Very clean very nice people property is very wonderful beautiful place with a lot of peace
Is what you want mark this easy to find whatever you looking for
Tend to agree with others in its former life it stood well but looking a little tied now, saying that we had a pleasant stay and it was clean, the lift was super slow but all in all a positive experience and wouldnt be put off booking again if we were staying in the area.
Park Shore Resort is in a good location close to restaurants, local shops and in a quiet residential area. The swimming pool area is well maintained and the gardens are lovely. The 2 bedroomed apartment we had was very dated and in need of modernising. It felt tired.
Great place to stay with family because it had a full kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms.Pool was great for young and old.
We liked to go to the ocean and be out during the day and then come back to enjoy the hot tub but we couldnt because it was closed. We were not happy about that. We just wanted to hang out in the hot tub to wind down at night and we couldnt because it was closed
This place has the feel of a once great resort whose brilliance has faded since other more opulent places have become the norm. Its unpretentious and accommodating with an oasis in the middle of the apartments. Water fountains and wildlife, free coffee in the morning, and clean towels make it an effortless vacation spot. Too bad that the sauna isnt open.
This was a great place to stay,sun deck,bbq deck,hot tube deck,pool, restaurant,then a short drive maybe a mile to Clam Beech.Helpful staff.
We arrived 11pm Friday and woke up to our door not locking. They were able to move us to a new room. When we got back at night the AC wasn’t working. Wendy at the front desk said she couldn’t fix it. Once she found out we were the guests with the door issue, she was able to find maintenance. Eventually they arrived and fixed it. Wendy and the manager, Brian, were very rude and unaccommodating. Maintenance was very pleasant to work with. I do not recommend staying here!
The condos were roomy and clean. I had a couple small issues, but maintenance fixed them right away when I reported them. The pool and restaurant were both great.
Quiet, comfortable, easy to find, very clean, good neighbourhood, and very friendly.
Nice rooms. Good location
Cool area. Nice to walk around and take in the natural beauty .
Very nice. We enjoyed the onsite amenities, pool and restaurant.
Is not at walking distance to beach. Had to drive for 10 min to get to the sea.
Property is nice, but pool closes at dusk. Restaurant on location with excellent service & food. Some of the lighting was not working, so it was very dark & I was not comfortable walking around at night.
Great location and amenities. The restaurant at the pool has nice food and drinks
This is a great place to stay for vacation! Very clean and staff is great! Beautiful scenery to take pictures. Nice pool We stay here every time we go on vacation
Very nice casual dining. A little pricey but good food
Very comfortable, roomy, and convenient location for our planned activities in Naples. The on-site restaurant was quite good, and we had the added bonus of a full kitchen.
My family had stayed here often since I was a kid. Came back for a short stay with my own kids and extended family. Our unit was super dated. One toilet didnt flush properly. Broken easy chair upon arrival. AND broken dining chair. Other little things in kitchen missing a lot of cooking basics. We were at the front desk for one thing after the next! On the plus side, grounds are nice but the main thing is a great location in Naples! We Groumds
Super accommodations! Everything you will need and more! Very clean and Wendy at the front desk will make sure you are taken very good care of. Hope to visit again.
Of course it doesnt hurt to be one of the owners either. Great job on the pool renovation and the exterior is starting to take shape. Julio is mannaging the complex with a great deal of gusto. Keep up the great work!
Great place to rentLocated in the middle of Naples. Beautiful resort. We have rented #103 and 148 with I-Trip. Both Apartments are in a good shape and well designed. We will definitely come back.
Tropical paradise!! I love this place. Walking distance to the beach.
The furnishing seemed old, but maybe that is their style,,,The grounds are beautiful and tranquil.I would stay there again!Good for big family outings or get togethets!
Clean rooms, host was really pleasant and Hospitable. All is as shown on brochure. Had an excellent stay and vacation. Exersize room good, adequate, enough machine to hold up your daily exersize routine. Very peaceful and serene. Full kitchen, Plubix supermarket just down the street, dining room, view of lake, island restaurant walk across bridge. Had a good time Highly recommended
Return visit. Suits our needs perfectly. Good location.
Staff was just ok, construction going on. Wouldnt go back.
I could not stay here. Im 61 and 260 lbs. I cannot comfortably sit on those outdated, small, round toilets. They let me check three different rooms and all six toilets were the same 1950s style toilet. I would love to rate the place higher as everyone at the front desk that I spoke with was legitimately trying to be helpful. I simply could not stay there.
The carpets were extremely dirty and the room smelled like mildew. One good carpet cleaning would probably fix this issue. The mattress in the main bedroom was as hard as wood.
We liked the fact that free tea and coffee was available in reception each morning and enjoyed using the gym and pool.
