Course is great, course rangers are rude and unprofessional. I along with three other witnessed a course ranger today act completely unprofessional to a father and a young child.The child plays on tournaments and was not playing slow. The tee box ranger grouped together to many people, and three holes later another course ranger told the (6 person group) to hurry up or get off the course. Then proceeded to blame this child on front of everyone for the slow play.I bring my child to play here and was completely blown away by the treatment of this family. For a golf course that should be encouraging kids. This is absolutely uncalled for.Kudos for the dad for not losing his temper and uplifting his child.The course ranger should have not grouped a walker, and three other carts together. The other course ranger should have been polite and asked the group to split up. It’s unfortunate, but blaming a kid for slow play in front of the father was uncalled for.On a good note the child played very well and kept up.

Great price. Greens are in good shape. You gotta be on your game putting. No easy ones. Will come back

They are very COVID conscious. Nice course, maintained well. Small greens and rolling, bumpy (in a good way) fairways. Rough has a tendency to swallow your ball, keep a good eye out, if you tend to leave the fairway. $30 senior rate with cart.

Enjoyed our round at Monroe CC yesterday. We found the greens and pin placements particularly challenging, sometimes tucked in corners of the green, almost impossible to get the ball close on a chip or pitch. The course was in great condition and play moved along quickly. We finished our round in 3 hours 40 minutes.The cost for separate carts during Covid-19 was somewhat excessive. The club has been challenged to have carts available for everyone so they have raised the cost for individuals to $18/round. So instead of sharing or paying the cost, we took turns walking with the other driving. Worked out great!We look forward to our next round at Monroe CC.Note: This course only offers gas carts . Ugh.

Hilly, open course with fast greens. Not a lot of water, but a decent amount of sand traps that are deep.

Private party. The building was in disrepair. Cobwebs everywhere. Cigarette butts everywhere in the back parking lot. Dirty cabinets in the main room. No handicap bathroom.

Tough course and in excellent condition.

A nice club, close to highway traffic but separated by some trees and a creek. There are some good club kart trails and a few greens with quite a bit of space. Besides nearby traffic, its a pretty quiet and peaceful area. There are fish in the creek as well.

Great course. Best public course in Union county. Greens are excellent. Fairway well maintain. Front 9 small greens compared to back 9. Fun course pace of play is push by Marshals.

Fun track. Both 9s are completely different. Fairways are decent and greens putt great. Head pro is a certified PGA master professional and is super helpful. With some minor fairway improvements i could give it 5 stars.

Monroe Golf Club is a gem. Best greens Ive seen this year anywhere. Fairways were like carpets. Inexpensive and beautiful.

Great course - range FAR awayI have played this course 3 times now while on the road. I really love the layout and the place is in GREAT shape.The only potentially negative is warm up takes forever because the range is about a 5 minute or more cart ride from the clubhouse.

This course is in perfect condition and Saturday when I played the greens were rolling extremely fast (10-11 stimp). For the money, there is just nothing around that competes with the quality and value of this golf course!

This is the second time Ive played this course. Great value. Well worth the $40 to play. Front nine old school Donald Ross course and back nine modern Tom Jackson. Both sides had perfect fairways, bunkers were perfect and greens rolled fast and smooth at about at 10. Had a nice chat with the head professional, Nick Jacoby who is was very personable! Give it a try it well worth it!

Nice wide fairways. Greens played a little fast than what Im used to, but the course is laid out nicely and made for a fun outing.
