We dealt with Gregg when we first got a quote and booked. We adore him and he was just such a character and made us feel so welcomed. Due to covid we went through a change of dates and DJs. We ended up with Tony Ho who is just amazing. I am NOT a dancer and he had me on the dance floor all night. He made sure all our details were correct and names were pronounced correctly. He even texted me afterwards to thank me and he is just the sweetest guy. I could not say better things!

Finding a DJ was the most important and most daunting task for me when it came to planning my wedding. Not only am I obsessed with music, but the energy of the DJ sets the entire tone for the wedding and whether or not your guests enjoy themselves, which was my top priority! Sounds Abound had the right package for the right price, and my husband and I were so happy with what was included (uplighting, full dj services from 4-11pm, plus two hours of setup time, picking your own DJ, etc.) But then the hard part came: picking which DJ was right for us. I am an Egyptian-American and my guest list was very eclectic, as was my music taste. Tony Ho instantly impressed us with his charisma, his energy, and his infectious smile. His experience with multicultural weddings sealed the deal for me. I started planning 18 months in advance, and Tony was incredibly patient and responsive through the entire process. He worked flawlessly with our other vendors and had even worked with my photographer and venue several times before. He coordinated perfectly with our belly dancers, and gave them a great introduction! My husband and I liked Tony more and more with each meeting, text message, and email. He was so friendly and accommodating and he made me feel like he genuinely cared about making our wedding special and exactly the way we envisioned it. I literally gave Tony a color-coded spreadsheet with music for every second of the day, complete with plenty of notes and special requests. Never once did Tony express annoyance or frustration with my frequent changes and concerns, and he made me feel so comfortable reaching out to him with anything I needed. Tony even made some fun suggestions for our quirky ceremony that truly made it unforgettable, and our guests are still talking about it. Working with Tony was like working with a long time friend, and I will forever be grateful for how much he invested in making our wedding perfect for us. The dance floor was never empty, and a smile never left my face! He even snapped some great photos that he sent us right away! Do yourself a favor and get Tony for your wedding, youll thank me later!

First let me say, my mother used this company for her wedding and it was a fantastic celebration! The DJ was perfectly timed with everything and did not make himself ‘too’ much of a presence. (I know we all hate it when a DJ makes it about himself). The DJ was able to keep the party going consistently all night!Now, my personal experience with Sounds Abound… I scheduled them for my wedding, but that is now canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I emailed my DJ asking about their policy changes in response to the global situation. Later that SAME day I received a call from the company OWNER personally offering his condolences and empathy. The owner has handled this situation with the most CLASS and KINDNESS of any vendor yet! I will absolutely be booking them in the future for any other family party. I cannot speak enough about how impressed I am by their customer service and ethics.

We used Keith for our Feb. 15 2020 wedding and he was AMAZING! Everyone was complimenting him all night, we are still hearing about it! He made our wedding the party we always dreamed of. The dance floor was full all night!We met with Keith a couple weeks prior to the wedding and he had the best ideas and really took the time to learn about us, our family, and the music we enjoy. Tony Ho was the DJ at my wedding this weekend and let me just tell you, all the other reviews I read are completely correct. A couple weeks out from the wedding he gave my husband and I his cell number and told us that if we needed anything, contact him. I texted him at 10pm 2 days before the wedding because I forgot one of the most important songs I wanted to play and he got it in with no hesitation. He was totally flexible with what we did and didn’t want, EVERYONE was dancing almost the whole night, and I have gotten dozens of comments saying how amazing he was. The day after my wedding he sent me a snap of my wedding cake and a picture of me and my mom that I didn’t know he took, and thanked ME for letting him be our DJ. If I could get married 10 more times just to have Tony as our DJ I would without hesitation. The photo booth was incredible as well and had some of the best quality pictures I’ve ever seen from a wedding photo booth! The attendant was super kind and kept the line moving smoothly when there was one. All in all I had an AMAZING experience with Sounds Abound and I will definitely be recommending them to all of my friends as they get married!!!

HOLY COW! It’s a couple of weeks after our wedding and we are still hearing from our guests how much fun our reception was! There are a lot of vendors out there, but I can 100% say hiring Craig and Sounds Abound was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They are attentive, caring, charismatic, professional and more! Music is one of the things I was most worried about because we love to two step, line dance, and are more of a country family than what’s modern on the radio. From my first phone conversation I had with Craig my mind was completely at ease. He just got it. Craig could have picked every single song and I know he would have knocked it our of the park! Outside of my husband he was one of the best decision I made that day! Their online planner is also fantastic! I love how you can customize what you like and don’t like! And the best part is they’re respectful of it! I can’t say enough good things about them! Craig - thank you! I wish we could go back and do it every weekend!

Do to Covid19 my Fiancé and I had to postpone our wedding, Sounds Abound were amazing and very understanding. If there was an option to give them Six stars I would.

We couldnt be happier with the service that was provided by Vince and Sounds Abound. As soon as the music started Vince had everyone on the dance floor. We received multiple compliments that Weve never seen such a crowded dance floor, and that was in large part to the great playlist that Vince put together. Vince helped make our Wedding Day even more special, and we cant think him enough!