The garden and piol area was very nice. We were at the end of thr propert away fron the pool and restaurant but this was ok as we could enjoy the walk through the property each day. Location was convenient to other things jn the area
I’ve been coming here a week a year, my whole life. I love it!
Great accomodation. Great Bed, kitchen, location, parking, staff, space, bathrooms, views, outside areas, barbeque.Just Fantastic!Sofas were uncomfortable (my only criticism).
I wouldn’t recommend this resort if you have kids. They have a great pool, but the minute the sun starts to dim a little, the pool gets shut down. In fact on spring break at 7:40 pm at night Wendy (rude front desk lady) kicked my kids out of the pool, who literally had just arrived to the pool to swim at 7.35 pm. She began to argue with me that it was “dusk,” yet the sun hadn’t even gone down yet. And the area was packed with people. To me that is the worst customer service I have ever seen. Clearly the guests were wanting it to stay open later. I understand closing at 10 or even 9:30, but my lord 7:40?????? And on Spring Break! I’m paying over 300 a night and it’s 90 degrees all day, the minute that it was enjoyable to swim they shut down the pool. The rooms were outdated and in need of work. Otherwise the place had friendly staff, and a decent location.
Its okay. The grounds are spectacular. I didnt use the pool and outdoors things...others might rate it higher for that. I understood our room was to have a view of a lake...uh, no.
I went to the restaurant there and was pleasantly surprised of this hidden gem.Ill be back
Absolutely loved it!! Can’t wait to go back next year!!
Stayed here numerous times as it suits our needs perfectly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Location is excellent for the beach and for shopping. The apartments are spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony. Some of the furniture is starting to look dated but that doesn’t matter to us as it is clean and serviceable. Will definitely stay here again.
This place is awesome! The perfect place to relax and kick back.
Excellent resort and room, love the ground of the resort, very comfy apartments facing the little lagoon with great location, you can find everything close and reachable, downtown Naples about 5 min by car.
Good anenities. fully furnished . nice pool and hottub
Great place to stay. Good service. Great landscape.Would stay again. Great restaurant. Hope to see you soon!
Great place to rentLocated in the middle of Naples. Beautiful resort. We have rented #103 and 148 with I-Trip. Both Apartments are in a good shape and well designed. We will definitely come back.
I got a great rate at $119 for one night.I wish I had booked for more time to enjoy the property. There are great views from the suites w balconies. There is a beautifully crafted structure that houses an island for the pool and dining area.It has a great gym. There is a lot of parking.Check in is easy.It is near a Publix and shopping. It is easy to find. The rooms are clean. It is not chic but it is stylish.I would book again. They had cable. It is 1 mile from the beach.
Great place to go ! First class all the way !
Nice size rooms, we had 2 bedroom suite. Kitchen was well equipped, excellent for families. The rooms need to have an update, rugs were dirty, screens on patio were torn. Restaurant is closed in the summer opens in October. With a n update it would be very nice place especially for families. A two bedroom can sleep 6.
Gorgeous place, warm and efficient welcome at the reception.
My Happy Place
This place is not at all what it appears! It is Not I repeat Not a resort in any way. This is nothing more than Air BnB. First took over 1:40 minutes to get checked in. Nobody other than Me at first but they were able to check in 2 other parties who came after me??? The condo is nice enough but guess what you will be carrying your bags at least 1/2 way. They forgot bath towels not a big deal, I had also said a hair dryer was needed. Well the maintenance guy shows up me in a small hand towel insisted on coming in to check the plug for Hair Dryer. The cover was off the other the plug was not in question . I am soaking wet in a hand towel. I had to raise my voice to him to stay the hell out. After this I left the place . Went to check in at a real resort.. the employee at the desk was horrible she saw nothing wrong with sending the maintenance guy to my room, when I had just told her I had no towels and out of the shower. I have no clue what goes on there but he was very aggressive to get inside. Take this as a heads up.....️️️️️
Very 70s quaint stepping back in time....
Very clean and spacious. Located near great restaurants and shopping.
The people are so nice here especially the regulars and people who travel in from other countries. The pool is beautiful and the rooms are great we stayed in a king Deluxe with two bedrooms opposite side of each other with a beautiful garden view. From your large balcony you look out to a tropical Zoo like area. You can easily get to the Village in Park Shore area by the marina in just a few minutes and public beach areas that are gorgeous to watch the sunsets. Old Naples is about five miles down the road. We recommend The boathouse for happy hour! Our only complaint of Park Shore resort was that the pool closes at dusk.
Its a good place to stay
Stayed overnight on a work trip, loved this place! Will definitely recommend this place to my friends!
The exterior of the building is in need of repair. People at the front desk had very little information to share about the surrounding area. A shuttle bus to the beach which is advertised on the website doesnt exist. The pool is great - the restaurant fun = the location of the resort is convenient.
