Being and Android fan Ive wanted to go here for a while. Thought that it would be a good opportunity since I was celebrating my birthday and its a pandemic. The square is wrapped with caution tape. Strange since Im unsure if this is considered a public park (public parks are closed in certain counties during the pandemic). The big Android is missing his arms and I wish the statues, as a whole, were better maintained.

As of now Im giving only 3 stars. The reason why is due to the very bad shape the Android statues are in. I understand that wear and tear will happen with people being people but this damage seemed to be there for a while since I can see rust. Im looking forward to seeing the display renovated and updated.

I enjoyed visiting the Google Android Lawn Statue Park! The statues, although slightly weathered, were adorable and fun to snap pictures of! The park is pretty small, and can be viewed quickly if you only have a few minutes. Parking was free, and it easy to find a spot on a Saturday morning. I definitely recommend stopping by, especially if you have young kids.

Amongst my favourite sweets, a very good experience and stop to take photos of these huge Android foam statues in Googleplex Campus near Visitor Center in Silicon Valley- Mountain View, CA. It brings me to my favourite Android version of Candyland game! The sweet statues are named after desserts and sweet treats of different kinds, It’s a very unique attraction in the Silicon Valley, worthwhile a visit or stop. The statues are just simple standing on without lawn or something green nor ornaments, but very interesting though. The merchandise store where you can buy souvenir is just around the corner, stuffs are quite pricey, but you can get them here only! I would like coming back here and ride the google bikes for free!

Cool place where you can see all the statues from Android’s past versions. They’re all sweet themed so you can find lollipop, KitKat, honey, Oreo and so on.I recommend you to go visit during daytime to take awesome pictures. Try not to go at sunset or when it’s dark, the place has no lights so you might not be able to take great pics.

This place is small but quite cute and interesting especially if you are with kids. It made me hungry walking around so many yummy looking statues :) Its in the middle of the Google campus which is as big as a small city :) and cute to see all the colorful Google bikes there too. Not sure what the campers were around there - maybe the homeless crisis hit that area too or people just prefer to live by their office in a camper/RV :)

A very known place for who is visiting San Francisco/San Jose. Its like default when visiting the Google complex surrounding areas. All the Android statues are there for you to take some pictures. Its important to notice three things:1) The statues are already old and with some break/missing pieces, which could impact your photos;2) The statues stay in an external area without light, so visiting by the end of the afternoon could cause difficult to take good pictures;3) Google Android no longer has sweet mascots from version 10 onwards, so the statues are becoming more and more obsolete.Regardless the considerations, its very fun and colorful to have the memory of visiting it.Plus, there is a big Google Store close by where you can buy all merchandise you can get!

As a Google and Android fan, I was excited to check this out.The area was a bit surprising. Its on a part Googles campus that you definitely wouldnt expect a tech company to be. It seems like they converted old rundown apartments into office space. All of that aside, the Android dessert statues were fun. Its a small area. Its easy to get some pictures with your favorite Android desserts. The most disappointing part was that they werent maintained. Many of them had chunks taken out of them or paint peeling off.Its right next to the Google Merchandise store and a quick stop for both of them.

Badly maintained. You can see the paint peeling off of many statues. Reportedly, Google moved these statues from all over the campus to this single place for better tourist crowd control. Also there was no nougat ( 6.0 ) or the latest pie ( 9.0 ) as of May 2019. The latest one was Oreo (8.0), if you wanna take pic next to it. Honeycomb looked interesting. But definitely lower your expectations before visiting.Update: Separate Android pie and Oreo statues are present in other places.

When we visited there, it was at night. The place was empty and eerily silent. Some of the lawn statues were broken and looked like Google hadnt made the effort to keep them in great shape. Fun little garden showcasing our favorite Android mascot. With all the deserts from the Android OS, its a great photo spot for anyone (especially tech enthusiasts). The Google Merchandise nearby makes for a nice touch. The only downside is that the sculptures are in need of repair. The one holding the lollipop had a majorly chipped arm and it seemed it might affect structural integrity. Luckily it was closed off. Other problems included deserts having chunks missing or metal lining peeling off of the headphones. It looks better than it sounds, and I dont think it ruined photos in any major way.

However, the lawn is very cute and great to take some quick pictures. Also, there are a few bikes around the offices and you can borrow them to go and explore around Google. Right next to the lawn is the google store, which has some pretty cool things! There is a shop which is open to the public where youll find T shirts, accessories and a few Google or Google sister company products but thats it. If you know someone who works there you can arrange to visit the Google Visitor center but ONLY if youre accompanied by a Google employee (pre-arranged...).The buildings are old school and not cool like the Apple HQ which I do recommend visiting.

Looks like a rundown place down. Broken statue, rusted rods poking out. Was excited to visit this place after all the hype. Wish it was maintained better and placed at a better locale, back of a parking lot among service trucks. Being an Android fan felt like a big tourist trap to get people into the Google store to purchase original merchandise. And I guess this isnt getting better with Android Q being called Android 10 and they are dropping the unique dessert naming nomenclature. Sad, it was the fun thing about Android every August.

Like everyone else said, it is disappointing to see that the statues are so run down and lack of maintenance. Both hands of the iconic green Android Statue itself are gone!
