Great park with old oak trees to sit under. Playground for kids, walking path, covered shelter with outlets for events. Has many pokestops and a gym for kids or adults that play PokemonGo.

This is one of many lovely parks in Monticello. Lots of play structure options for kids of all ages. Theres a nice picnic shelter and a sand volleyball court. The park is well maintained, with tons of mature oak trees, including one Ive taken to calling Methuselah due to its enormous circumference and size. Trust me, the picture doesnt do its size justice!My kids and I enjoy going here in the evening, and its usually pretty busy. You know its a good park when theres always other families there!

Great place to go to hang out with friends! I biked there with a few friends and it was really nice! The park has a few picnic benches in the shade and a few in the sun. If your looking for a place to chill the picnic tables are very nice. There is also a playground for smaller kids, there are a few slides and lots of swings and loads of other things there! 10/10 would recommend

The park had lots of people today. Monticello Days. A car show which is why I went. Lots of neet cars. Must have been over a hundred of them ranging from about 1903 to 2019. There was food and games. Sloppy Joes were great.

Very nice, clean, & well kept park. Great playground for the kids & plenty of picnic tables. Right down the road from Wal Mart if youre looking for a lunch spot while traveling.

It was a beautiful park I really really enjoyed hiking around and going through the woods. There was so much to take in and I could definitely go back and explore even more.

Decent playground, good tables for picnics, and a nice volleyball net really make for good get-togethers at this park. The walking path around the ponds are great for the more introverted, especially early mornings.

It was a good quiet and wide open place to hang. Port in a storm. The drawback was just that it was in the city limits so a little more cramped overall than I had expected.

Its a quiet mid-sized park. Not lot of kids there unless there is a softball / soccer events. Ive been here for years an still dont know where they keep the sign up info. They have a ice rink in the winter but bring your own ice skates (no rentals are available).

Kids were safe and had fun at the big park!

A lot of great activities here, the park is always very well-maintained. The walking trails are beautiful, and the playground equipment is well cared for. I love bringing my kid here. Too bad they didnt end up putting in the splash pad.

Great park to host a family reunion or another family event.Wonderful playground park area for kids, nice covered shelter area with lots of picnic tables and a kitchen area for setting up food for your event and bathroom area for men and women. Easy access to freeway.

Really nice location. Lots of play ground equipment. Upkeep on the lawn is fantastic! Biggest complaint is the lack of shade. No trees covering the main play ground area creates super hot slides.

We stopped to let the kids run and play a bit as we were traveling from Iowa to Alexandria. There was such an unruly group of young teens, taking over the spinner, slides etc. Then they spent a good amount of time trying to knock the apples off the tree by the parking lot. When they started throwing the apples at the cars in the lot we decided it was time to go. We wont be back and wont recommend this park to others.

Pioneer Park is a nice community park in Monticello, MN. It hosts several events throughout the year and on my visit had a car show. It is a nice park with stuff for the kids and benches and tables to sit and have a good conversation.

Monticello parks does an awesome job

Awesome park with something to do for every member of the park. Soccer fields, splash pad, basketball court, playground, etc. Highly recommend.

When they were younger, were loved this park for the fun playground. Now that theyre older, we enjoy the walking path winding through beautiful, mature oak trees. The grass is kept very nicely, and the covered picnic shelter is perfect for meet ups -- clubs, birthday parties, etc. Great park!

Nice little park with picnic areas, a walking path, volleyball, bathrooms, and updated playground. There are usually always children here and it is in a great location on school Blvd.

Its a big park with a volleyball net, restrooms, a covered eating area, and a ton of fun playground equipment. Handicap accessible too. Great for all ages!

My review is pointless so DO NOT read itIts a park... it has trees... you can slide UP a slide (how neat!)... you can eat chicken there... you can do a yeet-off... AND think about why you went there alone and get sent in to a spiralling depression...VERY NOICE

Clean park with a noce neighborhood around it. Also the porta potty is very clean especially for a publoc park porta potty! Has a lot for kids of a ranhe of ages to do. Also great for walking and walking ur dog!!
