Each and every employee we engaged with during our 2 escape rooms were So nice, and wonderful at explaining the games, and even helping us figure out the room we couldn’t solve. My party and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and plan to return on our next beach trip! Thank you folks for a fun time!!!

We had a blast! Our game master Zach helped us first timers get through the basic information and they kept us laughing through our experience! We failed, but with them, we had so much fun! (We did also pick the hardest one for our first time!) We will be back, it was a blast!

Wonderful experience with a great staff!! We did two different rooms and they were definitely challenging but so well put together. The story line and decor was so cool! We will be back to try out the other rooms next time!

I will say visiting this establishment 2x in a week we played and escaped the 7 deadly sins and Scooby-Doo room.Both the rooms were of higher difficulty, but very easy to play through and figure out with little to no hints from each room.The Game Master over each room we played through was super nice and respectful to no matter the size or skill level of the group.I highly recommend anyone to Escapology!

We played 2 games here while on vacation and had a fun time. The rooms are well themed and have plenty of interesting puzzles to solve. The only reason I didn’t give a 5-star is because the game masters were too quick to give clues and hints that we didn’t ask for both times. We got out of both rooms with almost 15 min on the clock so we had plenty of time that we could have tried to brainstorm and work it out without being given the answer. I almost felt that we were just being rushed through the game. Nonetheless, we would probably return.

A great escape room venue. Came during out MB vacation for one room; it was so good, we came back for two more! Excellent puzzles and great production values in the rooms and props. Hosts help when needed, but not too much, keeping the room progressing when a clue wasnt quite clear (or a prop wasnt working.)Will definitely visit again next year (and will also visit the local Escapology where we live for their different rooms.)

I am disappointed because I was really excited to try this place, but the service affected our experience.When we got there we were provided with gloves which was nice, but when we got inside the game master was extremely unhelpful. She was supposed to be present to give us clues, but the sound system would cut out meaning we could barely understand what she would say.Not only that, but she would leave her post at times. We were left for 5 minutes singing the bell waiting for her so we could ask a hint.That game master lost ya valuable time, I understand if were not doing well at an escape room but if we have to wait on the staff why the clock is ticking thats a waste of our money.The clues were sometimes a little unrelated too each other and not very impressive, but rather time wasters. Once you knew what to do, the execution would have to take you a while.. I would rather have many little clues, then clues that take time to execute.I really wish we could do this again, but with the staff being present. The lack of the game masters attention and presence hurt us and overall made this experience very unprofessional.

Completed lost city. Was very impressed with the puzzles, the scenery, and the staff. The were there when we needed them and very nice. I completely enjoyed myself.

We did two rooms. Both were well themed and flowed nicely through the clues. Had a couple hiccups, but that is what the clues are for. The place is very clean and doing well with covid precautions.

Played all 5 of the rooms in the matter of two days.Favorite Room: Murder MansionLeast Favorite Room: Cuban Missile CrisisOverall really enjoyed rooms and staff, especially Kenny. In the rooms he watched he was attentive, exciting, and most importantly patient. Contrary to one of our game masters who would send hints when she felt like it, he waited for our word and elaborated if needed. The other game master who watched us had an annoying habit of trying to walk us though the room (one of our biggest pet peeves in playing rooms). When we asked to only have help when we requested her attitude quickly switched. We had struggled really badly in Cuban Missile Crisis and it was obvious she was very irritated with us, to the point I think she undid a magnet lock for the sole purpose to get us out sooner. If we had Kenny watch all 5 of our rooms this would definitely be a 5 star experience, however I don’t want to play you to walk me step by step through a room unless I ask.

We had a fantastic time. The staff was very helpful from beginning to end, doing everything they could to ensure we had a great experience. It definitely did not disappoint.

7 Deadly Sins is amazing. The workers Zoe & John made our experience so much fun!!! 7 Deadly Sins is not exactly for beginners like us but we had so much fun.

I love this place would 100% recommend. Me and my family went and we did the 7 deadly sins it was challenging but we had a blast. The staff were amazing and they made us feel very welcomed. If your looking for something to do with your family this would be it!!! Can’t wait to try this again

My family had a really great time. We did the Scooby Doo adventure. It was so much fun.

