Cute little park in Moore/OKC. Kids loved searching for treasures. Lots of green and open space plus the woods nearby have some wildlife (skunks make the wilderness authentic!) In summer heat, playground equipment is warm and benches are blazing hot. No real shade where we were -- some kind of canopies would be a nice addition. Otherwise bring your own seating options and adjust position with sun.
Beautiful park. Great walking paths! Place for children to climb, swing and slide. At the south end of the park is workout station and just west of there is a splash pad and another play area for children. There are two small ponds in the center of the park. I have seen families fishing on several visits.
I love this park. Its nice to walk around with your pet. Ot also had a splash pad and a playground for the kids. They also have an outdoor gym I recommend you try it out. Sometimes there are ducks there also
Very nice BIG splash Park right next to a Big Kids Playground all Pirate Themes and so much fun. Water was cold but refreshing in a hot days sun.
Clean and friendly park. Great trail for walking and running.
Nice park with lots of walking trails and a couple of nice playgrounds for the kids
This place is a lot of fun for young kids when its not too crowded.
This was THE coolest place EVER!! A huge and free waterslide and park for kiddos! We loved it!
Its was too cold but wouldve been a blast plan to go again on a nice day
Very impressed with the park itself. City if Moore has done a great job here for the kids to enjoy as well as parents.
A really nice park, great walking path, lots for the kiddos to do! My 4 year old loves it here.
This is the neatest splash pad and park I have ever been to. If you have not been I absolutely recommend you go!
Clean dog friendly great cement wall paths
Very nice, clean park. Clean restrooms. Nice trails and playground equipment.
Cool water themes with pirate ships, even a lake and trails thru the woods. Splash pad is within easy walking distance.
Amazing fun for both my 8yr old and 3 yr old
Good place to walk. No crowds.
Very clean and fun park with walking trails.
Nice park with great walking trail, ponds and playgrounds. Some open and some wooded areas.
Went here for a birthday party. Great place!
Never crowded and always a nice peaceful and quiet spot to take the kiddo..
Kids love this pirate ship park
Beautiful, big, walking trail and beautiful sights.
Nice and windy due to how open range the trails are, paved and unpaved, uphill downhill. Makes a great dog walk or for jogging and wondering off into the woods without getting lost.
Perfect park for kids!!
Went to a childrens birthday party here. The park was beautiful. My only issues were that #1 there were homeless people there with full on beds, not a make shift bed but an actual mattress!! Issue #2 was that the womens restroom was locked. Not sure why.
Best water park in Moore. The kids are a little rude and inconsiderate and the other parents typically dont watch theyre kids
Great park to take the kids to, or just go for a peaceful walk.
Great clean space for kids to run around. They also have swings for babies and big kids. Several picnic tables. Lots of pokemon stops also.
There are 2 separate parts of Little River park. There is the pirate ships on 4th street and a play ground and splash pad in the Plaza Towers neighborhood.Pros:Both offer restrooms that are open during park hours. There are several pavilions that can be rented at both park areas. Doggie poo bags are available at the beginning of the walking trails at the park on 4th street. There are plenty of benches through out the park and walking trails as well as around the ponds. Plenty of open fields for children to practice soccer, baseball, etc. As well as for people to fly their drones. The 4th street park has baby swings and big kid swings as well as 2 separate jungle gyms. A bigger jungle gym for the older kids and a smaller jungle gym for smaller kids.Fishing is permitted with a state license for teens and adults 16 and over, children under the age of 16 do not need a license.Cons:4th street park has very little shade out side of the pavilions. The restrooms are a bit of a hike up the hill especially for little ones who are potty training.
Fun park with great water features
The City of Moore has done a fabulous works. After the storm it was in such a mess. But look at it now. Thanks.
This splash pad is really great! Plenty of shaded areas to sit and watch the kids play. The newest playground since the May 2013 tornado just opened this summer (2017).
Good park for kids about 4-12. It has good swings and two pirate play structures. If you kid is on the older end I suggest going to the other little river park across the way.
