Very limited street parking and a small play structure and swing area. Its a good park if you just want to try out a new one but nothing special.

Very nice park to bring young kids too. Has swings and slides and the surface, instead of being concrete, is a soft foam/plastic surface around the play areas, perfect for little kids who are just learning to walk.

Intimate locals only park with modern play structures, sand area, well kept fields, and unique educational exhibits about the neighborhood and its namesake butterflies. No restroom facilities though.

One of my favorite parks for the kids. Mariposa-themed, i.e. butterfly in Spanish, so look for all the butterfly motives. Two play structures, one for young toddlers. Sand-pit has built-in water saving faucet (spring-loaded) which is so fun for the kids. Many sitting areas for adults, and picnic tables too. Large lawn area for spreading out.Parking is tricky as Mariposa Ave is narrow and some residents also park on the street.
