Wonderful place for the whole family to enjoy the great outdoors and learn about Montana history

I live in Milltown, and walk this park often. Its beautiful to watch the changes each new season brings.

Kids liked walking on sand and mud area. I love the scenery.

Great place to wander with the dogs or kids. Several paved walkways with established trails to the river. My dog loves it, as soon as we turn into the parking lot, she get super excited. Great place to swim with dogs or kids, several hundred yards of beach along the river with an average water depth of 2-4 feet for 15-25 feet from shore. Of course, during the runoff season it is very different but no one should be getting in the water then anyway. One of our favorite places to walk the dog, rarely crowded, and only 2 miles from home.
