Beautiful park & very family friendly! Dogs are also aloud on leash. There is room for everyone to enjoy on the rocky/beachy area. Must check out if visiting Missoula Montana.
Lots of families and a fun place to swim. If you have outta state plates you have to pay like 5$. Only issue is the occasional trash left because people are rude and cant pick up after themselves.
Nice Park. Be careful of the directions. Currently, if you let Google maps direct you, youll end up in a neighborhood. Instead, just stay on Mullan Rd and follow the signs to the Park. Its a short, well maintained dirt road.
Just a really nice out of the way quite nature park it also has a few nice picnic tables...
Beautiful! Perfect background for senior pictures
Good birdwatching; I osprey, hummingbirds, owls, occasionally see hawks and eagles.
Great place to brings the dogs and swim.
So nice place to swimming
My wife and threw our grill in the bed if the truck and grabbed the dogs to go enjoy this day use park today. It is a nice park. There is a vault toilet on site, but the water is shut off. The problem with this park is the people who visit it. Our dogs were the only dogs on a leash today, there are 3 signs in the park that state dogs must be on leash. I counted 27 off leash dogs today. As for grilling - useless to even attempt it since everyone speeds through the park fast enough to create a huge dust cloud (not one other vehicle that came into or out of the park was doing the posted 10MPH limit). We are not from around here, but the blatant violation of the posted park rules and the lack of respect for other park users is the reason we will not go back to this little free day use state park.
Love walking my dog there, hopefully people will take notice to keep their dogs on a leash.
Nice little stopping place to let your dogs or your kids run away. Good place for picnics and privacy
Very beautiful, nice trails to the river. And a nice beach area as well
Such a beautiful, peaceful park. We enjoyed watching the owls and other birds.
Lots of room to roam and explore!
Love this place, but watch out for ground bees.
Clean, beautiful park along the Clark Fork River. Restroom, lots of well marked trails. Day use only, no fees, fishing. Dogs on leash only.
Nice area but too many people
Awesome place to go swimming!
At this park you are a short walk from the river, however you wont really have a good view of the river because theres a small, overgrown island blocking it. Parking lot is good sized, and theres a well maintained pit toilet for your convenience.
This is a beautiful, peaceful place. Its also a great place to bring your dog.
Its a nice little open recreation spot with a large open meadow and a forest area with river access.
This place is a mini paradise (when all the white trailer trash clears out for the summer). Easy to access and a small trail to explore the immediate area. Beautiful when not packed full of disrespectful drunks and homeless people.
Great place for dogs to roam
Nice little area and not crowded, at least not this time of year. Bathroom outhouse. Day use only.
A nice out-of-the-way park that no one goes to but should.
Great spot to stretch your legs
Love to go swimming here and has great place for picnics.
