Wonderful place for events. Tour of the homestead was very interesting!!

A really great place for a school field trip. The staff did a great job of sharing a Civil War era farm with the kids and making it interesting. I found the gentleman who portrayed the soldier to be the best, he was both funny and informative!

Beautiful historical homestead... Well worth a visit! I look forward to going back soon. Youll be pleasantly surprised. I was there for an educational, cultural event. Fun for the whole family...

Id love to live there and farm it

The William Harris Homestead is such a wonderful place rich with history. The curators are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about all of the workings of the farm. We ventured out on a Saturday morning and received a tour from a guide in attire from the time period. We were given the opportunity to view the house built in the 1800s as well as the salt house, the cemetery, and the smokehouse. This was such a neat experience, and we will not hesitate to return.

Opening day 2018. Very quaint atmosphere, informative hosts who obviously have a passion for history. Great place with so much potential. Looking forward to many more visits. Especially for the Heritage Days in October.

Had a blast joining my sons school field trip. Guides provided a lot of good information about life 150 years ago. Now maybe he wont complain about the few chores he gets. Want to take the whole family.

An amazing experience! We enjoyed touring the homestead and seeing life from the 1800s. The family was so nice and loved to educate us.

Was here for a Native American Indian show. Nice place. Nice people.

The place is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and supportive. We felt that they went above and beyond our expectations. Our group is planning to hold events there again in the future. The kids loved the tours, presentations and the crafts!
