Ive been going here my whole life. The park is huge and beautiful. It has a great playground, a few BBQ areas and fishing access. Fantastic.

Perfect spot for family or for fisherman. Theres a beautiful park, picnic area, big open grass field and dirt paths that lead to the river for fishing. Carp, largemouth bass, catfish, and blue gill, never seen sturgeon but I heard they are there if lucky

Definetly a great place to take kids. Their arent any bathrooms though. They have some but they stay locked.

Lots of litter.. people just dont care and throw everything by the river. Expect others to clean it up and so no one cleans.

Love how they upgraded the park, I just wish people werent so nasty and cleaned up after themsleves in the restroom

The roads into and out of this park are full if huge potholes. The park is in much need of maintenance. There is a small playground with new toys. River access for fishing. I wouldnt suggest swimming in the river.

Awesome place to take your dog

Stumbled upon this place while driving home from a worksite. Nice little spot to fish. Its free entrance, theres a play area, and decent spots to cast. Will come back to try my luck again!

Its a great place to go out there drop my kayak in at 6 a.m. by 7 p.m. had more than 40 fished already caught stripers bass catfish

This place could be wonderful, but there was so much trash it was hard to enjoy.

Looks like people can have parties here now.

This is a super great park to take your dogs and kids, as there is a large fenced grass area right next to the play structure and covered tables with BBQ s. The river is nice to walk along and many people fish here.

Be cautious everyone.I was out there May 1st with the family and came across 3 snakes in only an hour of being there.

Grounds need cleaned. So much garbage.

This is a good river based park. There are large fields to play sports and let kids run around. Lots of people fish here and it is quite easy even for kids to catch blue gill in the pond with the dilapidated fence. We didnt get to use the new playground equipment yet. Want a challenge? Try Kayaking or canoeing from the Patterson fishing access to here and be ready to see lots of wildlife!

Some of the nicest soccer/football fields that Ive seen near the town of Grayson. Its a little small but its charming as well. Ive spent maybe thirty minutes each visit taking photos of the area so Im really not sure if it has bathrooms or a big picnic area or not.

Nice place to have river access

The fishing was fine but not all of the fellow fishermen that were blasting music from their cars, drinking and being annoying. Eventually I found my own spot. The egrets were interesting to watch fly too.

Very clean park. Has a few picnic benches. Love this place for a nice break. Has plenty of shade. Car shows are held here. People come to fish. Floods during rainy season.

All year round fishing. Dirt boat launch. Small soccer field. Picnic area. Open sunup to sundown. Two areas to fish the San Joaquin River. Simple living. Porta-poty. Bring your own paper and water.

I love to go here by the river to play my two wooden Native American flutes.

Its beginning to look much better . I would love to have a family reunion there but we need restrioms

Sad that you can no longer fish over night here. I did as a kid, best of times and HUGE catfish.

Laird is popular for soccer, cat fishing, picnics, some other seasonal fish runs check local fishing reports. Sprawling park between the Laird Slough and the river. Near Dairy farming so if you cant handle the fragrances of nature maybe not your first choice. Nice park though.

Nice place to launch a small boat

Alot of garbage, to mamy people and not enough way to get by the river. However, good for night fishing

I wish theyd turn the back where the shooting range was to an off-road area so some people can just go 4-wheeling and goof off even if they cost $5 it would be nice but since the county owns it hell stay fenced-off which is a shame

We go here for picnicks and fun like baseball, dodgeball, soccor and its a great park and if you like fishing its there too

Best place around to fish. Plus you dont have to pay to go in and it has bathrooms. Be cautious about going near the water you will drown if you fall in.

Fishing great! On weekends gets really busy! And a few homeless living there.

Park is nice to take your kids to run around or play sports. Is pet friendly and proximity to the river makes it good for fishing. The park area needs some maintainance grass is very dry and the fishing spots are often trashed by people.

Great! has really been revamped for the public since I was a kid. Unfortunately ppl dont know how to clean up their trash. I have found needles, diapers, fishing hooks, anything you can think of along the river.

Good fishing up stream just dont leave your vehicle unattended it will get broken into

Been coming here since the late 60s. Memory lane and the fishing is great

Good for boat launching, but serious crime, graffiti, and garbage problems. It is in need of serious overhaul.I would recommend launching your boat and having a friend drive the vehicle back home- I would not trust leaving it unattended.

Its quite tranquil enjoying the environment, as well as, exciting just to see the fish jump out of the water this evening!!

It be great for people to clean after themselves. trash bins are not too far.

Went collecting old glass bottles. If you take your dogs or kidsbe careful as there is lots of broken glass along certain areas of the shore of the river.

This place is great it has a great place to barbecue, a river to fish, and best of all a great soccer field that gets packed on mondays.

Not a great place to be after dark

Beautifully renovated by private citizens.

The sheriffs dept is next door and I like that. Safe is how I feel here.

Super relax

This place is aweful. Drug dealers delight out there. Fishing is terrible, entire place is covered in garbage. There would be more bad reviews of this place, just people have already wasted enough of thier life by tryi g to fish here. Do yourself a favor, do not go fishing here. The only thing you will catch here is garbage and drug dealers. Witnessed at least 4 drug deals today, in a 2 hour window
