Buck Thomas Park

Nice park with many open spaces. If you are into Baseball this place had 16 fields. Other fields to the east can be used for soccer or football. Several paved trails run on the east side along creeks and loops around a small pond. An extensive play scape for kids is close to the water tower. Park is well kept and has several rest benches for relaxing.

Ok, they have signs asking to stay 6 foot apart but no one did. Everyone forgot there mask because no one had one on. Really good chance to catch CV-19 I think.

Positive: plenty of playground equipment and walking trails and room to run. Bathrooms always open.Negatives: The only pavilion with tables is far from the playground... wish there were shaded tables close to the play equipment.Also, today, the trash can were overflowing, toilet paper was out, and no soap in the womens restroom. Mens restroom looked and smelled like no one had even tried to clean it with any cleaners lately. It needs it badly. Someone came while we were there to empty trashes, but they didnt empty the small overflowing teash cans in the batbrooms, just the big ones outside.

Great place to celebrate 4th of July.. inflatables (they offer wrist bands..ask around), mechanical bull ride even for adults like me, helicopter ride pricey but it last about 5mins if I remember right...did it once..food ofcourse, lots of parking spaces and seating place..bands, music..one year someone set up a karaoke..was awesome. nice size vendors..varies each year. anyways its fun... remember your sunscreen, hydrate!!! the kicker is the fireworks at the end... beautiful!!!

Really awesome park. Plenty of fields to watch my niece and nephew play on. I try to avoid the bathrooms, but what else do you expect?

My 9 year old grandsons were attacked by teenage trash while we attended their sisters ball game. Moore police were good. Not impressed with park personal.

Its a Large Complex with lots of playing fields for Multiple Teams.. Football and Baseball.. I really enjoyed and the entry was $5 for Adults $3 Seniors..

Pretty large park here. Theres a sort of trail to walk, there are spaces for animals, a skate park for doing tricks, many places to park, lots of diamonds for baseball and multiple playgrounds for children and swing sets to go with those. There are also tennis courts.A really nice place to take the family, as there are also bathrooms here and a few spaces for recreation.

Fields are in good shape,enjoyed watching my nephew play baseball at a quality ballpark!!

Alright, so this may sound a bit geeky. Does anyone here play Pokemon Go or Orna? If so, this park will be one of your favorite places to go. You can walk around safely and catch all the pokemon you could ever want. Orna players, there is a bestiary, store and dungeon. Fight to your hearts content and level up pretty quickly. The park itself is pretty clean and the walking paths are great. There really is so much more to do there, but Im into the gaming and thats what Im focusing on.

The park is showing its age. The playground is sunbleached and almost all the slides have graffiti. The tennis courts are still in good shape and the skate park is in decent condition, but there are much better playgrounds around.

Tennis courts are clean and nice. The baseball fields are fun when they are open, but most of them were locked for some reason.

1st time at this complex, it was very nice and very big, I liked how many different sports were able to b played here, very clean grounds also and great parking!!!!!!!!!!

Its got all kinds of facilities for little league sports a decent sized playground and a skate park. The only major downside is the parking isnt great and it gets full fast.

Overall the parks looked clean and orderly. But we did notice some damages that may need to be addressed.

The biggest and best fireworks show in Oklahoma.

But Thomas park Has been a hangout for kids at the skate park smoking drinking lts not the signing park that used to be.

I spend every 4th of July here! They have the best activities and fireworks show Ive ever seen!

The family and I love this park. Plenty of stuff to do for all ages.The only thing I do not like about this park is, the people who drive through the park. They just fly through the parking lot. Like hello our kids are playing. Definitely needs bigger speed bumps, to slow people down.

Great little park.

Hands-down our favorite place to play softball. Best facilities by far and breakfast served by concession stands on tournament mornings is incredible. Youth baseball fields are great areas for skateboarding walking or jogging soccer fields and everyone is always friendly. Whether you have children or not you need to check Buck Thomas Park out.

When fishing at the parks pond, park at the North end of the dog park parking lot, otherwise its a much longer walk. This pond is stocked by the states wildlife department with catfish and perch. Ive seen 12-18 catfish caught here. Any questions, check with the City of Moore, or the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservative.

Moore puts on a great Firework show!!

What a great park. It has something for everyone. Fields to play soccer or baseball. Walking trail, skate park, playground, and both tennis and basketball courts. Its been some time since my last visit to this park and theyve done a wonderful job upgrading it. It has definitely grown with the city of Moore. Looks like they put in more to the parking area. When I was younger wed come here for our fourth of July fireworks enjoyment. Seems they have kept the size of the fields relatively the same. Still lots of space to sit and enjoy that. My visit this time was with my dogs to give them a good run around after a long drive. It was drizzling and that definitely kept the park from being busier. Im sure if the weather had been a little better Moms in the neighborhood would have sent their kids here while preparing thanksgiving dinner in peace. It is a great park and Im glad to see the city has invested more into it and taking good care of it. Thank you Moore!

