Although not officially a sports park, it is large enough, flat and with trees only along the perimeter, that it could be used as a soccer field. Often, informal small groups of family and friends kick a soccer ball or throw a frisbee. (Nearby Pioneer Park isnt like that, as it has more trees and is a bit smaller.) Some people just sit on the grass and enjoy the open space. The swimming pool is great.
Good large area dog park. Lots of happy dogs including ours!
Plenty of shade and plenty of sun depending on what you want. Not too crowded on a Saturday. Walking distance to Mountain View main street for a bite or coffee.
I remember the day this park opened. I was there. Very nice public swimming pool. Nice large grass area. Playground for little ones and a clean restroom. Library one block away.
Lots of green space and happy dogs! Bathrooms, playground and benches were closed due to COVID-19.
A great place to chill on a Friday afternoon.
Decent sized park with trees around the perimeter for good shade. Good locality.
Absolutely love this park. There are close to 4 benches / seating areas for larger groups along with a couple of swings for kids. Its super clean, well-maintained and dog-friendly. Theres enough parking space [~2 parking lots] right next to the park
The playground is great, usually a good amount of people. The grassy field is huge and great for picnics/gatherings. There are open leash times in the morning, which could be a plus or minus how you look at, but I think its a nice thing to have.
Good park.
Huge unshaded lawn area for playing sports and a nice playground for kids. Not much lot parking, although there is a fair amount of fairly full street parking nearby. The benches are mostly shaded and there are a few picnic tables around. Overall its decent, but not my favourite park in MV.
A delightful park due to its small but varied climbing play structure.
Great outdoor park to sit and picnic.
Good park. If you come early, before 9 am, its a lot people with dogs in park.
Great masters swim program! Great pre-work workout: plenty of practice options, great people, and great coaches.
Nice place to play and watch dogs.
Nice quiet place to relax
Great park for dog walking & off leash in mornings. Unfortunate they do not have bags for collecting dog poop similar to Pioneer Park.
This park has great Parking. You will find a dog area where you can play with your furry friend. There is also a great pool.
Nice outdoor swimming pool
Very nice - dont forget to check out the somber war memorial - well done!
Warm water when cold outside, love this pool.
Good play equipment for kids including swings. There is a large grass field and a path to stroll around the park. There is a paid swimming pool on the grounds.
You know since I can remember old mt. view high school used to be here this is a really historical park and brings back some good times for me they made it really nice for everyone its really changed in 30 years but my view is still a nice spot on the peninsula
Nice it’s dog welcoming big I enjoy with son and dogs all the time 3 o 4 times a week
Crowded, but nice
Very nice dog friendly park.
Not so green a park. Playground is okay. Hosts Eagle Park Pool so it is quite convenient. Close to downtown with lots of restaurants.
Beautiful place to take family members and children to swim. Nice.
Great pocket park. Dogs allowed. Some off their leashes. Friendly people. Clean. No parking lot. Curbside parking only, but there are plenty of places to park.
Awesome swim pool in the middle of the park .Sorting to that you have a walk, cycle path .Big one indeed .
A peaceful place (except for the playground) with picnic tables.
THREE WORDS: MORNING DOG PARTY!!!!
It is a beautiful park, has lovely trees, a pool nearby, lots of benches to sit under shady trees. Parking lot available on two sides of the park, if you dont find parking there, you can park on the street.
Great park with a big heated pool andshowers and restrooms.
Great park, my kid plays soccer here every weekend
Great Environment. Kids Love The Play Structure.
Great park for dogs off leash until 10 am! Great group of other dogs and dog owners.
Loads of grass, and loads of sunshine. You just need to bring your own activities. And a sun hat.
The atmosphere is quiet most of the time and not too crowded
This is a great park but not as safe as it could be. Many RVs line the park.
Its a great place to have a picnic and have a soccer match, but doesnt have a basketball hoop
Very nice clean fun park
Totally adequate park, convenient location for most mountain view. Occasionally soggy field. Good for little kids.
This is a great place to bring kids and pets. The jungle gym is popular with kids and people bring their dogs to the field to play every morning. In addition they have a great pool that is open to the public in the evenings. The park is also close to downtown Mountain View and the Mountain View public library. You could easily visit all three on a weekend and have a lovely afternoon.