Took a group of 5 and had a wonderful time in the 7 Deadly Sins escape room. Definitely a difficult room, but still had a blast. First time doing an escape room since the start of the Covid-19 epidemic. Masks and gloves were required (option to bring your own or they can supply them) but it did not take away from the experience at all.Would highly recommend. Had a blast and also felt safe.

Let down by the experience!Our game master wasn’t watching us during our scheduled time, so when we called for a hint we had to fill her in on what we had already found each time. Unfortunately, that took away precious time from us.I sat by the call box ringing and ringing, but no answer. Once she called back, minutes were lost. we were so frustrated, we almost left the room to get help from a worker in the lobby. Very frustrating and took away from our experience.Once we ran out of time, a worker escorted us out of the room and to the back drop for a picture. It was quickly taken and we were rushed out of the building with a quick “have a great day.”Stunned by the sense we were being pushed out, I said “so are you going to tell us how to finish the room?” The worker quickly explained and we were sent in our way. Ideally, they would have taken us back in the room and gone through the remaining hints with us to “get out.”So three major complaints:1. Game master was absent and wasted our time2. Employees were rude in the lobby3. Audio from the call box was awful, so we had to ask for hints to be repeated a lot (wasting more time)Positives:- COVID safety was great (gloves and masks required)

The room was awesome. Had a great time finding the lost treasure. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Puzzles are clever and very interesting.

Very fun experience! We chose the seven deadly sins. If you are in the mood to be frantically having a great time with friends that is a good one!

We definitely had an amazing experience this time. EXACTLY what I expected the first time, I totally received. The game master,Kenny, was on it with clues. He knew exactly where we were and how to help us. It was SO EXCITING this time around and the employees were super friendly like the first time around. I had such a fun Birthday experience. Thank you and we will definitely be back. 100% would recommend coming here. So thrilling.Old review:They were really nice, place was clean but my one thing is that the game master was not knowledgable. We had Zoe and she was really nice but we were getting the same clues that we were already doing at some points and none of it was really leading us to know what to do. If anything we were more confused by some clues. We have done Escapology in Fayetteville, NC and the game masters were more involved with our every move so they knew exactly what clue to give to help us. We lost the game, but that was on us too obviously lol not blaming them at all. Just making sure for the next groups that the game masters are more focused in on the room so they know what to help with.

Staff was wonderful. I cant say enough about the ladies who helped us. I did The Code room. I didnt love it per-say. After speaking with a family member, they had done the same room in Ohio, so I didnt realize it was a corporate puzzle. Decor in the room is pretty good. I wish the hours werent quite as restrictive. One thing I did love is that once you book, they block the whole room off for you. That was great to be able to have just my family in the room with me!

Must wear mask, gloves and sit in car until contacted! Also must sign waiver form that is undesirable. Friendly staff, but controller of the game didn’t pay attention to our game. This made the game more difficult and frustrating. Overall it wasn’t that fun, probably because the game design was too challenging or lack of controller observation-assistances.

Pretty lobby but the games are small and the puzzles are just ok compared to some other venues.

Ive played 10 or more escape rooms and this place was my least favorite. The puzzles are unoriginal in comparison to the local places Ive visited here and in other cities. Also, the people running the games are horrible at giving clues and it seems like they either dont know the puzzles or arent paying attention.

One of the best escape rooms Ive been too! The staff was extremely helpful and the game was set up nicely. We had a lot of fun solving the clues and escaping the room. Great for small groups!

Definitely a great experience

My family was traveling from the Raleigh area during the off season and we were looking for something fun to do with our two teenage children. Found a Groupon and did the Antidote room which was really fun. The room was challenging yet we were able to escape with a few minutes to spare. I would definitely recommend to families and groups.

Had a blast! The rooms are fun and it’s great for team building. Clean facility and friendly atmosphere. Our group had a lot of fun. We were happy to make it out just in the nick of time. You have to try it out!

Very fun escape room. The cod3 was fun and we managed to escape from it in 35 minutes. Was challenging so be prepared!