A lot of parking, big park, good 4th of July celebration

Changed alot since I lived in moore. I am 74 and my 3 boys played baseball there over 50 years ago

Great place to attend a baseball tournament. Nice fields. Plenty of space in between fields. Covered bleachers with some shade trees dotted here and there to provide places to set up camp and wait for that next game. Decent snack and drink selection at the concession. Restrooms could be nicer, but these are functional and well-lit. Plenty of parking.

We went to Buck Thomas Park for the Fourth of July festivities. We were very fortunate to find parking very close to the park to watch the fireworks display. The Moore Police Department had things very organized. We brought chairs and sat just West of the Moore water tower. It was a perfect spot. The fireworks were beautiful. Patriotic music was playing in the background. It was a beautiful night with a light breeze blowing.

Nice place to go walking they have a dog run and some ponds just a enjoyable walking place

Parking was a little ridiculous but other than that it was a good place.

Great place to bring the whole fam for a fun day at the ball park. Love the concession and the bathrooms are alright lol.

Nice facility unless it rains any amount! Real quick to cancel a tournament because fields dont drain and they dont know how to rectify and issues.

We very much enjoy visiting the new dog park! We dont have a dog but we like to go and meet, pet & play with everyone elses nice dogs. It is a very enjoyable and fun experience!

Great baseball fields, paved walking paths, very convenient, and a nice little skatepark. Worth a visit if you are close.

Nice playgrounds and ball fields, good place to run around too if you like jogging.

This place is my pups jam! Positive shed live here if it were possible. Other owners have been great and attentive. Water sources are extremely accessable. Plenty of balls and open space to run and get energy out.

Beautiful. Nice dog part. The gates need to be escape proof. The entry gate needs a divider between small and large breed. Also, the other gate needs to be more close to the ground.

Some of the best tennis courts around with good wind screens and lights. Courts have close to no cracks or faults in them. The maintenance is done on a professional level. Kudos to the team that maintains them.

This has always been one of the better ball parks in the OKC metro area for little league baseball..

Park is great, parking is horrible. Same story every year.

Great place for walking, peaceful and pretty.

Its a very clean and expansive park.my daughter plays softball here and they take great care of their fields. Free parking if you can find one close to where you are playing. If its not a game night, no problems with parking.

Bathrooms need cleaning but nice park...

This is a great place for family fun. They have softball, baseball, football, and soccer fields. I enjoy working games out here.

Volley ball courts are great!

I played on the tennis courts. The nets needed some repair, but mostly they were in very good shape. I also would like some wood on the fences so I can practice solo, but all in all its a very clean, very nice park.

Very nice park with two playgrounds, one for older and one for younger kids. Great (mostly) shaded walking trail! I love to visit with my family! Always meet the nicest people too!

This park could use some maintenance. Broken playground equipment, trash, and unstocked bathrooms. Its a huge park though with lots to do from walk trails, dog park, skate ramps..etc.

We love all of our great Moore parks but this one is right in our neighborhood so its perfect!

We have been going here for years now. Its a great park for your kids and there is a dog park right next to it as well. It is always well kept and clean.

I was watching my brothers football game

I take my kids here to skate and used to come for sports when they played football. Its a great park and even though we dont live close we come here once in a while just because they like it.

The atmosphere at this facility is real great. Family environment with young children learning to love sports. What could be better?

Great tennis courts. Easily accessible, has bathrooms, and parking was not an issue. There is also a playground which would be great for kids.

This park has everything your family could need. There are multiple kinds of ball fields, playground equipment for all ages, a skateboard park, a dog park, walking trails, and lots of space. They also have an awesome July 4th fireworks show every year.

Buck is no exception to Moores large collection of well maintained and beautiful public parks. It is more geared for family sporting events.

Two play areas for children, a nice walking trail, pavilions, and skate park, we love going here.

A beautiful park that has some great playground equipment for kids.

Parking is terrible, kids working concession need to pay attention to what there doing. (Hot dog had so much mustard on it was dripping off it) some the lights on the field 6 were out.

So much nicer than the mustang ball park! We have enjoyed playing here!

I like it becuase its a dog park but what i didnt like was that there was dog poop around the dogs owner should be responsible to picking it up the right way and dispose of it correctly. Other then that its a great park for the dogs