This I an absolute amazing water park. Tons of seating and shade areas. Just make sure you get there early because this place does fill up fast. Also a really good idea to rent out the pavilions around the park for birthday parties or get togethers in any type of case.
Perfect family spot to get cool
Such a fun playground and splash pad! Lots to do for kids! It looks like they are developing more walking paths throughout the park, which has beautiful land!
Small but clean. Everything a kid could want. We enjoyed the baby swing seats!
Nice park with good trails to walk
Pokemon gyms and pokemon stops. Common place for raids. Also good playground equipment. Always clean.
Its a beautiful place totally family friendly. I was a part of the tornado disaster clean up. From total destruction to a FANTASTIC FAMILY PLACE!!!!
Almost a Waterpark, definitely free
My Daughter-in-Law told me about this awesome Pirate Themed Park. It has a huge playground area with sensory play, splash pad (opens in May), clean restrooms, covered seating areas, benches around the perimeter, and a large undeveloped area for flying kites or playing with remote controlled vehicles. Located in the Plaza Towers Elementary School District off Ridgeway in the newly constructed housing area. Thank you to Moore Public Parks and Recreation for bringing families together in a safe and fun-filled environment.
We love going here on hot days. Weve also had Birthday parties here. Very nice splash pad and playground. Lots of tables and a has a public bathroom. Snow cones are available in the summer.
Great park to walk the dogs. It has two little ponds that have ducks and geese. The dogs love to talk with them. People are sometimes fishing, although Ive never seen a fish pulled out. The park has several shelters and a nice playground. There are some wooded paths as well.
Clean park, child and family friendly
Great 0lave to relax and clear your mind while the babies run around
Nice place. Probably the best free water park in the area. Make sure you go on their website and reserve a shelter as they are hot property.
This is the best splash pad Ive ever seen, plus it also has a great playground adjacent to it. Very clean and well maintained. Parking can be a little difficult, but thats just because it is so popular. The only thing you need money for is if you want a snow cone and they are only $1. There are several splash pads that are much closer to where we live, but this one is definitely worth the drive.
There were big red ants on the table and under the table but the table and under the table was clean
Soooooo fun! Super cute and family friendly! We loved watching our little ones enjoy themselves in such a cute place. Is gatted but the door remains open, the children run in and out. Such a free place. This place should just have a bit more vigilance to keep the children safe from the ghetto parents that were driving their car on the lawn to get their stuff under the awning. This guy had an old covered truck and drove across the back to get to the tables, he could have run over a little child. This is obviously not an area to drive your car through. There were at least 50 children and parents, one of all of us there could easily been hurt by the person driving in an area not designated for cars. But beyond that, is a great place. The cemetery is right behind it. No issues with that. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe.
Great Place For Kids Very Clean
My Boys Love This Place.
Best spray park in Oklahoma by far. The only thing that is a little sketchy is the birds nest on top of the boat to the slide.
This a wonderful park, just grand!! Water, play equipment, shade and so importantly, specialized equipment to include EVERYONE!! There are markets and restaurants nearby and this is a good picnic spot.*Warning* The Pirate Park is busy with little students on year end activities as school is coming to a close so plan accordingly.
Best water park...
Great for the kids and free!
Just a peaceful place to enjoy.
We love this park. My seven year old son and one year old daughter both really enjoy it here. This is a highly recommended spash pad/park.
Wonderful playground and splash pad! Always clean with plenty of picnic areas! Splash pad opens at 10, which is not posted anywhere. Nice peaceful neighborhood! My boys loved playing and eating lunch here!
Very nice park!Toy equipment is new and fun for the kids!Has a splash pad for warm weather.Surrounding area is very pleasant to look at.Only down side is parking beyond sucks. If it wasnt for that it would be 5 star rating.
Great place for the whole family
Groovy place for walking
Great little park to visit. It even has a treasure hunt for you to find certain things on the playground
This place is a great option for your kids. Its free and provides lots of fun for the kids. There is also a large park right next to it.
