This is a beautiful, shady, well-maintained park. Im only knocking off a star because there are only three trash bins, and they are all at the front third of the park, closer to the entrance. There are also no bathrooms, so be sure to go beforehand. There is a creek bed running the length of the park and it was almost entirely dry (at least when I went, in late May). Shurtleff park is long, with a few branching paths, and completely gated - a great stop for an off-leash adventure.

I definitely recommend this place to anyone trails are easy enough for a beginner to take and theres a small parking lot but plenty of street walking as well. It brings me delight to share this small paradise in the middle of the city with you all enjoy.

This is a Cool place to take your Dog for a Walk(of course on a Leash). My son grew up down the street from it and it was always fun taking him on his Bike when he first learned to Ride. Back in the Days(Mid 90s) older kids had turned it into a BMX trail with jumps and what have yous. Through the years the jumps werent jumps anymore they wur Bumps. But all in all its a Quite park to go to.

Very fun park to bring your dog to, can be very muddy after it rains obviously, but if you dont mind the mud you can watch your dogs play in the small stream. Theres also a big grassy area to throw the ball for your dogs, overall a great place to bring your dogs.

Nice place to walk your dog off leash. Level ground, shade and lots of grass. Water for dogs. Could use more trash cans and places to sit. A fence and gate have added along the street entrance making it a much safer park for dogs.

Love taking my dog to this park. You can have your dog off the leash here and let him/her go run around the giant grass areas. UPDATE: They installed a fence at the front entrance of the park making it a much better off-leash dog park. THANK YOU CITY OF NAPA!!

This park is not fenced! The far end opens into a ravine that goes on and on... The West side fence is open onto the school activity field. I do not recommend this park for anyone that cannot get a solid recall with their dog.