All of the games are well put together and challenging. The place is very clean and the staff is awesome, made us all feel very comfortable. Special shout out to the employee named Matt. He was excellent from his knowledge of everything to his outgoing charm that had all of us laughing so hard when we first arrived. Definitely go check them out if youre in the area. You will not regret it.

Great experience! The room was challenging but so much fun. The staff were so nice. This place is clean and inviting. Will be back to play other games. Would highly recommend for beginners and seasoned players.

This place was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Answered all questions and got us going fast. We booked for a 915 of antidote. They had us in at 915 and playing. The game was a challenge and fun for 4 of us to work together to get out. I plan on going back and doing the other 2 games we didnt do.

We had plenty of fun here! It wasnt too hard but definitely made you think outside of the box. Ours went down to the last minute and it felt super intense. Im happy we chose here over the other places in this area. You wont be disappointed.

What great fun! This is a team activity that keeps you thinking on your feet. Tory and Brooke were welcoming, encouraging, and supportive. This will be our new “go-to” place whenever we visit Myrtle Beach. In fact, we will try to get back there again before we leave this week. I strongly recommend this experience.

Our guide Jonny was Awesome!!! Very Organized and Clean facility. We had a Blast! The 3 of us completed Antidote with 6 minutes to spare. (Hint: Keep an eye on the monitor for reminders.)

The staff was extremely wonderful and the escape room was challenginge and entertaining. We brought our two boys 9 and 12. We all had fun and definitely will come back!!

Myself and 3 of my friends attended the Antidote room escape. We all had a blast and all agreed, we want to return to attempt the other rooms available! The puzzles where challenging but doable, and the staff are friendly and attentive! The facility was very clean and had a comfortable feeling. Definately a must for any tourist or resident!

Updated review 7/2020:We returned to Escapology as it was under new management. We were scheduled for a later game, but John so kindly got us in earlier and out of the scorching heat.Zoey was our game host. We were in the 7 Deadly Sins room, and let me tell you, it was tough! My brain hurt at the end, and we only got 6 of the sins checked off :( But the room was top-notch, with really cool clues and puzzles. Zoey so kindly showed us how the puzzle would have ended, if we had completed it. This is our 6th escape room, and the only one we did not finish in time.----4/2019 review----I sent an email to the owner and havent heard from them in over a week, so Ill post my experience here.There are many escape rooms in Myrtle Beach. Id recommend choosing another over this one.The plus? Its a nice, clean building. Id like to say that the props were quality, but there were a few that were broken.The worst part of our escape room (the Wild West themed one) was that the final, grand finale puzzle -- the one you need to solve to escape the room -- WAS UNLOCKED. The host blamed it on the person who worked the night before not setting up the room before he left for the night, so the current host had to rush to get the room ready for us. Kind of a bummer, right?Unlike the other escape rooms Ive been in, the hosts didnt actually watch us. So when I called for a hint, the response was something like, Well, have you found the xxx yet? or Have you found all the xxx yet? The host could see us, but wasnt watching us.I could tell that the hosts simply didnt care and werent invested in our experience.At the end, we received via email a 970x720 pixel, unlit, upside down picture of our group with our hosts finger in the upper-right corner. It was the sad cherry on top of our sad escape room experience sundae.

1st visit yesterday had a really really good time in the Arizona escape experience. Plus the friendly and helpful staff keeps the place super clean. Highly recommend Escapology Myrtle Beach for out of the heat fun

This was an awesome experience! We got through the first room with only a couple of minutes left. Whew! We will definitely come back and try the rest of the rooms. Highly recommend experience, bring all your friends & family the more people the more fum you will have!

I was able to try 2 of the 3 rooms and they were amazing well worth your time. Very excited to try the 3rd. If you are looking for an Escape Room experience this is your place.

We loved it! Sunday night(during the slow season) after calling several escape rooms and being told they were not open or the rooms were booked up. We called escapology and were told all rooms are available.(despite their online booking site information). The owner explained to us that he only lives a few blocks away and he is flexible with schedules. Best way to book ( during off season) is to call. We did the anecdote room, the room was difficult but obtainable. A few difficult clues, but hints are available.