It was great everyone enjoyed it and everything is up to date and quality
Super fun splash pad. Almost like a little water park. Wish it stayed open later on the year. Its hot in OK way past Labor Day.
So much fun! Need more like this
I will gladly change this to a 5star rating when the Google pics and info are updated for this park. Currently it is very misleading. Plan for a splash pad birthday party only to discover the north pavilion is not actually anywhere near the splash pad part of little river park but instead it is at Tom Strouhal park.....guests have a hard time finding this north pavilion also.
Loved it nice Lil water park .. dose have a sign no dogs in water just FYI for family who take there other member with them not much shade out side of the water area snow cone truck was awesome only 2$ a cup . But not Manny flavors over all was a good place to go for the day
Fantastic place to explore
Excellent little water park, great place for the kiddos. Only problem is with parking. Being land locked, no place to expand. Parking aside, recommend this little water park.
Have a gorgeous kids place and a good trail for running.
My grandkids love this place. Every time we bring them here, it is a chore to pry them away to go back home. The only reason I didnt give it five stars, is because poor grandpa just cant find enough places to sit down and rest here. Otherwise, it is excellent.
Great free outdoor water park/splash pad! There is a shaded area for adults, space to set up chairs or sit on an elevated concrete pad. There is a wide variety of water activities that offer something for every age group, from small babies to 12+ children. Definitely a fun day outside and if you need a break from the water, there is a fantastic playground right next door, pirate themed!! Theres bathrooms in site (bring hand sanitizer or wipes since the sinks dont work well).
This park is peaceful even though the destruction of the tornado is still evident. I support this park and hate to see my hometown struggle with the restoration of a memorable since childhood place.
Favorite park in Moore because of the woods behind it. We have so much fun!
Came on my roller skates and had a lot of fun :) the playground itself is great and the sidewalks are perfect for beginner roller skating or blading.
Really nice park with pavilions and walking trails.
This is nice because of the free slides not just water from ground or above splashing on you.I do not like how their is no lifeguard not that one is needed but some kids are bigger than others, dont have patience, or get to excited they rush down slide without seeing who is on bottom. My 5 year old daughter was vitcim to a older much heavy kid coming down after here face down and smashed into her behind. This hurt, scared my daughter and the boy was leaking blood from slide trailing to a near bench which I feel is unhealthy for kids to walk over his blood without shoes.
Has turned into yucky people who do not take proper steps to ensure cleanliness for everyone else at park!! Tons of trash, babies in real diapers not swimmers, just sad bc it use to be our favorite place to go.
Me, and the love of my life, we decided to do a little thing at this place ;)
I had my sons 2nd birthday here love the park but this visit that Im at today actually had some very vulgar and nasty words written on a piece of the playground I cleaned it off for future kids that come to play at the playground it is sad that someone so inhumane would write such nasty and vulgar stuff at a childrens playground people need to grow up seriously this place for kids not for nasty people writing dirty stuff on a childrens playground please let the children have a great imagination and fun and be able to play and not have to think so dirty and see such dirty stuff because of disgusting people like you if you read this but to all the other parents that decide to come to the park it is a wonderful place and I did clean the disgusting words off of the park so have a wonderful time it is a wonderful Park my son loves being a pirate LOL
Amazing park bar none
Fun water park/dry park...one of the best public water park with slides instead of the usual tiny ones in okc. My son loves going here. google directions for the waterpark side is horrible. the general park is still a working progress for trails.
Great splash pad. Lots of fun activities for the children. Plus a park next to the splash pad
Wonderful water park the kids always enjoy themselfs and we love watching our boys have a great time. Clean place to take your kids and its free!! We will be coming back often.. the park area is also a great area for the kids to be kids..
Nice playground and a great free water park. My 4 year old loves it but its a good place for older kids too.
Such a great waterpark. Love taking my kiddoes here!
Love this place, gated and mostly clean all the time. Water turns off at 8pm nightly. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR KIDS. i have seen some kids hurt due to lack of supervision.
It is the best splash park I have taken my grandson to. And a very nice play ground next to it
Nature trails. Feeding somewhat tame squirrels
