Amazing trip through history. Worth taking the time to come and visit! Explore a bit into Alabamas past and present. Gift shop has very unique items made in Alabama. Staff was considerate and nice! Be prepared to go through metal detectors on your way in! Perhaps leave the purse and bags in the car before you come inside for the tour, to make things easier on yourself.
It was really big in there and a lot of stairs.i was just on a field trip so this is coming from a 10 yr old i would really suggest it for learning

The seeds of racism are still prevalent throughout the Capitol building. Jefferson Davis and the Confederacy are revered throughout. Sad.