Has bathrooms that are relatively clean, small play structures and swings for kids.
Beautifully maintained public park, with great climbing structures and a large sand play area.
Its was cool alot of open room to run around for ur dog and has a pool for u to swim if u have a member ship
Nice place for families and pets to run and play would recommend for a nice day or just cause.
Very clean. People enjoy this park.
Small play area, nice clean and green ground.
Beautiful small park with kids playground, swings and sandbox. The Eagle pool open whole year.
Nice big area for soccer, pretty good grass
I love eagle park. Its a little park with a lot of flat greenspace great for playing with dogs or throwing frisbee or playing soccer. The lawn is fairly well maintained and its centrally located.
Nice park big park with room to play Frisbee
Nice little park. Good for book reading, lunch or playing with your dog. Trash cans should be emptied more often. Ive noticed some people will throw their trash on the ground if garbage cans are full.
Cute, lots of grass and tables. Nice playground.
Beautiful and quiet park nestled in a charming neighborhood
Very complete outdoor recreation area. Contains a playground, a soccer field, restrooms, water fountain and a swimming pool. Close to downtown and walking distance to the library. Also it has a parking lot.
Loved that eagle park
Great spot for young kids on a sunny day
Mit little one likes it. There are nice climbing structures, slides and swings and more. And Sand, which is rare nowadays it seamed
This park is very clean with plenty of trees for shade. Open grassy areas for sports. Play structures for kids. An outdoor swimming pool available.
This is a great park for kids up to 5 years old. The play structures are great for adventurous kids and theres plenty for those just getting started, too. The pool has convenient bathrooms.
Nice park for kids and older people alike
Love walking here on work breaks
Very small, located on a little hill at the corner of a neighborhood. Bright sunny public swimming pool with dive boards and offers swim lessons. A small park for little children that has decent shade and is walking distance to the public library. This is a sweet little park for small children.
Very nice park. Not super flat grass field but ok to play soccer or ultimate Frisbee.
Great for family time at playground. Picnics not optimal.
Very nice and quaint park. This park is kid friendly and has a park, and is also swimmer friendly since it has a pool. Very big field.
Great park for all kids as has swings and lots of green space to run around. There are restrooms as well.
What a pleasant little park!
Nice local park with outdoor pool.
Its so great that this is an off-leash dog area in the mornings.
Nice pool with a good depth in one area of 3.5 - 4 feet deep. Perfect for beginning swimmers. Also has a nice grassy hill to sit up on. Could maybe use a little more shade.
Nice and clean I loved!
Very nice park with a playground and ample space to have fun with your dog and/or children!
Eagle park is a nice place for people who have dogs who want to roam the large grass field. I mainly go there to swim at the pool. The pool is 25Y in the winter, and 25M in the summer.
The park is perfectly fine, and there is a swimming pool. The butter edges of the park are sort of like castle walls.
Gorgeous park, with multiple areas.
Two play structures for elementary aged kids, and preschoolers.A unique see-saw that my child just loves!Rather decent shade.Very convenient if youre done with the library and need the kids to work out their wiggles. Not too much to do for very young toddlers except for swings and sand pit. Too many older kids around so if you dont want to stress out watching your very young ones, try Rex Manor Park, Slater School Park, or Cuesta Park. The picnic tables are very old and seem rather dirty.
Peaceful cute and fun
Nice park with plenty of green space, picnic tables, and a childrens play ground with two small parking lots and some street parking. They also have pool facilities that friends speak well of, but I havent used them myself.
Great place for a picknick. Great place for kids to play. There is a pool too which is available for rental. Its a dog friendly park. Some summer they play a movie. Free.
Decent park, good for soccer (Futbol) practice, and good location off El Camino Real n Shoreline.
Nice pool, clean soft water, friendly staff. Peaceful and serene.
Great pool with lots of lanes! Locker rooms are a bit dated but well maintained.
Beautiful park.
Nice clean parking socks
Clean, great masters swimming program!
Beautiful park but restroom are need better maintenance due to urin and feces around restrooms and restrooms where locked.
Good park, cute setting, good amenities
Duck was awesome, food service was good too. Bench seats were a bit dirty.