KYLE you were one of the BEST decisions we made at our wedding. I’ve never seen that many people on a dance floor at one time (including 7 guys ripping their pants during cotton eye joe/every time we touch) and have been getting endless texts about how iconic the dance floor was at our wedding!! You knew how to take our requests and easily fit in similar songs to get the party going. You also knew the perfect sit and eat your dinner tunes. Thanks for making our wedding one I’ll never forget.

Tony Ho from Sounds Abound elevated our wedding from awesome to amazing with his DJ and MC skills and his dedication to his job. We are so glad that we used Sounds Abound for our wedding, Tony was so great and responsive throughout the entire planning process and really outdid himself the day of our wedding. He was charismatic and all of our guests loved him, and he was great at following our schedule for the night. He also excelled at keeping the dance floor busy all evening with a good mix of music from different genres and time periods. We had a couple guests ask what company we used because they wanted to hire him for their own events.

DJ Tony Ho was extremely personable and adaptable to the diverse crowd at a wedding I attended this past weekend. The dance floor was packed from the first song until time to leave. He worked well moving from song to song and the choices he made show his expertise in knowing how to read the crowd and keep the reception full of energy! Just incredible. My sister, several of my cousins and I all used Sounds Abound as our DJ for our weddings. They made the party INCREDIBLE! The dance floor was always packed with people of ALL ages. My sister and I used Gregg as our DJ and he was AWESOME. So willing to bend over backwards and go the extra mile to help us and make our wedding day so special!

Im late getting around to this review, but Sounds Abound was extremely accommodating, professional, and most of all FUN. Rufus was our assigned DJ and he was just the right blend of take charge host and background entertainment that you could hope for. Trust that they have done this before and know how to stay true to your wishes while making sure our guests have a great time. Worth every penny. Highly recommended!

The DJ Brian played music for both our wedding ceremony and reception in October 2017. He was kind and courteous to my wife and I both during the planning process as well as the big day itself. He made sure to stick to the playlist during the reception, as well as adhered to every special request we put in for music during both ceremony and reception. My wife and I were very happy working with both Brian and Sounds Abound, and would definitely recommend anyone else to do so.

Tadd at Sounds Abound blew away any expectations we had for a DJ at our wedding on September 6th. We had many people tell us since the wedding how great the DJ was and how the dance floor was never empty. It started with him contacting us prior to our big day and letting us know he was available at any point if we had any questions. Tadd was professional, kept the wedding party on schedule (no easy task given that there was 18 of us), and played a great mix of music that kept the older generation up and dancing along with all the young people the entire night! Cant say thank you enough to Tadd for making our wedding a huge success!

I (wedding planner) hired Craig with Sounds Abound for a backyard wedding that took place last Saturday. He was responsible for playing the music for both the ceremony and the reception. Craig did a fantastic job, alongside his assistant. He was very sensitive to my instructions and careful to pay attention to the little things that mattered to the bride (style of announcing, timing, etc). The music was perfectly cued during the ceremony and once the dance floor was opened up, it was clear that Craig was very experienced in gauging his audience; he knew what people wanted to hear and acted accordingly. He was also very good at timing; he stuck to my schedule perfectly. Thanks to him, we had a wonderful evening. Another note worth mentioning was the pre-event contact I had with Craig. He was diligent in being fully prepared for the event. He responded quickly to my emails and ensured that he was not a factor for me to worry about close to the event date. He also followed up with me post-event to ensure my satisfaction. I highly recommend this DJ.

We picked Sounds Abound for our wedding entertainment after attending a wedding where Tony Ho was the DJ. When we went to book, he was unavailable the date of our wedding, so we watched their DJ videos and selected Matt Ammons. He did an awesome job and complied with all our requests. Several guests asked for his information days after the wedding. We liked how Sounds Abound gives you a login to an online portal to completely customize your playlist. Plus, theyll let you meet with your DJ prior to the wedding, so Matt could even play along with our surprise choreographed dance. Sounds Abound is the best choice if you want a great DJ at a reasonable price.

This company Sound Abound was not prepared for a Filipino wedding. They struggled to play music on request. My advice is to get DJ that can play music for all audience.

Sounds Abound and specifically Tony Ho were out of this world for our wedding. Starting from the beginning, they were incredibly friendly and nice to deal with. If we waited more than a few hours for a call back or email response I would be shocked. The team over there prioritizes you and your event (in our case a wedding) even though I am sure they are booked through the roof for their services.Before the wedding: The online tool was very user-friendly. We were able to have endless back-and-forths with Tony about what we wanted and did not want. We had phone chats, Skype, and email exchanges to seal the deal. More importantly, Tony was relaxed even when we weren’t!The wedding itself: Tony arrived a few hours before the reception even began. It was our first face-to-face meeting, but it seemed as though we had been friends for quite some time. It’s hard to really describe his personality, but he is so likeable. He was wooing over the grandmothers, the bridesmaids, and heck even me (the groom). He knew when to light up the party with some dance music, and when to take it back for some slower dances. Tony was incredibly receptive to our requests – and we had lots of them. My family is Greek, so we had cultural dances he wove into the night, too. Overall, I cannot recommend Tony enough. We had plenty of people asking for his contact information as the night was winding down. Thanks again, Tony!Quick note: We also had a photobooth through Sounds Abound. We had a few guys working the booth and the guest book they created for us (an expense worth taking!). They were party promoters, too! They helped to create a fun atmosphere for everyone – even the stoic great uncles who didn’t speak English cracked a smile with their funny hats.
