Quiet peaceful and nature! Very nice walking paths.
Definitely dont wear sandals...its pretty gross Definitely needs cleaned up and some tlc
Love going here there is an issue with ticks so check your dogs when you get back
Well stocked with trout! Catch your 2 trout limit daily with nothing but corn on a hook. Clean park, well maintained, nice people willing to talk about what the fish are biting on. Beautiful area.
Honestly beautiful and kept up ponds and path you can take through greenbelt...but there is a furious infestation of ticks! Tons of ticks. I kept my dog on her leash and only on the pavement and she still managed to get 1 ugly red one on her. Seriously take cautions with your pets and little ones. We camp in heavy forests and she hardly ever gets them but a few minutes at this pond and she could be infested.
Relaxing day...not great for fishing though. Will try again later in the season when the algea and moss decrease.
It was actually pretty impossible to fish due to all the snag in the water....all you could seen were weeds. We were told by someone that it has not been cleaned up in quite some time, but that the fish would bite through it if we were patient. Not sure if we will go back and try again. Very disapointing
Great place to go and relax. Just remember its called fishing not catching. Lol but I have seen many kids with big fish from there
Fishing ...Very happy with the size and variety of trout. We each caught our 2 fish limit. Lots of pond grass. People need clean up after their dogs. New trash cans welcomed. Ponds get heavy use lots people & dogs.Grateful we have such a great place!
Shhhhhsh. This place is a secret! Two thumbs up!
July 2020 - The waters are overgrown with what appears to be algae and moss making fishing difficult for kids and novice fisherfolk such as myself.
I like fishing here only 7 blocks from homeAnd I can literally fish here anytime
I go here quite often 2 unwind and catch some fish!! And I always catch fish!! Close 2 home u cant beat that!
Nice place to walk and take in a little nature in the city, but it would be really nice if the dog on leash rule would be enforced. Not really fond of all the people not leashng their dog, and being approached by unleashed dogs.
It is pretty but my girlfriend I went there to fish and judging by the weeds, clarity of the water and lack of other fisherman, we came to the conclusion that there arent many, if any, fish. But if you want a good scenic hike/walk/run and live close, then its pretty good.
Great place to go all year round for walking path or fishing. Spring and fall are better for fishing and a great place to take the next generation of sportsman!
Its a very nice spot, in town. Theres fishing and wildlife.
The area has been improved and beautified, with nice paths (both improved and not). Fishing is good with regular stocking, but moss and grass are abundant in the summer and fall.
Beautiful place. It was a nice place to spend time with my faily.
Filthy. And very un-kept. Garbage and everywhere. Beer cans everywhere and there is so much moss you cant cast without realing in a mess.
Miss those ducks .very nice foot trail .
The water is very clear. You can see the fish about six feet deep
Quiet, Peaceful, even took a nap
Great place to take your kids fishing - just watch the Idaho Fish & Game stocking report for the best time. Nice walking path around the ponds to get some exercise and walk your dog...please remember to clean up after your pet - with all the use, keeping it clean will make it more enjoyable for everyone!
Nice walkable area with paths. Havent seen any ticks yet. 2 trout limit easy to get to right after the pond it stocked.
Great place as usual. But with more people comes more....trash. Please take a small grocery bag with you and take your garbage with you. And if you are feeling really frisky, maybe even pick up a few things someone else left behind.
I always have a good time fishing. Beautiful place to walk through!
Great place to fish, walk, feed the ducks. Lots of spots to fish, paved trail to walk on. Kid friendly.
Lots of birds fish turtles and pleasant views, cool place to visit
Peaceful and tranquil, plus good fishing close to town!
The path around this pond goes in a loop and has a few docks great for fishing or feeding the ducks. Lots of trees and nature close to home. :)
Beautiful scenery with a nice paved walking path I enjoy walking along.
Great place but horrible for my dogs.... the ticks were the nastiest thing ever... between my two dogs it took days to make sure they had no more on them.. I swear over 30!!
Peaceful walks. Nice scenery.
Its a nice place to take my dog on her walk every day. When Im not walking her, I take some spinners and catch a couple trout and some bass through out the ponds. Over all, its a good place waste a couple minutes of your day.
The pond is always clean and tidy. My Family and I love going fishing there.
