Charming building where Robert Louis Stevenson lived for three and a half months in 1879. There’s a lovely, quiet garden in the back that’s great for a peaceful sit down. The major downside is that the building is open only April through October, that too only on Saturdays, and that too only 1-4pm. Nevertheless, worth a visit if you love Stevenson and wish to have a blissful hour in a nice backyard garden.
The interior was closed when I walked by on the Path of History, but the gardens are very beautiful and peaceful. There are a couple placards posted so you can pick up a little info even without going inside.
Beautifully kept structure and grounds. Nice docent and the site is very accessible. There is a colorful story behind this site and Mr. Stevenson, Ill leave it to the reader to go find it out.
Gorgeous garden!
Small and not open much but worth it.
A State Park exhibit. Its a building. It just sits there. You cant go inside.
