Wright County Parks are AWESOME! Very clean very accessible. Did some magnet fishing today at Montissippi Park!

Beautiful park with a nice paved walking trail loop. Large oak trees, prairie plants, and nice amenities including a kids’ playground, disc golf, and a fishing pier right on the Mississippi River. Very close to I94 so you hear the highway noise but otherwise this is just a gem of a park in a nature setting.

Great disc golf course installed. Made the trip up there from Bloomington just to play the course. But also seen there was some bank fishing available. Which is very cool for myself. I love both fishing and completely engulfed in disc golf. Used to be competitive enough to play tournaments. Pdga #45345. With that being brandished. I will say you got a great track with this course. Keep it evolving with elevated baskets moved from hole to hole to keel up with tje newer courses. As that is now showing up everywhere nowadays. This has become a frequent stopping point for my grandson and I. Built along the Mississippi River, it has a fishing dock, boat launch, hiking trails, a fine disc golf course and a play area with plenty of apparatus to climb on for the little ones.

New fairly challenging 18 hole disc golf course with a nice variety of open and wooded holes.

Its quiet and I like to camp there and eat food over the fire. And take naps there.

Great way to burn off steam for kids and adults alike! Large playground for all ages with lots of shade and benches. Paved trails form a nice loop and are pretty flat. Trails are well marked with plenty of benches along the way.

I love the frisbee golf 18 hole course

Ill rate it 5. Nice frisbee golf course. Unfortunately, there were several people leaving there trash around. Sad. Disrespectful.

Was a very pleasant experience. If you are booking for a nice, uncrowded place, youve found one. Would be a great place for kids as there is a playground. Lots of shade, and right by the river. Due to all of the snow we got this year, and the relatively narrow stretch of the river, the water was following quite fast. Fast enough where I not recommend swimming. It is a fairly good place to fish, and is great for a picnic. There is plenty of room for a large group of people, Id say enough space for at least 50, or possibly 100 people. Overall if your looking for an outdoor location that is good for playing games, having a party, or just to have a calm picnic with family, this place could be perfect for you.

Montissippi park is tucked away off of county rd 75, west of Monticello, MN. It has nice trails for walking or bike riding, a play area, and river access to drop in a canoe or kayak. Access to the park is easy and is open year round.

One of the best walking parks and pets!! Great areas to see the river up close. Feels like you are out in the woods

We love montissippi!! Great place to walk dogs! But today (June1 2019) our 2 JRTs are COVERED in ticks. does this park spray? If not, I guess we wont be going there until late fall when theyre gone. Only reason for 4 star not 5. So beware right now we pulled about 15 ticks off each dog, and we were on the paved paths, and mowed parts of the path. did not wander off the path, either.

Great place to bring the kids. Nice playground, biking trails, wildlife, seen about five deer as we were leaving. Quiet and secluded right on the Mississippi river.

We are staying in a local RV park and I decided to check out this park with my two small dogs. Im so glad that I did. I love the paved path that is so smooth. No cracks or patches that I noticed. Super clean and very well groomed. Part of the path runs along the Mississippi River. Will come again while we are in the area.

This is a great place to fly your model plane, hike, run with your dog, picnic, and take your kids to play on the playground. The grounds are paved and Ive often seen people in wheelchairs enjoying the paths through the woods. People are considerate of their dogs, but often leave them off a leash. If you have younger children with phobias, they might be uncomfortable, but all dogs and owners are kind and responsible. Police also regularly patrol the area. Possibly due to part of the land belonging to Excel energy.

I highly recommend this park it has quite a bit to offer it is on the Mississippi there hiking trails that are really well maintained actually theyre black top theres an Airfield for anything RC in fact theres a guy flying a drone this morning when I went by on the trail have a park for the kids you have a floating dock in the Mississippi that you can fish from it has great scenery so I will give this part 5 stars all day like AP

The paved walking trails make it a great place for anyone, the playground is a hit with kids and the back trails along the river are fun to explore.

Very ice Park down by the mssissipi. Very few benches. Bring a blanket to eat on cuz no table.

This park offers a great walking path with views of the river, a playground for children, charcoal grills for picnics, and a dock and boat launch for river fishing. Just remember to bring bug spray