Be cautious bring bug spray. There are ticks in the long grass. Nice walking trails and fishing ponds
Very beautiful place to either walk the paths or go fishing. Very relaxing. Very well taken care of. Everything is marked that is suppose to be so everyone knows the rules. My favorite place to go to pass time and relax.
This is a great place for families and kids in particular...teaching casting and retrieving of all kinds is very easy at the ponds. The parking lot is right there. The Mens/Womens restroom is right there as well.
We always have fun at Wilson Pond. always check your children for Tics!! We found a few on Miles this last time
Not a bad walk for kids. Okay fishing. There are a ton of ducks and geese which makes it hard sometimes.
Nice for the family lots of fish but couldnt catch anything not biting
Nice walking trail with lots of wildlife.
Didnt catch fish. And the bugs were terrible. Cool if you like ducks though.
Very beautiful well put together virtue of nature this place gives the locals and children a great place to hike and fish well not having to drive very far very well put together easy to access by foot or wheelchair looks like the tax paying dollars were spent well on this area
Nice small fishing ponds and nice walking paths!
Winding paths, wildlife, fishing, great time every time.
Great. Lots of poopoo
Nice place to walk your dog.
Nice area to walk through and go fishing.
Great place to go on a walk or walk your dog great to fish if you get there early you can take your kids to feed the ducks its a beautiful place to go
I never caught any fish here, but still fun to take family on free fishing days and to enjoy nature.
Always a fun fishing spot with a variety of species and ponds
Didnt like all the tics. Cotton wood blowing everywhere. And fishing what fish. Saw 1 fish no bits
Was told the fishing was good here. Only if you want to catch gigantic globs of moss in every cast. Dont waste your time.
Great place to take the kids and not far away.
Fun trails to walk around or to fish in the ponds
Great place to chill and catch some trout.
Needs some moss clean up.
So nice and peaceful. Caught one fish my very first one.
So pretty and great place to go for a walk
Fun fishing spot but also good for a nature walk. The ponds are beautiful and it helps you forget you are 5 minutes away from downtown Nampa. There is bird watching but ultimately the fishing is the best part. Be sure to read the regulations though.
A romantic place to walk, a mostly flat place to run and a hot spot for trout fishing
Fun and convenient for a family with kids
Beautiful Clear Water But No Luck Fishing
Beautiful walk, but dogs were infested with ticks!
Way too much overgrowth inside and out of the pond. Makes it a challenge to catch fish, and if you do you bring up a pound of algae with it.
Great place to feed the ducks, go for a nice walk or fishing.
Its a great place to explore and enjoy the outdoors
Peaceful, beautiful, and so much fun to visit
Pretty cool place to bring kids family to fish and such
Very pretty and well maintained.
Just a great place to hang out fish or walk
Lots of ducks and other types of water fowl. great place to take a walk and enjoy nature
Great place to feed the ducks.
Great place to take your kids if you dont want to drive out of town
Caught a beauty today. 21 inches, 5 pounds!
I love all the trails and trees. Its my favorite fishing hole. I love watching the family of ducks swimming by.
Awesome..si many beautiful trails
Very beautiful walk love the nature love the ducks I have lived in Nampa for 20 years and never realized Wilson Ponds were there so very romantic evening walk but I do suggest take a rolls of toilet paper with you there are three bathrooms and none of them have toilet paper and the main bathroom was beyond disgusting but other than that very enjoyable and very relaxing a great place to get in touch with nature
Nice place pleasant to fish
Speaking for all of my fellow veterans and fellow fishermen thank you for allowing us the privilege of fishing at your incredible facilities, we hope you know how important it is to myself and my fishing buddies and again thank you from all of us.!!
I love wilsons pond but right now they are clearing out large amounts of sediment build up and are not stocking fish. Might be hard to catch your 2 trout limit. My suggestion...wait till they are done with the sediment, then go fishing.
Needs more fishing spots and more fish.
Hidden secret family photo spot...
Great fishing its stocked regularly with rainbow trout. Youll see many different types of waterfowl year round. Has a fantastic walking path around the ponds. Its a great place in Nampa.
Great place to walk!
Maybe it was the time of year, but fished for several hours with little kids and didnt even see a fish or have a nibble. Tried every trick I knew- worms, power bait, eggs, spinners, dry flies, all nothing. Looks like a nice place, and had fun watching ducks.
I love Wilson ponds! Watch for ticks! I pulled two ticks off my dog after our walk!
Nice for a walk no luck fishing