The Island Gypsy 2 is fantastic! We were greeted by the owner. The atmosphere was tropical and had a very Key West 1980s feel to it. I had the Mahi Mahi blackened on top of a wonderful Ceaser salad. Perfect! Good times, good people, and great food! Local hint, save room for dessert! The Carrot cake could feed the entire table. This is one of my new favorite places in Naples!
Great place to stay. Pool is huge, hot tub hot and the condo rooms clean and quiet. I would def stay here again. Staff is awesome.
Nice place to visit
Our stay was great. When we checked in, we were greeted by Marjorie, who was extremely pleasant, introduced us to the area by making recommendations, and tried to accommodate our room request. The room itself was cleaned and well kept. We had an issue with the master bedroom shower not working but a call to the front desk had the maintenance person in our room within minutes and the problem resolved right away. Our room had a huge balcony and it looks like its a common train for all the rooms based on what we saw. Also, all rooms have a balcony facing the lake, which is a great plus. We didnt check out the pool, but we walked the grounds on the evening and they are beautiful. Definitely worth checking out if youre with family. The gas grills are first come first serve and have tables surrounding them so you can make yourself comfortable. Overall our experience was a very positive one. Since our stay was brief, we didnt utilize all the amenities the resort had to offer, but based on what we saw, its all top notch.
The location is easy to reach. It is rather Central to places to go in Naples. The hotel has a pool! Which is large and well! kept. Towels provided. The room had two bedrooms and a kitchen. We had a balcony to the lake. There are turtles in the water. Breakfast was close we went to Blueberrys.
A very comfortable and affordable Resort
Is a place for people who wants peace . Dont expect nothing fun.
Stayed here for a tennis tournament and I loved the room we had. It was furnished with a full complete kitchen so we could cook and prepare our own meals before matches. We also had a great view of the pond and the water spout which made the experience more relaxing. In the middle of the pond was an island which had a pool, hot tub, bbq deck and restaurant if we wanted to relax and enjoy the sun. could have used more options for pots and pans, but adequate enough to cook what we needed. Daily maid service was available if we needed new towels or rubbish to be emptied or just to do a daily clean up. The best part was that there is a grocery store, (Publix) walking distance from the resort to get all the little things you need. I would definitely come back again.
A reasonable priced apartment complex where the facilities are reasonable. The apartments are comfy and reasonably spacious and have decent decor and fittings. The area around has several decent restaurants within 10min walk and the beach is 10min drive away. Parking at the complex is free and there is a pool, hot tub and restaurant
Amazing tropical landscapes.
Its a nice place, just needs a little updating. Staff are friendly and helpful.
This is an amazing place. You never know what to expect when you read other peoples reviews. We had the best vacation ever and this resort made it possible. We got the double bedroom suite and it didnt disappoint. Its so peaceful and just beautiful inside and the outside. Pool is awesome, jacuzzi was awesome and being able to cook out was the best part. We will be staying here again. We want to make it an annual trip. Thanks to all the staff for being so friendly. I will highly recommend this resort to anyone.
Great apartment to rent
If you are looking for a beautiful, clean resort in Naples, look no further! What an amazing spot! Felt so safe and didnt meet one unfriendly person! Staff were super! Walking distance to some restaurants and Walgreens and Publix. Restaurant on site was SO delicious! Definitely coming back to Park Shore Resort!
The restaurant there has great food there
Loved it! Felt like a home not a hotel! Had an amazing view and great pools, even a waterfall!
Lakeview and landscape. Waterfall and pool. Restaurant. All great.
Many of the condos are privately owned, but rented through the main office to guests. Therefore each condo is a different experience, with different furnishings. The pool and grill areas are of high quality. About a half mile from the beach (probably too far to walk) but very close to two grocery stores and several good restaurants.
Good food, good prices, great happy hour prices!
It was amazing
Great place where vacationers stay for winter
The management has not been responsive to the issues involved in trying to find their location. Google maps does not direct you to the correct location and Park Shore Resorts signage is also misleading. Upon reporting our difficulties, they have done nothing to remedy the matter for other people new to the location.
This place is old. Though the grounds are beautiful, our 1 bedroom unit was very dated. The tile in the kitchen was stained and had multiple cracks. The water supply was reversed with cold and warm water on the wrong side of the mixer. The metal ceiling on the balcony was loose and my husband pushed the panels back in place so they were not hanging down. This is something that housekeeping should have had repaired. It held for our stay, but will soon fall down again. Definitely a minus 3 Star property with need for expensive renovations. Good location. Comfortable bed. Lousy pillows.
This place the best great restaurant by the way.
Island Gypsy Poolside Cafe!
